Quite simply the best ball on the market. There is a misconception that the pro v1x goes further because it states 'low spin'. I have i high swing speed but generate low spin so to reach my optimum launch angle i need a high spin ball. I actually hit the pro v1 twenty yards further than the x. Around the greens it beats the pants of the pro v1x and callaway hx tour which feel like bricks in comparison. Mickleson has switched back to the 'standard' pro v1 and its not difficult to see why. These are great balls, don't let anyone try to convince you otherwise. Just hit one and see for yourself. I find them to be plenty long off the tee, great around the greens and fine to put with. I play with blades and my iron game is strong, it has to be because I cant putt or drive at all. I find these balls sublime to hit. They are soft, spin well, not too much, and let you do whatever you want. They come off the club beautifully, no weird noises that a lot of people complain about and they stop exactly as titleist promise they will. Overall an excellent ball, just a bit too pricey. Customer Service Never needed it. Similar Products Used: Name a ball and I'll have hit it at least once. Nike, Callaway, Srixon, Precept and Titleist mainly. All make great balls. |

I wanted to dislike this ball since it's pricey, but it has the best feel and control off the putter and irons of any ball I've used. It's not as long off the driver as some, but control and accuracy more than make up for that. Oh well, I'll just have to shell out the $. This is one of the best overall balls out there, if you have the right type of game for it. First, it's really good off the tee not head and shoulders above the rest but it's there with the HX Tour and the U Tri Tour. Second, it may be the best feeling ball off the putter. This may be second to none. But my only problem with this ball, but it maybe others delight is the massive amount of control and spin from 50 yards in. Being someone raised on seaside links courses, I don't choose to fly the ball very high from 120 and in. I like a low trajectory knockdown. The Pro V1 proved it worth from the 160 and 225 range with my long irons. But I found it difficult to control the spin and distance from shorter range. I think it's more me than the Pro V1. Finally, these balls do fit the hype and I can see why the pro use them. I may need to change my game Customer Service Haven't needed it yet Similar Products Used: Callaway HX Tour, Precept U-Tri Tour, Maxfli m3 |

I just don't see what is so great about these balls. Granted, just because I don't care for them, that obviously doesn't mean that they are junk. I found that when hitting these from the tee and with my long irons they feel like rocks. I didn't notice a distance change from my normal ball. I will say though that with my wedges and when chipping they were good. The spin that these balls produce is huge. When first chipping I thought that the greens were slow but then I tried my normal ball and found that the spin was the reason for the slowing of the ball. I don't feel that these balls are worth the money that you pay for them. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: Strata tour ace, Wilson true tour |

This is to 'Not a hacker' Just chill out and relax, every one is entitled to their view on this forum. Even someone who hits in the hundreds can hit a few sweet shots during their round, and who's to say they can't post a review on their favourite ball? Perhaps you need to get out and enjoy the course a bit more... either that or stop reading the reviews here...hehehe... Customer Service nA |

I,ve played just about every ball out there and this is by far the best golf ball I've ever played! I can spin my 8 iron with this ball like a wedge with other balls. On pitch shots I can get the ball to really bite on the greens as opposed to having it run for 5 feet. I score with the wedges and around the green work and these balls deliver in the red zone(100 yards in). I haven't lost any distance on my drives with these balls so the long game doesn't suffer with the Pro V1. I will play this ball until something better comes out. i've only played ones i've found, and am glad i haven't wasted my money on them. i waited to collect several to play them for a while to give an honest review. this ball is long and does spin well, but is way over-rated. this ball has a "click" feel to it, unlike other balls i've played. maxfli's A10 was longer and spun as well or better, and was softer w/o the click. the Ben Hogan Apex Tour spins more and hold the greens far better. the only reason i'll collect these is to resell ones i find! This ball has always been a most consistent performer in all facets of the game (putting isn't the best, but much much better in the newer version - but it seems like the newer versions' covers aren't as durable as the older version, which is how I always justified the cost. I could play one ball forever). When I see what this ball does around the green, I can't see how anyone could possibly give this ball a bad review. Hmmm. I won't even mention the PGA Tour or any other tired old argument people use when talking about how great the Pro V1 is. These balls are just really good and consistent and they do what you ask of them. If you don't like them. . . I can't see how anyone can't like these. Similar Products Used: Many, many, many balls |
