good ball for people looking for a good mix of control and distance. the ball need to have a driver with older driver technology. I do not recomend using with a driver larger than 360cc. I lost distance between an older taylormade driver and the new r7 460.

I was using the previous 2 piece nxt tour ball 2 years ago. Last year I switched to the Precept u-tri tour. Great ball. But I realized that ball is designed with a low trajectory. I was losing yards. This year I bought a box of the new NXT tour three piece balls. Wow, what a difference. Long of the driver (longer than the old 2 piece.) Putts like a marshmallow, great feel. Hits the green off the short irons like covered in glue. Hits and sticks! As far as long irons and fairway woods--straight and true. Not a complaint!

Labor Day weekend Saturday afternoon to myself, dropped down to the local muni to see what the crowds looked like. No one going off. Hit a bucket of balls waiting for anyone to show to play with, wound up going out alone. Played two balls, the NXT Tour and Nike One Platinum. Observations- for me (driver swing speed about 100mph)these balls are exactly the same length. I mean there were holes the two balls were 3 feet apart. Both of them would stop or back up slightly with 8 iron through wedges for me. None of the excessive backspin that I find with the Pro V1. The NXT Tour is slightly more forgiving off the driver, this is an almost eerily straight ball. Hard for me to curve on those holes where you want to draw or fade around the corner. Around the green is where the difference is most evident. The NXT Tour releases while the Nike just flat checks up on half and even quarter shots. I had more luck putting with the NXT, but not sure that this was not the strokes I was putting on the ball. In summary, this is an excellent ball that for me is plenty. It seems similar to the Pro V1x, which I prefer to play when I can play more often and am in better physical shape. Right now, I lose distance with the V1x that I don't with the NXT.

Found one during the round and then put it in play for the next 2 rounds. Ball is long and soft. Does hold the green as much as I would like, but I'm going in 1 club shorter which makes up the difference. Good value.

I bought theses balls just on a whim, and I loved them. They are long and accurate. I really liked how they felt with the putter.they have a good amount of spinn and the cover of the ball is soft yet tough. A great ball I think

SAtarted playing golflate May of this year and just broke 100 today (95). Ball, NXT Tour. Needless to say, I'm happy with it. First truly beautiful day of the summer, so I might have done this with any of the other balls that I have been using (Precept, Noodle, and Strata) but I did it with the NXT so, needless to say, this is the ball that I will be using in the near future. It took me a while to get around to using Titleists, but they appear to set the pace in this crazy game when it comes to golf balls, and they probably produce many of the balls currently on the market. I lkie em'.

Good ball, but not a great ball. I hit these as long as any ball I've tried. They are great in wind but difficult to work. They are mediocre on and around the green and don't hold as well as some mid priced balls. I prefer the Hogan Hawk, though I'm a couple of yards shorter with it. I can work it better and it is superior around the green. (and by no means a short ball)

Not too soft, not too hard, it's just right. A jack-of-all-trades ball that's durable and consistent for just about every aspect of the game. This is all-around the best ball I've ever used and I think it matches my game quite well. When I get to be a better golfer I may want a softer ball for more spin, but for now, this one is perfect. I too was impressed with the excellent review in Golf Digest. Titleist knows their stuff.

This is a great ball. It flies straight and long. It putts very well. Not as long as a V1, but not bad. At $27/dz this is probably the best value out there.
