Very durable, soft feel off irons & wedges but solid feel from woods & driver, quite a bit of distance compared to other balls. Spins adquately to stop ball on medium to firm greens. Similar Products Used: Strata Tour Straight, Callway CB-1 |

A friend and I bought us a dozen DT SoLos and played last week. We both fell in love with these balls. I honestly think these are the same balls as the DT 90s that were around in the 1980s. In any case, they are long off the tee, soft with the irons and putt very well. I played a round with two balls. The first ball obtained a pretty good scuff after being hit from the sand but the ball was plugged pretty well so I hit it with a lot of force. The other ball was hit from a trap later but wasn't plugged and it came away with no scuff at all. These balls are the best I've come across in years. I have been playing the Strata Tour Ultimates for the last few years because they felt soft but were long off the tee for me. I'm fairly long off the tee (285-300) usually. The DT Solos fell within this range with one stopping around 310. I also noticed very little roll (backspin induced) with my mid irons into greens. Overall this is the best value I've found for my money. I've tried the Pro V1s and honestly wasn't impressed. Not for the money. If you are like me and only play a few rounds a month, try the DT Solos and I imagine you'll enjoy them as much as I do. This ball is one of the best I have played for the money. I have played with the NXT Tour and found that the DT Solo is longer. The first time I played with this ball I hit a tee shot 275 yards. Which is good for me because I am only fourteen and I average about 240 yards a drive. Usually 255 being my longest. Don't go spending 45 dollars on a Pro V1 this ball is almost as good for about 20 dollars less. A golfer like me who does not go out every time and shoot par this is a great ball for me. Titleist SoLo
Like so many of you, I have tried many brands and types of balls in the last year or two due to proliferation of choices and the irresistable lure of game improvement through ball selection. The SoLo is my latest, and I think it is excellent; long, soft, reasonable amount of iron spin, nice touch on and around the greens, durable, and low- priced. Problem is, how to distinguish it from so many others that are very similar in features, performace, and price. Well, it's time to face it folks, unless you are one of the very few excellent golfers in the world (say low single digit hdcp) your ball choice is not very important to your scoring. It can, however, affect your enjoyment of the game. There are many very fine balls out there that don't cost too much and that play just fine for the vast majority of golfers. I have decided that spending more than about $20 bucks is delusional, unnecessary, and a waste of money for all but the highly skilled among us. Just settle on a quality ball that feels good to you and is pleasing to play with and concentrate on the rest of your equipment (which can REALLY make a difference). For what it's worth the Titleist SoLo seems to have a bit more useful spin into the green on iron shots than the other low compression distance balls. The Laddie is a bit longer and just a tad softer that the SoLo, but spins less. I found less spin with the Noodle and the Loco as well. But they all work fine for the average guy and you don't have to have a settlement attorney to purchase a dozen of any of them Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Too numerous to mention |

This ball has replaced all the other balls I've tried. It stops pretty darn good on the greens, and goes a long way. I tried one of the new NXT Tours again today and did not like it as well. While it is not a Pro V1, it is the best ball I've found that is reasonably priced. Cover is very durable Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: PRO V1 / Topflite XL 3000's , NXT Tour/Distance, Precept U-Tri , HVC - Tour (terrible ball) |

As a beginning golfer, I was oblivious to the difference a ball can make in your game. I was too cheap to shell out hard-earned money for top quality balls...especially when many of them ended up in places I did not intend for them to be. To make a long story short, I found one of these babies in the rough on hole #7. After starting out on what was to be a very forgettable front nine, I went bogey-par to end and now insist on playing nothing but the So-Lo. Straight off the tee, great touch and feel around the greens, smooth as silk off the putter. At $20 per dozen, they are the perfect blend of performance and value. Try a sleeve, you will love them !!! Similar Products Used: Top Flite Super Feel, Pinnacle Power Feel, Nike Speed/Feel. |

Found one by the side of the road on the way to the golf course. Never had heard of it before. Teed it up and ...wow. I've never hit it longer or straighter! Soft as butter off the mid irons (when I even have to hit them!)Short irons hold very well. I have a high ball flight, which helps. Putt beautifully! I found my thrill! Love 'em Customer Service Huh? This ball feels great off of the clubface. However, it doesn't hold the green very well. That's the trade-off of playing a low compression ball (low spin). Overall the DT SoLo has great feel and I'd recommend it to players looking for a little more distance who are willing to sacrifice spin. bought a dozen a couple of days ago, i usually shoot in low 80's roughly 9-10 hndcap. will score in the 70s maybe 6-9 times over the season. Used the ball for the first time and shot 77 then the following day shot a 78. the first day i had 2 TRIPLE bogeys and ! DOUBLE , 1 birdy and FOURTEEN pars, the next day i had 12 pars and two birdies. Liked everything about the ball usually stopped a couple of feet from pitch mark, and it has been hot/dry weather they fly very straight , wasnt't in any trouble all weekend. this is the only ball i have ever reviewed Similar Products Used: strata laddie sxrixon soft pro v1's |
