Todays technology is great. Here is a ball that has the potential to, when hit correctly, travel farther than a vast majority of the balls out there, while also feeling great around and on the green. Especially for the price, they can't be beat. Paid 24.99 per dozen at Dick's. I love some of these reviews. How about the guy who blames the ball for going into the woods!!!! This ball will go where YOU hit it, and it will go a long ways, whether it be on the fairway or in the woods!!! Remember this. With todays technology, many of the inexpensive balls on the current market would out perform the top of the line jobs of 5 or 6 years ago!!

I'm not a great golfer, but better than many and I do not understand some of these reviews of the Hx Hot. This ball is long, I mean LONG, and goes where you hit it. For me that's GREAT. It has taken several more strokes off my game by just staying in the short grass. I can make it fade at will, so I do not understand the unworkablility statments. Drop and stop, I do not notice a problem. But I do know I can't back any ball up out of tall grass, and that is where I was to much before the HX Hot. This is the best ball I have ever used.

Due to a cust svc issue receivng a shipped driver, I was given a box of these as part of the compensation. I usually play the strata tour straight 3 piece (usually on sale very cheap). I typically shoot around 90, lately in high 80's. Played the same course I have played 3 times in last month, just yesterday. Used this hx hot for very 1st time. I shot 88. Can't put all of it into a ball, but I did notice longer drives, great for pitches, decent spin, good feel putting. Will definitely keep playing these to see if it continues. Was going to post this above, yesterday, but went out again to see 2nd round with ball. Shot 38 front, 43 back. Flirted with breaking 80 for 1st time. Need I say more.

Customer Service

Have dealt with them recently on a callaway iron concern, very quick email reply, offered direct # to speak with person, he went above and beyond (way above) in offer to help with problem. Say what you will about their premium pricing, or whether you like their typically radical designs, their customer service is the gold standard by which every manufacturer should be held, and unfortunately other's don't.

I am 13 years old and i am 5,2 and about 90 pounds. I first used these balls one day when i didnt have any balls in my bag, and they were great. In the 9 holes i played i hit every fairway and i hit my longest drive ever, about 250 yards. If you are looking for a very good ball that isnt as expensive as prov1s or Hx tours get these.

I played a few of these balls and was quite impressed. First off, it's probably the coolest looking ball out there! Ok, that shouldn't be a factor, but hey, golf is also a mental game. Like a club, if it looks and feels good, you're gonna do better with it. Value: At $25/dz this ball is very good. Feel: Feels harder than the NXT Tour. Greens: Fast when greens are hard. I work in a Major golf superstore, I see them all and talk to everyone. This ball is above average but I would spend a couple bucks more and get the NXT Tour for my money. If you like a cool looking ball though, this is probably the best!

I bought a dozen balls and was very excited about the potential extra distance. I was very upset that Callaway did not inform me that the extra 10-15yds would be into the woods. NO control off the driver...irons felt great. I bought another doz to ensure it wasn't a fluke...same results. The Noodle, or AD333 are MUCH straighter off the driver for me.

Don't know how the previous reviewer didn't find this ball to be long...It's the longest I've ever played, with no debate. My normal ball is the ProV1x, which I love, but I recently played the HX Hot off of the tee in a 3 day captain's choice tournament. Hit my longest drives on my home course on at least five different holes. It's true that it has very little spin, so I won't be switching to this ball, but it is indeed looooong. If only we could switch balls in a normal round after the tee shot, like in captain's choice...lol

Really a great ball. Added 10-15 yards on all my clubs. There isn't much spin which hurts a little bit especially around the green. The durability is a problem, but unless your some kind of perfectionist don't worry about it. Also easy to work (fades, draws)

I didnt really find any extra distance with this ball, in fact i lost some. On Top of that, it was nearly impossible to get any spin with it on shots within 100 yards. I would recommend it to begginners and thats it.

I received the two-ball trial pack and tried them this weekend. Great! Jumped off the club but had a great soft feel on the face and had a nice "click" to it. Regarding approach shots, the ball stuck fairly well, however, the greens I played were quite soft. Putting-wise, the ball felt soft on contact and putted true. I have not had luck with Callaway balls in the past - they were either too soft, too hard, etc. However, these are just right. Add the low price on top of that, and these balls will do equal time with my Pro V1's.
