I have read all the reviews, went ahead and bought the video kit thru Ebay. After watching all 4 tapes and reading the workbook, I can definitely say for sure, Dalton is fundamentally correct in what he is teaching. If you follow his methods and don't ask questions, you should see good results. His methods simply increase your squareness zone with a more upright swing, full wrist rollover release and weight transfer. This will work with all full swings, even the Driver. Practice it, live it. Now for the bad part of my review. At the end of each tape, the producers keep hawking other products to buy with an 800 number. The tapes are a little too short and all four lessons could be on one tape, each lesson is between 25 to 45 minutes. Last, the current price on www.mccrarygolf.com of $99.00 for these 4 videos and a workbook is rather pricey. On the other hand, if you have been wasting $25 or more bucks an hour for a "PGA Pro" who spent more time learning how to "sell" golf instruction than actually how to "play" good golf, this is a better investment. You can review the videos all you want without dropping another $25 each time. Save the money for greens fees. I purchased Daltons straight shooting golf about 4 years ago when it first apperared with Kevin Trudeau.I was a low 80's to low 90's player and thought this would take me to the next level. Well 4 to 5 years of hitting that tire later my scores are the same. All I will say is that my best round ever still came before I bought this course. My advise, just see your PGA pro and go to the driving range. |

I am naturally (as Phil Michelson) a right handed person but play golf n the left. I had always suffered from the pull syndrome as a result of overuse of the left hand. Now that i have discovered that I should be playing with the leading right hand as my strong hand I have become a very powerful hitter (and straight)of the ball. I got the 4 tapes and the handbook about 3 weeks ago and already my game has improved. I joined a golf club (i've only been playing since last summer) and my first round i shot 125 and shot 110 on my second round next day. The best thing is i can correct the errors i make and i know after each swing what i done wrong. I'm just keeping on hittin' that tyre and watching my score come down Customer Service 800 number no use for us in UK. I need a set of clubs with 4 degree up angle to perfect the technique Similar Products Used: various magazines to try and correct my shank hook and slice |

I posted a negative review regarding this product many, many moons ago but I've decided to post another in the interest of fairness. I've learned a great deal regarding the golf swing in the past couple of years and I wanted to quickly share my experiences to that others can make a fair judgement regarding this product. Since abandoning Mr. McCrary's method about two years ago, I've absorbed a tremendous amount of info regarding the gold swing; from Modelgolf's system, to Lever Power Golf, to Gravity Golf, to Perfect Impact, and finally just laying down my clubs altogether (primarily because of a back injury but frustation was also a prime culprit). I have just recently taken the game back up, primarily due to discovering AJ Bonnar's "The Truth About Golf." This is the ONLY information regarding the golf swing that has allowed me to consistently hit a golf ball. Why am I writing about Mr. McCrary's system? Because I realize that McCrary's information and Bonnar's information are very similar. The reason I could not absorb McCrary's information is because he was primarily describing is ACTIONS rather than his THINKING. Looking back on it, McCrary's instruction is actually pretty sound. Some are able to duplicate his actions and get the proper results, others, like myself, need more understanding regarding the accurate thought process. If you are struggling with Mr. McCrary's system or want to understand WHY Dalton McCrary's system works, you may want to purchase "The Truth About Golf," by AJ Bonnar at www.ajgolf.com. Bonnar's philosophy plus McCrary's drills could probably turn a poor golfer into a scratch or close to scratch golfer in about a year. So I'm amending my original review and giving him a better rating, though I feel that, for some golfers, his information is incomplete. Customer Service Mr. McCrary actually contacted me regarding my initial negative review and was very pleasant. I couldn't appreciate his advice at the time but the man knows the golf swing. He just seems to not be able to explain WHY it works. Similar Products Used: See the review. |

All I can say to the people who says it loses your distance is that your not doing it properly, watch the tapes agian and keep doing the drills and you will hit the ball perfectly straight and far. How do i know this, because it was the same with me when i first started the programme, i lost distance straight away and thougt it was a waste of money, but i kept up the practice until i found what i was doing wrong. It works, its fantastic, i shot 10 shots better than any other round in ten years and all i can say is thankyou to Mcrary. |

i bought dm's tapes & manual 5yrs ago 1 was then playing on a 20hc i now hover around the 9.5-11hc & play once a week i must admit my irons have deterioated in consistency i need to look at the tapes again.the reviews i have read make interesting reading especially the negetives.the ones that grizzle about loss of distance & casting have obviously listened & not heard & read & not comprehended. the interesting thing that didnt come up was their ages? i'm 59 & all the old sports injuries are giving me gip. i find dm's swing very user friendly and the distances i hit my clubs has improved even though old man time is catching up eg driver 230-50metres 7iron 150-60m 9iron 130-40m the longest iron i use is the 5 the 2,3,&4 iron ive dopped out of the bag.dm,s system works you just have to trust & work at it. the swing the pro,s teach you is ok if your young, have you ever watched them coach someone that is middleaged? they're hopeless. the poor souls ,me included end up with broken backs & stiff joints. this swing suits all ages. i hope this helps those that have an open mind & are willing to truly listen & practice. to the grizzlers if you dont understand then leave it to those of us that do, be happy with what you've got this is not a quick fix for what ails you. be happy & go hard.
