Very sweet club. Allows a full, hard swing to land softly. Not the greatest value, but a great club. Similar Products Used: Titleist Vokey, Cobra Trusty Rusty |

I started with the Sandwedge and went to the Gap wedge, then received the special pitching wedge as a present and just bought the lob wedge at a fire (literally) sale. They are the easiest wedges to get on the green. My accuracy has improved as my score declined. Great on set up, nice and heavy to swing. They exuude confidence. This is a great classic club. It has the feel and consistency of a tuning fork humming an A-440. You will not need another GW once you've put this in your bag. I prefer the chrome model to the RTG, in this loft at least. Save the extra spin for lob wedges. The bounce angle of the Diadic's slippery chrome makes for beautiful gliding through the turf. Sold my Mizuno Faldos (52, 56 and 60º) and purchased the 53 and 57º. These clubs play to a consistent distance and trajectory that I could not get with the Mizunos. I can lay the blades open and pop them up, close the blades and play knock downs. The Mizunos had hot spots that could hit the ball ten yards farther than you planned. I love the Clevelands and wouldn't think of switching. Customer Service Have not required any assistance. Similar Products Used: Mizuno Faldo's, Taylor Made Inserts, Titleist Vokeys |

I have the sand and gap wedge and I love them both. These are the two clubs in my bag that I feel the most confident hitting. Cleveland makes great clubs (and not just wedges -- check out the reviews on the Quadpro woods). |

588 RTG 49 deg. SP
What makes a good mid to long iron design does not make a good wedge design. The 49 deg. SP wedge can replace the indifferent pitching wedge that comes with most iron sets. If you're happy just to land somewhere on the green, stick with the cavity-backed PW that looks just like your 9 iron. But if you plan to take control and work the ball close to some diabolical pin position, the Cleveland 49 SP will do exactly what you instruct it to do. Very nice wedge - easy to hit - easy to control - perfect for shots 50 yards or less. Also tried the Vokey but preferred the feel of the Cleveland. Solid club at a fair price. Similar Products Used: Titelist Vokey |
