these wedges are awesome! i have had the sand wedge for like 3 months and i have had the approach wedge for about 2 weeks. they are really versitile and put alot of spin on the ball. regardless of what other reviews have said, they dont chew up your balls, and i would know cause i hit the sand wedge like 115 and i hit the approach wedge like 135. the feel and control are awesome on these wedges too. i have made alot of chip ins and holed a shot from 40 yards away. i lipped out from a hole in one too. the ball landed like 5 or 6 feet past the pin and spun back. great wedges.

the consumate sand wedge. versatile and beautifully weighted, i can play practically any shot with this wedge. My only gripe with this club is that the chrome finish wears away very quickly but the performance is not affected. This club is a real confidence booster and i reccomend it to anyone of any skill level. doesnt spin the ball as much as a trusty rusty but cleveland has the rtg and gunmetal wedges which rust so the choice is yours. one suggestion though, definitely go for the 588 instead of the 485.

This is the best wedge in the game, period. I would only consider replacing it with the RTG because it has lost some bite over the years, but this is the only club I ever use inside of 75 yards, full swing, pitch, or chip. If you don't have much feel, use a perimeter weighted club but if you are mid to low handicapper, you'll understand why Cleveland is the industry standard.

Great wedges - excellent feel, confidence inspiring. No need to calculate distance with a roll, these wedges make the ball check up within a foot of impact with a decent swing; and they have a ton of backspin with a well struck ball. Forgiving too. Would highly recommend both. Golfbargains.com had them at $79 each...delivered. Cheap in comparison to the $110 average for my Comp EZ sandwedge. Performance is better than expected. Tiny warning: if you hit a Strata or comparable, I'd recommend hitting 40-80 driving range balls BEFORE you try it on the Strata. The grooves absolutely chew the ball! Neato! I'm a high handicapper and played golf for only 2.5 years. Broke 90 last month - expect many more sub-90 rounds very soon.

I am not sure how one wedge can be significantly better than another. I think that a good player could make a wedge work... but I have always had a little more confidence with my Cleveland Be Copper wedges. Probably due to the extra weight. All Clevelands also have a very attractive curved shape when you address the ball.

Now I am only 13 years of age and I absolutley love this club. I can hit it from about65 yards out side of the green and put sufficant spin on the ball so it comes back to the whole. I can get it 10 feet away from the hole every time I hit it and then make the put.

Up fast and down soft, pretty much sums it up. I hit this club about 65-75 yards. It lands really soft. On a full swing, it is very easy to spin the ball. No need to cut the shot to get it to stop. On short chips it stop quickly just because of the loft. It's great for pitching to a close pin or downhill pin. It has it's place and time. If your looking to run the ball, look at something less lofted like a 58*. If used correctly at the right time, it's a great club. If I hadn't put a lot of time, effort and moola into what I choose to carry, I probably wouldn't carry this club. It's not for everyone, at this loft.

This is the best wedge I have ever tried. Nate has no clue what he is talking about. Clubs improve your game, but not by heaps and heaps, also TRY THE CLUB BEFORE YOU BUY DUMBASS (Nate). This club is soft feeling and puts great backspin on the ball
