The 691 series clubheads appear more rounded off than the 588 series. I first purchased the 52 degree gap wedge and noticed better control. I usually hit my TA4 pitching wedge 100 yds and I found my ball at about that distance with the golf cart to far away. All I had with me was the 52 degree 691 wedge and was shocked that with my slow swing speed I was able to muscle it 95 yards to land within 15 feet of the pin. I was so pleased with the improved performance of the 691 series over the 588 that I switched sand wedges as well. The 691 series 55 degree wedge has only 13 degrees of bounce and it is designed for firm sand. All of the golf courses in the Phoenix, Arizona area, even the luxury courses such as Phoenix Country Club, have very firm sand. The 691 series 55 degree sand wedge works much better in the firm sand than the 56 degree 588 series.

GREAT WEDGES I do not think I have ver played better wedges, these wedges do what you want them to do. IF you want to flob it they flop it if you want to spin it they give you more than enough spin. These are just great weges

This is a must have club for those flop shots around the green when you're in longer grass and can't do a bump and run. Even when hitting out of the rough with a half swing the ball goes high and will release but not as much as you would think. Get the 60 degree loft. It's easy to hit out of the sand and has an excellent feel. Don't pay $100, you can find this club for around $70 if you shop around.

Was playing Titleist tour models. Switched to the cleveland and actualy
got better feel and control. I ordered mine with the Rifle shaft and I truly love this club. I'll be ordering the 691
Sw next.

Overall best wedge you can buy. Takes a few tries to get used to but one you do, its easy to stop the the ball very close to the pin. Very easy to clean. I'm not a very good player but this club makes it so easy to get the ball up and stop it next to the pin.

I like this a lot so far. I just got it but it has very nice feel when you hit in in the center. One thing I am having a bit of a problem with is spin. I can't get to much spin out of it. But that may be my swing or it has not rusted yet. Overall, a very good wedge.

I shoot in the 100's, at my level, I don't think I have the ability to hit any ball with backspins. :) So I chose the coated Chrome version. So far I have only used this club for shots around the green, chipping, bunker shots etc, nothing more than 60 yards from the hole.

I cut back 5 strokes from my score ever since I used them and I notice my short games are starting to improve.

It very strange cuz' everytime I hit, the ball seemed to go where I wanted it to go. That gives me a big confidence boost, especially for high-handies like me, we really need that kinda boost. :)

I would recommend for high-handie golfer, get a couple of these wedges and start practicing like crazy your short games. I know how you feel topping every iron shots, :) so just get the ball close to the green, and make use of these wedges!

These wedges will take a little getting used to. The heads are very heavy and you can't power through them, but if you let the club do the work the results are excellent. I have had these wedges for 2 weeks and am getting 2-3 feet of backspin on a regular basis. I will have to adjust my landing point so I am not consistantly short of the pin.

The gunmetal finish is gorgeous, Cleveland's best. I wasn't sure when making the purchase but now love it out on the course. Why did I ever buy the wedges that matched my iron set when these beauties were out there? Great feel, great out of the sand, great spin. I could never spin the ball with any regularity or get out of the sand as effectively before I got these. I didn't know if getting a Cleveland would be worth it, but it definitely is.
