this is the 4th putter i have owned in the past year and i honestly love it. I have made more birdies with this putter than with my never compromise and oddysey 990 together. I got a really good deal on ebay. 155 and it still had the plastic on the grip with the headcover and divot tool, which works really well. I have always wanted a Cameron putter, but never could see spending 250+.... I happened upon this one and am VERY GLAD I DID. I had rather had the 1.5, but I could not pass up the deal I got on the number 1. I really love the soft feel, but you do have to wipe it down with a cloth and baby oil after every round to keep it looking new. I thought it was strange that the sticker on it recommended baby oil, but trust me, it works.

I am going to disagree with the post prior to mine. I have played with my studio putter for about a month. I have seen a dramatic improvement in my putting because of the confidence I now have with my putter. The putter is beautiful to look at. It has a great feel and it releases through the ball nicely. All in All a great putter!

Despite the fact that their price would suggest otherwise, the new Cameron studio design putters fail to improve on prior Cameron models. Instead, you get the same old putter with the only thing different being the "screaming yellow headcover."
Cameron has yet to improve on the 1995 Titleist Scotty Cameron Del Mar putter which remains the best putter ever made.

What a Great Putter, this putter is well worth the money. Golf is funny, we will spend 500.00 on a driver that we only use a hand full of times per round, but we act like 275.00 for a putter is unheard of. This putter has a nice feel and is a real work of art. If you are in the market for a world class putter and aren’t sure which one to get, give the Studio 1.5 a try and I think you will be sold.

I have not been a fan of Cameron putters until now. The studio series is a piece of art. Soft, but not to soft-Solid all the way around. I wouldlike to try the 1.5 to see what the sight line differnce makes. The headcover is an added bonus. Worth the $$$$.

Very nice putter. I've been putting for the last 2 years with a Cameron Pro Platinum that I has really improved my distance control. I must admit that I was reluctant to even try a Cameron because of not liking to jump on the "name brand" wagon, but these putters really perform. The Studio line is a very simple / clean setup and the feel off the putter is balanced and extremely "soft". Very nice for faster greens. I highly recommend these putters. I currently have two of the 1.5's so if anyone needs one...

P.S. - If you are considering this or any other Cameron putter (other than the pro platinums), be advised that you will have to oil it regularly and keep it away from funky chemicals that are sprayed on greens, or it will rust and discolor. That was another reason I decided against it - I want to own it, not have it own me.

Also, the yellow headcover is a "screamer" all right. It is screaming "there are two one hundred dollar bills sitting in this guy's bag, and he is in the bathroom right now - GRAB ME AND RUN!!!!" Personally, I always go out and buy the most low key, generic headcovers I can find and put them on any high profile clubs I own.

The little divot tool that comes with the putter is very cool. I have a suspicion that the design may catch on big. You can buy them separately for 10 bucks. Now THAT is a good buy.

I won some money in local tournament, and thought I would use it on this putter. I would never even consider spending that much real money on a putter, but since it was free...

The exorbitant cost notwithstanding, the Studio IS a superior putter, in that it is very heavy and that promotes a smoother stroke. It is also very classy looking with the gloss black finish. I am not sure what it is, maybe the fact that the head is milled from a single block of metal, but it definitely has a unique feel as the ball comes off the face. I really liked it a lot.

HOWEVER, the shaft is only available in a 35 inch length, which in reality is only about 34 inches as other putter companies, such as Odyssey, Ping, measure it. This was too short for me, and would also probably be too short for anyone over six feet tall, or anyone who doesnt like to stoop over their putts due to back problems, also like me.

So, I called Titleist and asked about getting one special ordered with a longer shaft, and they said that Scotty will not allow them to make ANY CHANGES to his design, including changing length or lie angles! Yow! - a 250 dollar hunk of metal and rubber, and you can't even get it fitted to your preferences! That is beyond my comprehension.

I asked my clubfitter if he could butt-tip to make it longer. He said yes but that would make the head more "toe-up", and would lead to stubbing the heel as you try to get the sweet spot down to the ball. So, if you lengthen it, you have to have the lie angle adjusted, and then you kind of getting away from the idea of why you buy a 250 buck putter to begin with. I finally decided it was too complicated and stuck with my Ping Zing, which fits me pretty well.

Interestingly, after much serious testing and scientific analysis, I have found that when I make good strokes, the ball goes in, and when I dont, it doesnt, no matter what putter I am using. Go figure.

This putter is sweet. It puts true and is heavy so that off line putts will not be caused by twisting. Distance control is good and the feel is superb. The first time out with this puppy I was on the green of a par 5 in 2 and sank a 40-50 ft. putt for eagle. Do i have to say more? The head cover is great, and the only downside is the maitenance needed to keep the putter in good shape. Otherwise, this is one helluva putter.

A great putter! Simple design with clean setup. I also had the SC Pro Platinum Newport 2 Mid Slant. I prefer the "softer" feel of my Studio. My confidence in my putting is the highest it's ever been. The difference is now that it doesn't matter what the length of my putts are. I don't expect to get close, I expect them to go in. The Screaming Yellow cover and divot tool are cool too! This putter looks & feels good - when your buddies start giving you their $$$$$, so will you!
