Outstanding irons. Two years ago I made my own iron set using top notch TT steel shafts, and was very happy with them. Then I went and demo'd these. I could not believe how accurate and long they are. I demo'd them a second time and ended up buying. I've only played two rounds with them and each time I equal my best score. I think they are perfect for anyone who can't play enough to really groove a consistent swing. I hit about 6 shots per round off the toe, but with these sticks there is no penalty. The ball ends up going straight. For previous reviewers who reported harshness, I have not had a similar experience. Perhaps they are hitting rocks instead of golf balls. I play Tour Patriots or Tour Distance balls and do not get much vibration on mis-hits. If you're in the market for irons, do yourself a favor and demo these clubs. The marketing hype (less twisting, straight off the toe, etc) is reality (for once).

Bought this "experienced" set from a golfer who was too short for the set, which is standard length/standard lie.
What the irons does for me is amazing. I started playing in june this year, and started with a set of graphite shafted Yamato irons. However these irons seems to fit me much better. Suddenly I can curve my shots almost as I want anytime(a little more practice...). Length is better, and more consistent. These are guaranteed to bring my HCP down when courses are good here in Denmark again (very wet and soon shifting to "winter rules").
When hit on the toe these irons give a smacking sound, but the shot is still pretty straight and long. When hit good, you almost doesn't feel it at all, and the shot is dead straight (if thats what you wan't). They feel a little heavier than my old set, but the precision is to good to worry about that. Anyway, it works for me!

Clubs are extremely heavy, especially for someone with a slow swing speed. I found them hard to square up and when I gripped them with my normal strong grip, I ended up hooking even the short irons. I found that the offset was not sufficient for my needs and is progressive and not constant as I was initially told. I have gone back to clubs with a constant offset and graphite shafts.

Customer Service

Customer service was slow or non-responsive. Took a couple of emails to get them to answer the initial one. Was asked to write a letter to National Account Manager. I did so and never got a call. I did one day out of the blue get a call from a sales rep trying to buy peace with me by offering some promotional balls.

These irons hit straight, but the vibrations can do a number on your body.
Any hit off center will result in a clunk sound and vibration ( I have the Steel Shafts ), but the ball does goe straight. The grafite shafts may be better at absorbing off center shots.
Watch out for the vibration!

Went and demo'd a set and let me just say, "KABOOM!" These are top-notch sticks. All irons in the set are workable, able to both fade and draw on demand. Distance is comparable or superior to the other high-end irons I have tried, and straight when called for. Feel is pure. These clubs live up to any hype and then some. Buy 'em!

After having owned these irons for over a year, I have really taken my game to a new level. They are very forgiving and give you loads of confidence at address. Distance is consistant and the shaft does improve accuracy. However, this morning I snapped my sand wedge's shaft, but I dont think there was a problem with the club as it has taken a lot of abuse in recent months! I was surprised how thin the walls of the shaft were, but I haven't seen any other clubs in this way so I don't know if this is normal.
Overall, if you are looking for consistently good shots, buy this set

This clubs are really straight, and long... I hit preatty long, but with these babys i hit longer and straigther... They are pretty heavy, so you`ll have no trouble getting trough the thick rough... I can shape my shots well, and get away with a toe hit, here and there....

Im only 14 years old and im 6'1. I just recently purchased these irons off of a friend of mine who only used them for 3 rounds. They have the stiff steel shafts in them, which i didnt think i could hit but i was wrong! In fact, these irons are WAY better than my old graphite shafted Big Berthas. I was playing these irons a few days ago for the first time and i was amazed about how far these irons go and how accurate they are. I was about 210 yards from a blind pin placement and i chose to use the 5 iron. It went straight as an arrow right by the pin. It was the farthest 5 iron i have hit in a long time. And i have hit it like that every single time i have hit it. These irons originaly costed $750 but my friend gave me one heck of a deal, and i am so glad i bought them. I think these irons will improve everyones game no matter what their handicap. Also, Mike Weir on the PGA tour used this same model. I think everyone should try these out and buy them.

These irons have made the biggest improvments to my game. Miss hits still go striaght. Trajectory is a little higher than I would like, longer distance. Out of the 10 guys working in the store, more than half are hitting these irons. That says a lot when they have access to anything they want. I wish I would have bought the forged version looking back. The fat shaft technology is no gimmick. Most dealers have a display that allows you to twist a fat shaft versus a regular iron and you can feel the reduced head torque. You lose a little feel, especially with the pitching wedge. If your a golfer that hits every shot perfectly on the sweet spot than these clubs are not for you. But, for the normal golfer less head torque equals straighter missed shots, which equals a more enjoyable round!
