Outstanding irons. I owned last years FS, and liked them well enough, but after demo-ing the Platinums, I traded in my old ones and bought the set. They are better in every way, but the new ones truely excell in two areas: forgiveness and feel. The additional weight in the sole and toe really helps to get the ball up and keep it striaght if you make less than perfect contact. When you hit it pure, the feel is amazing--sort of like hitting a blade absolutely pure. With the old ones, I never got that magic feeling associated with hitting the clean. It is great to get it back! Similar Products Used: Callaway, Chipshot clones, Ping, Top-Flight |

long and very predictable. i bought these after trying a friends. i fell in love with them, and traded in my hawkeyes. there just as long as hawkeyes, and seemed to be alot more predictable for my swing. also just as forgiving as my hawkeyes, with out that huge clunky head. Great clubs. Easy to hit, good solid feel. Cut 9 strokes off my game already. Forgiving and instill confidence. Similar Products Used: Taylor , Ping |

I love these irons. As a number of reviewers have noted, they really do reduce torque and are very straight. Hits off the toe seem to fly straighter and longer than other clubs. The shafts are so solid that you can really hit down into the ball w/the P through the 4. The 3 requires more of a sweeping swing. When you're hitting the ball well you get a really pleasing thwack followed by the whump of the club pounding the ground. The one criticism I have is that the 5 and 6 don't hit much further than the 7, though that probably is the fault of my setup or swing. |

Great clubs and easy to hit. The Fat Shafts really do reduce the amount of torque. Huge sweet spot on face of club which gives great feel. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Firsole, King Cobra Gravityback |

Great club. Distance and accuracy are the strong points. I hit the ball higher than with anything else I've tried but can still hit knock downs. Hard to fade or draw as can only manage slight ones. After many years with 845s, switched to these and gained at least 1 1/2 club distance. I highly recommend to all mid handicappers. Similar Products Used: TA 845s, Topflite Tour, Titleist OS |

These clubs do everything they are advertised to do. Long and extremely accurate. I have picked up 1 to 1 1/2 clubs in length with these dart throwers. Not real workable right or left, but straight is good too! My only concern is the loft/lie adjusting should it be necessary. I understand you have to remove the heads to do that. Great clubs otherwise. Similar Products Used: None |

I bought a cheap starter set to begin with but after 8 years i decided a new set would benefit my game. I don't hit the ball far but these new clubs realy do help your distance. If you already own a good set then it probably won't benefit as much but going from a starter set to these is a massive transformation. I hit in the 90's but i'm heading down to the late 80's and hopefully soon lower. The difference is the confidence they give you, the club head squares up without any hand action and they hit consistently straight even when not off the sweet spot. I would recommend these clubs to anyone wanting a better set than they have, my only warning would be if you already hit the ball high these clubs will emphasise that fact they seem to be cut with a bit more loft than other clubs i tried this may be the reason why the 5,6 & 7 irons are within 10-15 yards of each other. These clubs are no gimmick, they do work by reducing torqe and stopping the club head staying open through the shot due to superb peripheral weighting, you still need to play a decent shot mind but you'll play them more often and more consistently than before. Customer Service I bought my clubs from American Golf Discount and whilst i didn't get custom fitting the service they provided was excellent. They re-gripped all irons with a grip of my choice and i could take the clubs back within 3 weeks to swap for something else. Similar Products Used: Whilst trying the Wilson FS i also tried some Cobra clubs which i thought were superb as well and £100 cheaper then my FS's |

I was lucky enough to be at a local Driving Range in Baton Rouge, La. and there was a Wilson Representative with a fitting van. I was fitted for these clubs and to my surprise the shaft that worked best for me was the Senior flex graphite, two degrees upright. Customer Service I had a lob wedge missing when the original order came in - I contacted Wilson and recieved the wedge within one week. Similar Products Used: None |
