I was shooting to about an 18+ was I bought these last June, by October I was a solid 14. These are very forgiving irons, and I get about 5 more yards on my 5 iron than I did with the Cobras. I would highly reccomend them to mid-high handicappers Customer Service On 4 of the irons the plastic ferrule broke, I sent them to Wilson and the were fixed and returned within 10 days, no questions asked. If you are looking for straight, solid, approach shots with a lower trajectory then these wilson irons are the answer. They are on the heavy side. It took some range work to make the switch from carbon fiber shafts. 3 iron through pitching wedge feel and hit alike. Big sweet spot if you need it. AWESOME IRONS. Cant get much forgiving than those. The shafts are the best. They feel very stable and not a hint of whippyness. These clubs can be for anybody who enjoys the best forgiveness from any game improvement club. Also the ball goes far and most importantly high. That high trajectory helps me hold the greens better. I was using a Graphite Shaft perviously and decided to change to steel shaft for better feel and distance. NO REGRETS after buying this set of beautiful irons. Even thin shots looked like a well stuck shot. And if I hit the sweet spot, boy.... what a feeling Similar Products Used: None |

I love my Fat Shaft irons..... I hit almost every shot straight and the correct distance. With my old irons I pushed everything to the right, but with the Wilsons I don't have that pproblem anymore. I went from a low 100's average round score to the low 90's in the first month including 2 rounds in the 80's. I love the Wilson Fat Shaft Irons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a difference! I haven't been playing golf that long, but I have shown a natural ability for the game. I was having trouble with the department store wilson 1200's I purchased from Sears. The biggest problem was that I am short 5 ft.6 in.tall.I kept hitting the ground with my standard length clubs. After talking to several people about the Fat shafts I finally demo'd them.I hit the ball staighter and farther. So I bought a set.I had them custom made.1/2 shorter & 2 degrees flat.It took about 1 round to get used to the shorter length. Now I'm really playing the game of golf.the biggest thing that I have noticed is how much higher my ball is getting.I am actually hitting greens and sticking with my 5 iron from 175 yards out.For me thats a big improvement.when I miss hit people can't tell because the ball goes strait.when I hit the sweet spot it's much sweeter than any club I've ever hit.[and I've demo'd a lot of clubs] I went from low 90's to low 80's defenately due to these clubs.I love them!.Buy them! Customer Service I ordered the clubs 2 weeks before Christmas. The guy at the golf store said it would take 3 to 6 weeks to recieve them.To the suprise of the salesman at the golf shop and especially myself the arived in just 9 days. Thanks for a merry Christmass Wilson! Great clubs for higher handicappers who lack consistency. Easy to hit and very forgiving, but thinned shots really vibrate your hands - especially when it's cold. Long irons inspire confidence but short irons a bit bulky. Good clubs but don't get the sand-wedge. Similar Products Used: Cleveland TA4, Callaway X12 |

WOW! If you half way think you might want these clubs - buy them! You know how it feels to put a good swing on the ball, but it goes to the right and short because you hit on the toe? Use these and forget those wimpy shots. Without question these are the best clubs I've ever used, and I've played for 35 years. With no practice I shot a 75 the first time out! Most forgiving, most accurate club out there. I would be surprised if any club ever feels as user friendly as these do. Forget about working the ball...straight, long, and on the pin is all you really want or need if you are'nt Tiger. Go demo some Fatshafts and see if you agree. They feel so good you will wonder if they are legal. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: There is nothing like them |

Amazing irons. Owned the firesoles and could find my control. Kept slicing the ball. So demoed the FS Platium and WOW, what a difference. Better control and straighter. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made Firesoles |
