Went to golf shop hoping to buy Mizuno's or Cleveland. I kinda laughed when the salesman asked me to try these clubs. But as soon as i hit these i knew they were for me. My slower swing suited them perfectly. No stung hands on miss-hits and nice feel. Just cos they're Top Flites doesnt mean you shoudnt give them a go. The components are just as good as any other club but they;re 1/2-1/4 of the price. Wicked clubs!!! Similar Products Used: Mizuno, Cleveland |

These irons are fantastic!! They are incredibly forgiving and have dramatically improved my game. I love the 10 iron. They are very easy to hit and so reliable. I got the graphite shaft....worth the extra $ This is the best driver there is on the market. I suggest this driver to any golfer. You will love it. After my fourth time using the XL2000's, today I shot a mind-bogling 87! My buddies couldn't believe how easy it looked! These irons are best suited for high and mid handicapers, very easy to hit high and with lots of accuracy for the money. One advice, just don't try to blast the ball - use 80% force and the irons will do the rest. For their price NOTHING even comes close, great buy+. Extremely easy to hit and with the BB irons you get a great sense of control and feel. Not the prettiest of clubs, but you wont hear me complaining. |

These sticks are just awsome. When first hit them, I found that I had actually lost 10-15 yards in distance. After using them a few times a got my distance back, but importantly I was hitting much straighter shots. The high irons are really easy to hit and the lower ones with a good balanced swing are just as easy. I highly recommend these irons to anyone who's looking for a quality set at a very reasonable price. They can be found on Ebay for under $170.00. Now I just need to find a driver that I can consitantly hit 300 yards with. I don't think this should be to difficult, since just about everyone in the (Driver review section) seems to avarage 300 with there driver. Customer Service na Similar Products Used: na |

Forget the price....these will replace the Niclaus VCG's and the Taylor Burner's immediately! Wish I had read the reviews here first. Better feel, distance and easier on my beat up hands and tendons. Customer Service Another great purchase experience on Ebay. 70 + with no problems. |

These XL2000's have received some of the best reviews I have read this past year. Not only on this review site but others as well. I just had to try them. When I first saw the larger sized heads I thought these irons would be too clumsy and would favor a high handicapper. Well, All I can say having just finished my first round with these Xl2000's is WOW! Simply the most accurate and forgiving set of irons I have ever experienced. I think I hit 15 of the 18 greens in regulation today. (just need to eliminate those damn 3 putts) My regular low to mid 80's round could soon be dropping. I really love my forged Hogan Edge Pros but for now I will continue using the Top Flites for a while before deciding which set to go with. It just goes to show you that you don't need to spend several hundred dollars on a quality set of irons to play qualtiy golf. Give the XL2000's a try. They are going for under $175 on Ebay right now. I like them so much I just purchased the GW, SW, and LW as well. Man, these are fun to use! Time for an update to my earlier post. I have now been playing these irons regularly for 1 month and am pleased to say that "shoots in the 90's" now comfortably applies. On a good day I can get into the mid-high 80's :-) There's no doubt in my mind that these clubs have helped to reduce my score by 6-10 strokes per round. Unfortunately, they don't swing by themselves so mis-hits happen however, they are remarkably forgiving and they help me to get away with a LOT of errors. I have recently purchased the lob wedge for this set. Another great club however it is very important NOT to hit the shot thin or you'll get more distance out of your pitch than you will from your drive - at least, that's what happened to me a couple of times:-( Get the shot right and bingo!, beatiful high ball flight with virtually no role at all. I didn't realise it at the time but my clubs don't have the standard grips. Mine came new with Lambkin Crossline's on them and I like these a lot better than the standard Top-Flite rubber items. I have been struggling with my woods lately so have been using the 3 iron from the tee on the long holes. I consistently get 180m or so on a 3/4 swing, arrow straight and can still reach par 5 greens in 3 comfortably. Works for me! The more I play with these irons, the happier I get. If you're a novice golfer and still struggling to come to grips with the game, get some of these babies. At that price (or cheaper), they're sensational value. Customer Service Haven't used and doubt I ever will. Similar Products Used: See earlier post. |

I don't usually write a review, but I'm too happy with this iron. It's the best so far. With the same swing pattern, the ball goes much straighter and further. Indeed, I'm getting rid of my Callaway VFT iron, even it's more expensive and sounds like a better brand name |

Bought these brand new regular steel babies on Ebay.com for $199 including shipping to Puerto Rico, best money spent on equipment so far! I've been consistently shooting in the very low 100's for almost 2 and a half months now and twice spiking mid 90's (started playing on August 20, 2002). After my fourth time using the XL2000's, today I shot a mind-bogling 87! My buddies couldn't believe how easy it looked! These irons are best suited for high and mid handicapers, very easy to hit high and with lots of accuracy for the money. I bought these clubs when they just came out by Dec 2000 and they are simply amazing. They are so light that you will notice that your clubhead speed and therefore your distance will increase drastically. I have tried Ben Hogans, Orlimars, Callaway Hawk Eyes, steelheads and others and there is nothing better to make you play better. I did lots of research before buying but the deciding factor was my desire to play better golf and that is guaranteed with these clubs. People said to me many times that these clubs won't allow to work the ball but, who is interested in workability if you are not consistent in hitting the ball. Thats why you have to think, first things first. Learn to do good contact and then, after a few years, you might want to try lower handicap clubs. The second best thing is their soft feel and this patented diamond cut sole. It is hard not to hit the ball solidly. Buy it, you won't regret. You will lower your scores, get lots of distance and a higher trajectory.
