Very Solid Club. Excellent consistancy in approach shots. Easy to use long irons. These irons make it easy to consistantly hit scores in the low 80's without much practice. Nice traditional blade look at address. The ball just keeps heading straight for the green as soon as you swing the club. Very pleased with my purchase.

After playing a while with my roommate's King Cobra II, I had to purchase my own clubs. Found them at great price at MVP.com, and having heard of the Top Flite Tour's reputation of being great clubs for money, took the plunge...
And I'm very glad I took the chance.
Now, if I had about 600-700, I probably would have gone for Ping i3, Callaway X14, or Mizuno CompEZ. But below 300 for new clubs, I don't think any other club comes close to matching the performance of these clubs.
They feel very solid on impact, with plenty of forgiveness.
Compared to King Cobra II's, the flush hits feel less "sweet", but I get more useful feedback from the club. They are also 1/2 club shorter than KC II's, but that's expected because Cobra always uses strong loft in their irons.
I had to make an adjustment in my address to the ball, and have to close the clubface slightly to send the ball straight down. But once I was dialed in for the club, it's been more predictable than the KC II.
I really like the look of the club at address. It has a very handsome clubface, and the topline is thin.
The backside of the club, which has the cavity & the muscle bar, also looks great... But I'm not very fond of the very LARGE club numbers on the sole & the very busy looking logo on the shafts. Those 2 things give these clubs a "value-oriented look" (aka "cheap").
So aside from the small complaint for the looks, I'm completely satisfied with these clubs & would recommend them to anyone who hit higher than 80, and have low budget.

I have played Callaways and Titleists in the past. These Tour Oversize clubs are very solid and easier to hit than Callaways. The long irons are the best part. I bought the Muscle shafts and am impressed with their consistency. These are best clubs I have played. If you can find a set, I suggest you give them a try.

While looking for my first quality set of irons, I tried Taylor Made, Ping i/3, Cleveland, and numerous less notable brands. I found that when compared to the sets in its actual price (not retail) range, this set was clearly better. When compared to the afformentioned brands, I could find little difference in comfort or performance. I didn't feel that I got as much service, though, as I may have with the higher priced clubs. There seemed to be little effort in fitting the clubs. This may speak more about the dealer than the clubs. Even still, the improvement in my shots seems to be mostly the result of these clubs. I have enjoyed every shot with them.

Just got these after reading reviews from this website. They are right, these clubs ARE the best kept secret. Everyone around here uses Wilson since they make them here, I let a few guys hit the TopFlite and they are searching the web looking for some now. Little heavy in the head, but I like that. Ball gets up easy, I get soooo much better distance and actually feel like I am a good golfer. Miss the sweetspot and you will still go towards target. Hit the sweetspot and nothing feels sweeter or looks better. Club Pro (a Wilson advocate) says TopFlite is getting out of club market and that is why so many good bargains exist out there. Got mine, graphite shafts, 3-PW for $300 on EBAY. Don't know if what he says is true, but is the best $300 I have spent on golf.

Mine were recently stolen, so this is sort of a farewell to my Top Flites:
Had the clubs 2 years (first set of good irons) They gave me a great deal of help transitioning from the 100's to the 90's. Solid feel with good distance. I am going to replace them with the Ping I-3's (easier to hit straight) but judging from the distance I got with the Pings, I will lose a few yards. Recommend the Rifle shafts over the true-temper steel.

I purchased my top flites from golfandtennisworld.com for $250. They feel better than any club I have hit before. Have your lie angle checked though, because I had to have my 6-pw bent 2 degrees to get to standard. Great clubs.

Customer Service

They are great. The website responded quicky when I requested my loft/lie angles.

Great clubs for the price.
I just started playing in August. My first two lessions were with a set of Northwestern Blades. I was able to hit the ball well, but my hands hurt. I went and got these irons at GolfUSA. I love these clubs. I can hit 3 Iron any where between 230 to 255 yds off the T. I recently started to work the ball and I can draw the ball from 3 Iron all the way to my 8 Iron. I tried other golf clubs to see if I was missing anything, but I didn't find any noticeable difference using more expensive clubs. I recently added Ping Eye2 1 and 2 Irons to my bag. And I think they will stay in my bag for a long time to come.
Go buy these clubs and you will be happy that you didnot spend an arm and a leg to hit good golf shots. Use the extra money for lessions. In the long run it's better that way. :-)

This is probably the only quality iron set you can get for $250. Excellent for beginners like me. They took a while to get used to because I've been using my friend's Super Steels with graphite. They are heavier than the Taylor Mades so I can't hit them as far, but I can hit them more accurately and consistently. Overall I am very satisfied with this buy.
