I'd been checking the comparative reviews online, and liked the Tours as being high quality at much lower cost than Pings and Callaways. This set was the last the pro shop had, so I offered the Web price and they took it--and threw muscle graphite shafts in to boot!
I love the feel of them. I, too, am hitting about a club or more less than my 17-year-old blades. Good height, and a lot of forgiveness (which I need more often than not).
After my first round Sunday, I feel they were well worth the money, and the three fellows I met on the course thought so, too.
Older golfers get the most out of the graphite, which gives the clubs the whip our muscles no longer have.

Best golf purchase I've ever made. Shafts were shorter than my old Cobra's and took some adjusting. Starting to really work the ball more but generally laser beams, especially the mid and long irons. Only problem I have are is the pitching wedge. Not the greatest feel and the ball really jumps off. Overall I'm 1/2 club longer.

Since I´m new to golf it´s hard for me to give a neutral summary, theese are after all my first set of clubs.

I was searching for a quality set that didn´t blow my economy apart. I found this top flite set..at the driving range I brought top flight, golden bear, tumba and som other minor brands. To be honest Top-flite felt very best. You could miss the sweetspot and make the ball fly anyways, amazing feeling.

They are easy to play with and has a great feel. If I was you I would buy theese clubs.

I've been playing with really old Spalding muscle backs for as long as I can remember. When everyone jumped onto the cavity back wagon, I figured that I'd stay with my old clubs since the only new clubs that I did like would cost "an arm and a leg" to purchase. Well I finally found a set that just feels so damn good and only cost $299 at the local golf store. You can even purchase it for less over the internet. Top Flite Tour Oversize with True Temper Advanced steel. My first time using them was on the course and I went from a 90's to an 80's golfer. Need I say more? My buddies all have Armours, Taylors, and Callaways (graphite) but, I can rip my 3-PW over 10 yards more than they could. Very forgiving, huge sweetspot, and the kind of impressive distance that would make most pros turn red. These clubs are NOT the lightest combined with the steel shafts but, if you complain that they're too heavy than maybe you should consider a women's set!

This is the best club for the price. I replaced a set of Power Built Levelum blades with these a few years ago and went from the 100s to 78-83 with them. Now I am back up there again, but it's because of lack of practice and my drive lately. They are very forgiving and accurate. The only other clubs I would consider in this price range be 845s or Ping Eye 2s. I tried the Cobras and they were just too forgiving lol, everything went straight no matter where I hit the club face. With the Top flights, I was hitting a nice Draw. I am going to be getting a set of Ping I3 O-size next week. This might be that little bit of extra accuracy I have been needing. Overall the Top Flights have been really good to me.

Very easy iron to play. I have been struggling with my swing recently, and I thought a change in clubs might inspire me to practice more. As a man on a budget I narrowed my selection to clubs that be had for $300 or less at this time. I demoed Taylor Made Burner Bubble OS, Hogan Edge GCD, and Top Flite Tour OS. My current irons are Callaway BB w/ RCH 96 reg flex shafts. I have to admit that the iron I least wanted to like out of this group of clubs was the Top-Flite, the clubs are not anything to look at, and I associate Spalding with those cheap sweat suits you buy at K-Mart. Guess what... the most solid and forgiving iron I hit was the Top Flite. Distance was comparable to my BB's, and the appearance of the traditional top line of the Top Flite is far more preferable to the thick top line of the Callaway's. Feedback was exceptional, offcenter strikes hel their line fairly well. As a bonus, after two days of comparing clubs, my swing is starting to groove again. Clubs can be had new for $270 in steel, a great value.

I bought these irons about 3 weeks ago and already they are drastically improving my game. I have been on the coruse three times in the last 3 weeks and already I'm shooting personal bests. 80, 81, and a personal best 78! They are the best irons I have ever hit. I am hitting it straight regardless of where on the face I hit it. And for $250 a set, you can't go wrong! I absolutely love them!

An impressive set of irons. Very dependable and accurate. I have these with the True Temper *Advanced Flex* shaft and they dampen shock very well. These clubs have excellent feedback; you know when you flush it or mis-hit it the instant the club face hits the ball. The ball trajectory is just right; not too high and not too low. If you're a mid handicapper trying to get into the single digits, go try these out before they are all gone. You can get yourself a very good price on these at Mercata.com or golfandtennisworld.com.

I have only played these once since I got them and I can't believe what they've already done for me. In my first round with them, I had a personal best. Their size helps to give you confidence every time you step up to the ball. I think they are the best value on the market today, especially for people looking to step up from a beginner's set without going all out and spending a ton of money. I love these clubs!
