I was very happy with my purchase. I have been playing with a set of Echelon irons, knockoffs of the old Cobra II irons. However since my game improved, I needed a new set. Since I have picked up the Tour Irons, I have easily cut 10 strokes off my play and I'm flirting at breaking 90. The clubs are very consistant. However I wish I could find the gap and sand wedge to complete my set. Customer Service Non Similar Products Used: Cleveland Irons, Ping I3, Wilson Fat Shaft |

These irons are really everything everyone says about them. Exceptional value for an exceptional club. Very forgiving. I just inherited a set of taylor irons and need to sell my top-flight irons. I will let them go for $199. These clubs are brand new, used only one time. Most of the clubs were never hit. Can e-mail pictures. Will ship in original packaging. Let me know if you are interested. I HAD PLAYED AT A 25 HCP. FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS. IN THE LAST YEAR OR SO I HAVE FOUND MYSELF PLAYING 5 TO 6 TIMES A MONTH. I FELT MY GAME IMPROVING, SO I SET OUT TO BUY SOME NEW IRONS. I HIT DOZENS OF NAME BRAND IRONS, BUT NARROWED IT DOWN TO THE WILSON FAT SHAFT IRONS, AND THE TOP-FLITE TOUR OVER-SIZED IRONS. I FOUND THE TOP-FLITE OVERSIZED IRONS HAD A GREATER 'SWEET SPOT' THAN ANY OTHER IRON. I AM NOW DOWN TO A 14 HCP. THANKS TO MY 'IRON PLAY'. THANK YOU TOP-FLITE FOR PRODUCING AN AFFORDABLE, QUALITY IRON-SET. Similar Products Used: WILSON 'FAT-SHAFT' |

All I can say about these clubs are WOW. Being relativly new to golf , I started last summer I have been looks for a good set of Irons that would play well and last for a good period of time. Well I found that and everything else I wanted. I have played all my friends clubs, Taylor mades, Ping I 3's and others and these clubs are much better than those. It is true that you wil get about another club in distance by hitting these. These clubs are great and they will go straight even if you don't hit the center. It is also very easy to work these clubs because I ahven't done that before but I can do it with these. Bottom line is get these clubs if you are starting out or have been playing for a long time. They are just the best. With a price of 299 from Dicks sporting goods you can't go wrong. Hurry up they did not have many sets left. go get them, they are the best Customer Service The site was great and I had no problem with my order. They even shipped it ahead of time and It got to my house much earlier than I expected Similar Products Used: Taylor made, Ping I 3's. Most Irons from 500-1000 dollars |

Great Irons. I've been using my faithful first set, TourModel II, for some years, and w/ the Top-Flite Tour Oversize, its MUCH easier to get a great shot off. Nice crushing feel, and definitely further (clubbing down from my previous set is a must). Very straight, and great trajectory on shots. When I've lost the confidence in my driver, I tee off w/ the 3-iron, its a good 230-240 on the fairway. What an awesome buy! The Burner SuperSteels are nice too, but for a good price more. Similar price issue w/ the TA-5's. Similar Products Used: TourModel II |

After purchasing these irons i immediately found consistinty in my gold shots. I went from shooting in the 100's to the the 90's. Even if you hit an offcentered shot it still goes pretty straight. These are great clubs for the price, and great for beginners looking for distance and accuracy.2 Customer Service none Similar Products Used: Ping, Taylor Made,Callaway, and Titleist |

TF Tour - Original
Folks - there are *many* different models that make up the what Top-Flight marketed as their Tour irons. The midsize looks awful, there are at least three separate versions of the normal Tour, there was the Pro Grind, there was a version that was from Spalding, and then there are multiple shafts that have been sold in these things. Here's what I can tell you from personal experience... I have a set with minimal offset, smallish heads, dynamic gold S300 shafts, and true lofts - that is a PW w/48*. From what I can discern they were made near '96. Many manufacturers, including Top-Flite, jack up the loft on the clubs they sell to high handicappers so it seems as if you've found more distance. That's not the case with these. So what's the bottom line? These clubs are forgiving, workable, and provide appropriate feedback for a game improvement club. They're a touch on the dead side for feel, but when you can hit a 4-iron dead straight you may not care. Incidentally I've found the strong suit of this set is the mid irons (5-8). The long irons are ok, but I have played better and I don't use the shorter irons - Cleveland RTGs instead. Don't get me wrong, I've been trying unsuccessfully for three years to get these clubs out of my bag but keep coming back. They work and the ball flight is controllable. If you've played some of the other versions and hated 'em, well I can understand. If you played the graphite shafts I can understand. If you played the hunk of cheese midsize, I can understand. If you played the model I have then I can't. They're just darn good clubs. The problem is they made so many variations with the same name that the reviews are going to be confusing. Hope this helps... Customer Service Very friendly. Similar Products Used: Ping Eye 2, TM LCG, MacGregor Forged PCB Tours, etc. |
