What can I say, that has not been already mentioned about these great clubs. I've played to a fairly high level for 25 years now, and have always had cast irons. After 2 months of demo's I decided on the 690's. It came down to these vs. the Cleveland TA7's which are also great clubs. I just found that the 690's had the best look and feel of any iron I have ever hit. My ball has a more boring flight compared to my 3 year old Taylor Made Firesoles that I traded in. The Taylors were more forgiving, but that's not what I'm after. I highly recommend these irons to anyone that can put a good move on the ball. They should be fine for anyone that shoots in the mid 80's or better. They are not a game improvement club, but they are way easier to hit than a true blade. I was so impressed with these, that I traded my Cleveland RTG wedges for the new Titleist Vokey Oil Can series that are replacing the RAW series. My price is after trade in.

Love the clubs generally. A little higher than expected ball flight. My experience with the distance is less than the Hogans Apex. Takes a little while to get used to but they're coming along nicely

Customer Service

I could not undersatnd why Titleist would not make my clubs one inch over and 3 degrees upright. They said their limit was one half inch over and 2 degrees upright. I was not happy with that. remedy...I removed the heads and moved each club one shaft down (3 iron becomes 4 iron etc)

All i can say is, amazing!!! These clubs are really beauties. I have been in the market for well over the last 6 months and I tried EVERYTHING out there. I hit demo sets as often as I could. If i could not get a demo set, I had the sales reps tape them up. Please believe me when I say, I tried everything. The golf stores in my area all knew me on a first name basis. I purchased these sticks two days before going to Tampa for a golf vacation. We played 6 rounds of golf over four days. They are simply awesome. The feel is second to none!!! They are so sweet. I previously played Revolution's (black) and really love those clubs. I was so impressed with the 690CB ease of hitting through the turf. I have a very aggressive swing and these clubs slowed me down to the point where i played better with each passing round. Once i found my grove I shot in the 70's the last three rounds. I did not want to leave the golf course. If you have stuck with me through this long review, do yourself a favor and go out and get a set of these. You better hurry as they are in limited quantaties and hard to find. Many thanks to Steve at the store who spent the time to dial in every club. These are customed made for my swing. Love the stock DG-S300 shafts. The ball flight is perfect and distance is right on. Mis-hits felt ok although you knew when it happened. That is what all good players want. I do not want my mis-hits to feel solid. It makes you lazy. These clubs are for any golfer seeking the best in feel, looks, and perfomance. Be aware, they are NOT game improvement irons. If this is what you are after, look elsewhere. These clubs are for the serious player who can put a good move on the golf ball. If this is you, you will be rewarded time and time again. I simply can not wait to get back on the golf course. I will have these clubs for a long, long time. By the way, I received more compliments on these clubs over the 4 days in Tampa. Everybody who sees these clubs wants to get them. They ask if they can just hold one. It really is amazing. It's unlike anything I have experienced before. Titleist has a real winner in these sticks.

Customer Service

There is no better than Titleist. They actually care!!! Imagine that. A company who cares about their customers.

These are good clubs, but after trying and switching to the 690 MB I found the 690CB lacking .The 690 CB lack in feel, the accuracy was ok as along with distance. They reminded me like 990 in looks and distance. The 690 CB are good clubs, but I would have to give the edge to 690MB.

I lost interest in the game 10 years ago when I was a low handicapper and used traditional 92 tour blades. Recently I've got hooked on the game again and found my trusty ol' 92 blades weren't forgiving enough. Anyway set my heart on the Taylor Made 300/360 (can't remember which now) and went to the driving range to try them out. While there, the pro made me try the Titleist 690 CBs - They are awesome. The Titleist 690CBs are very forgiving. Sure you don't get the same distance if you hit off-centre but what do you expect. Instead off-centre hits tend to be quite straight and still get pretty good distance (say drop 5% distance). The Titleist 92 blades would be unlikely to stay straight and would drop between 15-20% distance. Not only that the feel of the Titleist 690CBs is sweet. Crisp hits, good trajectory and whistles through wind (ball more affected with blades). Working the ball couldn't be easier whether left to right or right to left and being forged the ball screams to a halt on the green. These are the best I've tried - If only I could stop using my driver I might save a few shots!!

These are some of the finest ironss I have ever played. Previously, I used Maxfli Revolutions and I thought they were fantastic clubs, but when a used set of these came up for $600 (only played 1 round), I had no choice. They only thing I wished that Titleist did is to put a little more muscle on the club ala Hogans or the new Mizuno MP-30. Just to get the ball flight down a little cos I hit it way high. Other than that, they look and feel great, and the sole design really cuts through the turf like nothing I've ever tried. SWEET.

WOW. Words do not justify these clubs. I am extremely picky when it comes to my clubs and am oftern changing them, But these are the first set of irons I can honestly say look perfect. They play pretty darn well also. The sole looks like its been designed specially to glide effortlessly through the grass(which they do)and feel superb. Who needs blades? The only bad point I can find are the grips. I'v never rated titleist grip however and always new i'd be changing them. Lamkin's for me. Some people say they're very expensive but when you see and hit them money becomes no option.

Customer Service

Titleist has the best customer service you could hope for. I have never used them with my irons but they have replaced bags and drivers for me without question.

I'm just starting the PGA teaching program and needed a iron that was a little more forgiving than my Mizuno MP-29. These are very nice and easy to hit irons. All shots are available with these great sticks. I have the DG X-100 shaft and it is a great match with these irons. I really think these irons are good for anyone wanting to improve their game. The long irons are very easy to hit and the short irons are target seeking. Titleist has a great iron with the 690CB

excellent clubs - I have 2-PW with X-100 shafts and they hit like a dream, I am somewhat old-school when it comes to golf (I still drag out my persimmon driver every once in a while in place of my great big bertha!), but these clubs are the best of both worlds - awesome feel of a quality forging (however, not quite as soft as my old palmer peerless forged muscle backs) with the forgiveness of a player's cavity back. Additionally, I am hitting a good club longer with these. Can't wait to hit the course as they have only been struck at the range.....fairways and greens to all....

best irons I have ever hit. I paid extra to get the tour flighted rifle shafts. The best looking and performing irons I have ever hit. I would suggest them for most players. I would have paid double to get irons that perform like this. Fantastic at cutting thru the rough. I love these sticks.
