I started playing in November 2000 with a set of rather old secondhand Petrons. The best I'd managed to achieve was 108 by June 2001, at which time I had a go with my Father's Cobra o'size clubs and decided instantly to get some new irons. I tried out a lot of different clubs, including Cobra and Mizuno, and decided on the Taylor Mades. What can I say, fantastic, just broke the 100 for the first time with a 92! Not bad considering I haven't got any woods in my bag. These irons are very forgiving, hit very straight and very long - 200 yards + with the 4 iron. I would definitely recommend these irons to anyone looking to lower their score.

I've had these irons for about a month and love them. I'm a lefty that shoots in the low 90s. The forgiveness is such a plus. Even when I don't hit the ball perfectly, the ball still gets there. I am also hitting the ball straighter than I ever had. You can't beat this club's price or performance.

These irons are just unreal. I've started golf eight months ago and I've found golf a very fun for beginers with these irons. I really like the long irons, unfortunately I didn't buy 3iron. These are a little heavy for small people, but they give good results. Balls go straight up in the air most of the time. However I don't like the sandwedge so I decided to change to Cleveland 588. Overall, they're good for all level of golfers.

Tried the TA5's, 845's, firesole and the Supersteel in Steel stiff shaft. For me the TM ss's were the only way to go. Easy to hit, excellent distance and forgiveness. GW is sold out of these but are still in stock for 375 at golfequipmentcloseouts.com Trust me you wont go wrong!!!

I tried these out and countless others at a proshop. I like the way they felt and also like the grooves going further than most out to the toe. I wasnt sure if i should grab these but a good deal at auction at E-bay was to good to miss. (saved abotu 150.00 dollars at the time) I was eager to try them out at the range. After all that can be said the big word for these suckers is ....
FORGIVING!!! Ive never been so happy watching my misshits or those pesky fat shots not kill me. I was playing some Lynx Black cats before these and theres no comparison. The SuperSteels are perfect for a duffer like me. If you love to be forgiven these are the best Ive played. Right now they are in closeout stages so they may be getting even cheaper!!

I'm not going to claim to know a lot about golf clubs. I wanted to buy a set of intermediate clubs because my old set was worn out. From the first time I swung these clubs I loved them. My second round I shot 41, previous best 43 when I was golfing every day. Up to now I never hit a 5 iron 200+ yards, never putted for eagle, now I'm frequently on in regulation. These clubs are the best thing that ever happen to my game. I have been hitting a bucket almost every day to devope consistancy in my swing. For the most part my distance is very consistant but every now and then you have one of those swings and hit an 8 iron 180. As long as I keep hitting it straight I can deal with the exceptions without ruining my round. Up till now pars were like birdie's now I frequently par holes and get several birdie's on par 5's. I'm going to need to get alot better before I out grow the usefullness of these clubs. I even pulled out my old set again to see if it's the swing or club NO COMPARISON

I wrote about these clubs 2 or 3 weeks ago when i first got them. I loved them then and I love them now. They have improved my game tremendously. I have been playing alot lately (4-6 times a week) and have been getting alot of use out of them. Flush shots feel great, and if you hit a bad one, trust me, you'll know. These clubs get the ball in the air quick and has great distance. Playing with these, I have noticed that there is only one way to hit these...GRIP IT AND RIP IT! Beautiful club.

I got these about a month ago after trying every club I could get my hands on. While they were not the very best clubs I tried, the price/performance makes them BY FAR the best value club for me. I lost abot a club length with the short irons, but being able to hit a 3 iron straight and 215yds more than makes up for the decrease. I now feel very confident about being able to use the whole bag, and the result has been three consecutive low-eighties rounds my last three times out. I'm demoing the SuperSteel 250 Driver (9.5, S90 Bubble Shaft), and it appears to be another great value performer. All things considered, these are a better price than Callaway, Adams or Titleist, and are more consistent than T. Armours, Mizunos, or many of the others. Try 'em if you're looking for value in an intermediate game improvement club. The only others in the same price bracket that I would compare them to are the Cobra CXI, and I thought the TM's were more forgiving, with the Cobra's being a little longer.

After several months of trying out clubs, I was all set to buy Cobra Gravity backs when the sales manager mentioned he had the new Supersteels in. I tried them and bought them on the spot, R-80 Rifle Shafts. I am easily hitting 15 yards farther and straighter than my older perimeter weighted clubs. The ball really rockets off the face and gives good feedback. I shot a 92, my 2nd best round ever, the 2nd day out in Myrtle Beach last week. A good price for a great set of clubs. I even bought the Sand and Attack wedges to go with the set, liked them better than the Cleveland and Pure spins I had tested. Very nice grips as well.
