If you want to get more confidence in your game then don't get these irons. The shots were on a low and very boring trajectory. They are very long and quite forgiving though. If you want to take your game to the next level then look elsewhere and don't buy these clubs. I feel that the mizuno Comp-EZ is a better bet. The short irons are rubbish- there is so much sole that most of the time you end up thinning your shots. As for the long irons - i am a bit more pleased with them. Outstanding irons. Easy to get the ball up, and one club longer than any of my previous irons. My only problem is with the TM velvet grips. They slip!!! Regripped with Lamkins, so we'll see. Did I mention LONG? Drove a 202 yard green with a 5-iron. Should have hit a 6. Similar Products Used: Dunlop "No Problem" ($95 at Walmart, Excellent backup clubs), Dunlop Quattro Pro |

I experienced my first game with my new Supersteel Irons this past Sunday. I had tried them out for two days on the range and once on the course, I cannot say enough to describe my elation. They were very forgiving and I was able to get the ball up on shots that I had never been able to make before. My distance increased immensely. Have been using a Wilson Pro Staff set for years and thinking of upgrading as my brother is going to take over my old set. Went to Golf Town (a huge golf shop in Toronto) with him and show him what I want (Callaway X-14 Graphite - $1399 CAD), way too expensive for me. Beside the Callaway rack is the Supersteel for $775 CAD, almost half the price. Of course, this one is a steel shaft but at least I can choose the flex with this one compare to the Uni-flex on the Callaway. Picked both of them up and went to the golf simulation room...wow, I hit much better with the Supersteel. Ball travel a little further and much easier to lift them up. (I guess it is because of the lower centre of gravity design.) BTW, the grip on the Taylor Made is second to none. As a result, I got this one and saved some money. :-) Similar Products Used: Wilson Pro Staff, Wilson Fat Shaft, Callaway X-14 |

After hitting many demo models and reading many reviews, I bought the SuperSteel irons. I am very pleased with them! I had a hard time deciding between the T-M's and the Titleist 981's. They both are great clubs. I get 1/2 club more distance with the T-M's when I catch the sweet spot. These are really nice!!! Similar Products Used: Callaway, Titleist, Wilson |

I wasn't hitting the irons well with my Mizuno Pro Forged II. With Mizuno I end up trying out different shots with too much wrist action. With Supersteel, just raise the club and hit it gradaully increasing the down swing then you get a nice high draw. Even from the bad lie I hit 3 iron dead straight with good distance. If you want to improve your score, this club is for you. I also like the hitting sound at impact. It sounds like all the energy is transferred to the ball. By slightly hitting down using the bottom few grroves on the club head, you get pro like boring trajectory. It easy to do with this club. Similar Products Used: Cobra Cavity Back, Callaway X-14 |

Loved the irons on the range until I hit the course and determined that distance control is not very good with these clubs. Supersteels are 1 club short than Callaway Big Bertha and Titleist 981's. Switching back! Similar Products Used: None |

These are some of the best irons I have ever hit (in my 2 years)... the ball really gets up, and I've gotten at least 5 more yards on every club. Great set, really like the TM Grips. Similar Products Used: Callaway X-12, Armour EVO-31, King Cobra II |

The SuperSteel Irons 3-PW, are an astounding 50% stronger than traditional steel irons. This allows them to create up to a 20% thinner club face and a lower center of gravity than the LCG's. They generate more forgiveness and control, as well as optimal weight didtribution behind the sweet spot for commending power and a responsive feel at impact. They aren't as good as the Ben Hogan Apex Plus, but their still good. Similar Products Used: Ben Hogan Apex Plus |
