First of all let me state that during my search for the perfect set of clubs my game has suffered. I should be shooting in the high 80's but now struggle in the low 90's. During the last year I have tried all of the sets below and have decided on the Taylor Mades. For me these are the reasons why: 1. Great feel - I found that smooth as butter feeling more often with the TM OS. 2. Workability - I am not the best golfer in the world but can draw and fade shots.SOMETIMES NOT ON PURPOSE.LOL.. It was easier for me with the TAYLORMADE OS. I could not do this very well at all with the X-12 OR X-14'S. 3. The Rifle shaft. GREAT SHAFT !!!. THE 95 GRAM WEIGHT- SPEEDS UP MY SWING SPEED.BOTTOM LINE MORE DISTANCE. ABOUT 5-10 YARDS MORE PER CLUB.. 4. PROGRESSIVE offset is great and sufficient enough on the longer irons to provide that "game improvement" quality. 5.) I GOT A HELL OF A DEAL ON THEM ..... Please remember this is just my opinion! I have spent lots of money getting to this point. (Thank God for ebay) Customer Service: Have not had to use.

Since trying and buying these clubs I have been able to hit all my iron shots dead straight. Before I was a consistant fader of the golf ball. Love the way they look. They are easy on the arms. Added one club up from my previous set of irons on each shot. Only problem noted is they are easily nicked and scratched.

I have been looking for a set of new Irons for the past few months.I have tried, amoungst others, Deep Red irons the new Hogan Edge CFT/Hogan Pro Edge irons. In my opinion the RAC's are by far the best, the are extremely long and forgiving with a soft feel at impact. The ball flight is high with plenty of stop, and is, when combined with the Pro v ball a powerful combination. The only negative comment I can make is that the grips are very poor in wet conditions,I will cure this soon when I change to victory half corded grips. Even though the are marketed towards the high handicap player they would suit players of all levels.I have been a single figure golfer for over 25 years and feel that these are the best irons I have ever hit.

While on the driving range with my knock-off clubs, a good friend of mine let me try out the taylormade rac os with steel shafts about 1/2 inch longer than standard. The distance and trajectory I got from these irons was phoenomenal. They are very forgiving and it seemed as though I hit the "sweet spot" almost everytime. I immediately bought a set, including the driver and three wood, and noticed a big difference in my game. I shaved 7 to 8 strokes off my game in an instant. On one par 3, measuring 215 yds, I used a 6 iron and was 20 feet from the hole. My only problem with these irons is distance control. They hit a lot further than any other iron I have used, so I tend to use a club less or throttle back a bit. With practice though they will be perfect.

I used to shoot in the mid to high 90s. I was using irons for lower handicapped players and decided to make a change. Choosed the OS over the X-16s because of feel. "to each his own" but the ball came off the OSs better than the X-16s. I was even ready to by the X's because of hype and success my friend had w/the X-14s. Forgiveness, distance and accuracy is what you will achieve w/ these clubs. These clubs, however, are for the high handicappers looking to improve their game. i am hitting in the mid to high 80s w/ these irons and grow in confidence every time i play. My putter is the same and so are my woods. If you are a high handicapper looking to lower your score- definitely consider TM OS.

I have been with Taylormade for years with their drivers. And I am now in the market for a new set of irons. I currently use Ping Eye 2 (black) and loved the way these new RAC OS's looked. So I took a set out for a demo round over the weekend. The first hti with the iron goes sharply to the right. The next teh same. I adjust my grip a bit, same result, although not as far right. I haven't hit a club this poorly in years. I finally make a few more more adjustments and am able to get the ball to go straight. But that is about all I can do. I was not really able to work the club like I can with my Ping's. Not sure if others have experienced similar results. I am shoot in the high 80's and want to take my game to the next level, these clubs do not seem to fit the bill. I am also considering the Cleveland TA7s. Will be trying those out this weekend. Anyone have any feedback for me here on the RAC OS? How do the RAC LTs play by comparison?

Accurate, forgiving and Looong. I have the set with the rescue mids and 5-PW. They add to my confidence which equals lower scores. They are having an immediate impact on my game but also unlike "Game Improvement Clubs" I feel as my game improves I will not "Outgrow" these clubs. Yeah they are not the cheapest clubs but you get what you pay for. Bottom Line: I LOVE THESE CLUBS.

Customer Service

I have not used the TM customer Service. But I have to give 2 big thumbs up to Pro Golf Discount. I originally purchased other clubs and was less than impressed. They traded me for the TMs no questions no hassles.

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made RAC OS + 3&4 Rescue Mid

Bought these clubs on eBay a few weeks ago. The second round of golf I played with these clubs was 11 strokes better than my previous best round!!! These irons are very easy to hit and extremely forgiving on off-center hits. I decided to get the combo set with the 3 and 4 Rescue Mid utility clubs instead of the 3 and 4 iron. The rescue clubs are fantastic. Great to hit off the tee as well as from the fairway and semi-rough. The set is a bit more expensive with the rescue clubs but worth every penny. Taylor Made has done it again!!!

I'm 16 and 6'2. I am taller and I got these clubs 1/2 an inch longer, which helps alot... anyways, these are great feeling clubs, although on mis-hits they tend to have bad vibration characteristics...the trajectory is great, they land very softly. The feel that comes with contact from the sweetspot is very solid and satisfying. as for distance, it all depends on how hard you're swinging and what shafts you have.(I have the Steel stock shaft in regular)

These clubs look great at address they give so much confidence and are very easy to use I also found I could hit them further than my TM 320 irons. But when I first used these on my local course I too found they draw very easily, too easily, but I stuck with them and made a few adjustments to my swing and have found the clubs very rewarding even on miss hits!My clubs came in steel reg ultralight shafts I reckon with stiff shafts the draws would have been harder to control. In a nutshell stick with these clubs because when you work out how to use them they are awsome.
