Just came back from my first round with these clubs..am more than satisfied..easy to swing, confident address, perfect graphite weighting for me, and smooth feel when struck well, which happens more often than my previous set- the new r7-cgb Taylor Mades--I just could not get used to the ''clicky" sound AND hollow clicky feel when hit well, and boy did I try,- also they were just TOO light at 55 gm. graphite..the OS 2 set is perfectly balanced and you immediately know without looking that you have hit a good shot ,and that makes you more confident, less hesitant at address, and most important, puts the fun and pleasure back in the game...this is my second go around with these clubs , and I never should have left them, kind of like a good woman!

WOW... 10 shot improvement on my first round!!! Even mis-hits go pretty straight. They hit really well out of poor lies too.
I didn't get a chance to hit them on the range b4 my first round with them due to poor weather. I flew two greens in the first round playing with these, I was choosing the club to hit based on what I would have hit with my 855's, so I was actually gaining a full clubs distance. These clubs are great. If you are thinking about these clubs...definately give these a try :)

This is my first ever "NEW" set & I love these clubs. I hit the ball further & straighter than I ever have. My accuracy has improved dramatically. I am hitting more GIR's than ever before which means I am putting for bird's more often. However, I am an average putter so I am not making but one or two birds per round.

Got fitted for these clubs about a month ago. I've play about 4 rounds with them, been on the range about 3 times a week, and even got a lesson. I love the feel and control I have with these irons. I'm able to hit 5 through the Gap Wedge with a great deal of consistency. The 4 iron hasn't come around yet, but I'm working on it. Like many of the reviews state, the trajectory with these irons is quite high. A very good club for the high handicapper. I'm getting between 5 to 10 yards extra distance with these clubs and most of my are straight or a slight draw.(I never hit draws before.) Most reviews state that these aren't good clubs around the greens. I disagree. They've been great from 60 yards in for me. The pitching and gap wedge both make for high approach shots that land softly and stick. These clubs look great, feel great and are well made. No buyers remorse here. Highly recommend these clubs. Also, these clubs are a great value. $530 after tax for a set of well made, fitted clubs is nothing to sneeze at.

Customer Service

Shopping at Golfsmith is a bit of an addiction for me. They provided great service during the fitting process for these irons in particular. Never had any problems working with them in the past. Haven't had to use Taylor Mades customer service in the past, but my new clubs arrived at the store within a week and in great condition.

My old clubs were Cobra Gravitybacks. I was going to go with the Cobra 3100's. I tested them and they felt great, but like the Taylor Mades a bit better. I also tested the new Big Bertha's and the Cleveland Laucher's.

Well, I just got these to replace my aged 855's. I narrowed the choices down to the X-16's, I/H 3100, and the rac OS2's. I do not hit a large looking clubhead very well. Yes, the way it looks at address is 50% of the shot - so that tookthe x-16s out, I hit one good shot out of 12 or so balls. between the racs and the cobra's. It ended up the racs winning out. the rac's felt a bit better then the 3100's. The 3100 are a good club, but the rac's have an edge over them. Once I play more with them I'll update the review. From early on, the rac's are a 8.5-9/10. Go hit em side by side with the other irons you are thinking about and you will the difference with these clubs. If you aren't good enough to be hitting forged clubs, get these!!!

Picked up (at Golftown for $598 Canadian) the steel shaft regular flex model to replace my 4 year old TM 200 Series irons. To be honest, I didn't think they would make that big a difference, I just wanted new irons :).

Boy was I wrong. These clubs launch the ball high and straight. They also go about 5-10 yeard more than my 200s. Mis-hits have a tendency to go straight. When my slice rears its ugly head, these clubs lessen its severity. There's no vibration that travels up the shaft when you hit the ball which gives it a nice feeling. The light steel shaft is noticeably lighter than my old irons and will probably work well for those with an average swing speed wanting a lighter shaft but not wanting to make a switch to graphite. Anyone looking for a new set of game improvement irons must give these a try!

I've been out of the game for the last 5yrs or so whilst at uni, but decided to get a set of clubs and pick it up again. I tested these at my local American Golf Discount store, along with the Callaway X-18 irons. First 5 shots with a 7 iron went dead straight between 150-190yrds. Same with the Callaways. I hit another 20 balls or so with each club, with the same results. The local pro then came in and chatted for a few minutes - when I went back to the Callaways I was hitting them off the toe, the heel everywhere but dead centre. I hit another 10 with the Taylor made and carried on with the high, straight shots. I also found the RACs to feel a lot nicer as they strike the ball and not feel quite so heavy. In the end the 3-PW + bag for £375 swayed it for the Taylor Made set.

On the course: I played a round two days after purchase - promptly shooting a 12 on the first hole. This was down to me freaking out at being on a golf course for the first time in years and not the clubs! I then pulled it back with 3 pars and finished in 101 over 18, (according to the BBC it was also a 22mph wind that day). Not bad considering that was a better round for me when I jacked in playing previously! The 4 and 5 irons go straight and high off the tee as well as the fairway and the 7 is excellent for getting out of trouble as well as little chips around the green.

I can't say enough good things about these clubs.

Outstanding game improvement irons. Set up beautifully at address instilling confidence. If you are a slicer/pusher, these irons will straighten you out. But if you are a drawer/puller like me, they will require some getting used to as the will go hard left on you. Simply adjusting target line is an easy enough fix. Hard to hit knock downs or low fades due to the low CG and offset respectively, but small price to pay for a club that gets you to the green. Awesome off the tee, especially the mid and long irons. Even put away my hybrids because the 3 and 4 are so easy to hit.

These clubs are great, very forgiving, they fly a mile. I can hit 'em anywhere: off the tee, bunker, fairway, light-heavy rough, even dead-rock-hard-brown grass. I have never been able to hit a 3 iron off the fairway, so i try not to use it at all. But, these clubs are completely different. A few days ago a stuck a 8 iron 3 feet from the hole, my friends said it was just luck so i hit another one, 4 feet from the hole.

Purchased for $399 from Golf Galaxy, they matched rockbottomgolf.com's sale price (a steal if you ask me) and fitted me also. Can't say enough good things about Golf Galaxy. Played my first round with the OS2 irons today and was very pleased with the feel and response. The high trajectory reviews are accurate. I found that the best shots came from easy swings....not trying to kill the ball. I'd say at $399 these irons have got to be the best value in golf.
