Taylor Made OS2 Irons
These Irons are the best thing to ever happen to my game. I have been a weekend warrior for over a decade never being able to hit iron shots and never coming close to scoring under a hundred. After having these clubs for 2 months I was able to put a ball 3 feet from the pin from 175 yds out using a 6 iron. The rac 2's have also lowered my overall score by 10 strokes and once I figure out my driver (not rac 2's fault) I will be a 10-15 handicap in no time.

I started playing golf at 16...stopped at 19...re-started this year. I just turned 40. The clubs I played with then I used when re-starting...sad I know. I decided to step up to TaylorMade after several trips to my local pro shop. Made the purchase from reviews alone as I had never held the OS2's personally. The price was right and once receiving the clubs, I have played two rounds and made several driving range trips. As far as my game goes, the course I am playing on is still fairly new and quite hard. I played a few rounds with the old clubs and was not bad but not great. With the OS2's, shots got better with less slicing...definately noticeable improvement. On the driving range, I get very accurate and consistent shot placement. I even over-swung the club a few times with a 5 iron and all shots went long and straight. Chip shots are accurate, hitting the mockup green just about every time.I will have these clubs forever. Go get them...especially for the prices they are now. I absolutley love these irons. It took me about 3 rounds to get used to them, but now they are amazing. Before I got them, i would slice the ball everytime, but with a little extra weight I can control my swing better and I hit is farther. I would certainly reccomend these to anybody. |

Rac os 2
This is my first real season golfing. I have gone out about every week since April. I bought the Rac OS 2 about a month ago. I was choosing between these, Nike Ignite, and TM R7 irons. I did not go with Nike because I just like TM better. I did like the R7 grips better and both felt good. I only chose the Rac because they were $100 cheaper and all the specs are the same between the two irons.

I brough these irons a year age when I was shooting in the 90's-100's. Since then I have had 3 scores in the 70's and consistantly in the low 80's. My course is 6400 and par 70, 71.9/129. I started a bit of a beginner and read the reviews for these irons and brought with out trying in the regular flex. They really inproved my game, they go nice and high and you can still take a divot. They are not that hard to work and come with an offset so it is easy to hit a draw. At the moment I hit the 7 about 160Y with a regular flex but am upgradeing to the mizuno mp-32's only because of the shaft and since I am now in single figures I want more of a blade as these irons are a bit chunky which promotes confidence. When I brought the chunkyness was good but now I want blades. They set up well as you can't really see the cavity behind the top line. They fly high and look really good in the bag. Into the wind they will definetly ballon a little if you don't know how to play the shot wright. So over all I would really reccomend these irons. I dropped my handicap 10 shots with these irons and a lot of practise, but these irons really helped. If you want a forgiving iron and goes high and far no matter where you hit it... Then buy these now!!! Customer Service Brought of ebay Similar Products Used: Only old irons before these |

These clubs are great. I used to play with Cobras, which were outdated, but I received the RACs as a gift from my parents as a Christmas gift. I have played about 15 rounds with them and I have loved them. If you are debating buying these clubs, I would seriously recommend getting them. They are amazingly forgiving, especially on mis-hits. I have noticed an increase in my distance as well. Before, I could hit a six iron close to 185 yards. Now, I am routinely hitting the same club anywhere from 200-215 yards. Easily the best clubs there are when it comes to forgiveness. Hitting it solid is the greatest feeling there is, and you can get these sky-high, which is helpful when you are hitting a shot out of the rough. I love these clubs and I would never trade them in even if I wanted to. Period. |

I tried several brands out at a local Dicks and these stood out above the rest for me. I compared them to a set of x18 and 06 Berthas , along with a set of Titliest , . As another poster mentioned I hit the sweet spot the most with these clubs. After struggling with a set of Cobras these clubs have helped me turn a 180 and never look back. They are very forgiving on most mis-hits (a duff is a duff) . Man do these things get high. I will also say I hit them around 10-15 years longer than anything I've ever played. Only issue at this point is the newer R7 draw is selling at the same price point and is supposed to be a better club. If you can get a set used or for cheap I don't think you can beat them. |

I originally played a set of TM super steel burners, you know, the bottom end TM set that you can now find on Ebay for about $100. I decided to try a new set so I picked the RAC OS2s up from Ebay for $320 including S&H. They had never been played before so I think I got a good deal. At least I thought I did. I can not hit these clubs no matter how hard I try. Everything goes straight right if I can even get the ball of the ground. I have played them on the course now 3 times and taken them to the driving range 3 times and there is no improvement. The sand wedge is the same as my Warrior made Lob Wedge. I can't get it to fly over 50 yards which, compared to my previous sand wedge, is ridiculous. With my super steel, I could hit anything within 100 yards easily with my SW. I am very disappointed with my purchase of these clubs. I am not giving up on them just yet as I do realize that it takes a little while to adapt to new clubs. It had better happen soon though or someone will e getting a deal by shopping on Ebay. Similar Products Used: Calloway X-18, TM Super steel |

I went to Dicks and tradeed in my callaway x-12's I tried the x-18,x-20 Cobra, Adams etc.. and after checking the sweet spot and toe using that TAPE they put on. The Markings showed that I was most of the time consistent with these clubs. I am sure I will lose some distance with these clubs but I believe I will have more accuracy which is mostly important for your short game. Hit these clubs on the course the other day and have never hit any clubs like them. Had to buy a set as soon as i could. They are very easy to hit and are long and high. They fell solid and mis hits still fly in the direction of the shot. I would recommend these to anyone. They are an instant game improvement. I love these and will have them in my bag for a long time. Similar Products Used: Mizuno MX-19, Ping Zing, Taylormade RAC HT, Callaway Big Bertha, Callaway X-16 |
