Spent the Summer of 17 looking at new irons for my bag, 6I-Pw and compared and tried several recommendations from my local Golf Pro. Have been playing the Rac's since 2008 when I picked up a set in Calgary. In comparison to the newer models of TM I was not gaining a large enough jump in performance to warrant a
change. The shots are crisp and I can get the ball to do what I want in any weather conditions. I will say the stock grips did not hold up more than one season and i was glad to change those. Clubs are good value and if you can find a set scoop them up. They are worth a place in you bag.

I bought these clubs on ebay about 3 years ago for about $110 from a guy claiming to be a pro. They were an inch long and I am 6'5" so I figured I'd give them a try. I was coming from a Maxfli Black Max set that I got at Dick's when I was 14 and almost a foot shorter. Height aside, I loved these babies after I figured out how to hit them. I had a nasty hook for a long time after receiving them, but figured it out after weeks on the range. I added so much distance and my shots were fine looking.

I am writing this review now because my time with them may be up. When I bought these clubs, I was shooting in the 100+ range, with some outliers in the 120s. Now, my handicap has reached single digits and my iron game is too confusing for me to take it to the next level and shave off those last few strokes. The problem is that these clubs have way too much offset for an advanced golfer. Take it from me, after being a not-so-advanced golfer, to put it lightly. These clubs were a dream until I started shooting in the 70s and low 80s, and when I mis-hit, I wouldn't quite know where I missed, because it almost felt the same as my center hits.

Bottom line, get these clubs if you are looking for an iron that will hit 200 on a pure hit and 190 on a mis hit. If you need distance and control and don't care about "feel" or "feedback" or "workability", get these on ebay- they are a steal, and you can get a great set.

Meanwhile, I ordered my set of Titleist 755 forged irons yesterday and I am looking forward to taking them out onto the course to see what I can fix.

Quite nice actually, after using a lot of different clubs on the range finally bought these irons 4-sw. The are quite good for the price, very forigiving and good distance too. I can hit a 4i to about 190 yds. For some one who has a moderately consistent swing these are a good buy. Only the grips are a bit slippery.

Thought i needed a change so off i went to American Golf to try out some clubs, Have been playing with Ping eye 2 good club but really old. Tryed out the Burner Plus really liked them, then a friend gave me a set of OS2 what a difference, knocked 8 shots off my game in 6 weeks they are just easy to hit, and even when you miss hit the ball just carries a great distance. Shafts are good but the grips feel slimey, so i changed the grips after a couple of weeks. I would recommend to mid-high handicapers.

the rac os are my first set of clubs. I like them because its all ive shot. Love my pw hit 140-160 my 8 175-180 my 3 iron is hard to hit but if i do 220+ i guess those are good numbers for a rookie.

These clubs are the most inconsistent irons I have ever hit in my life. You cant beat the price but sometimes, as shown evident here, you get what you pay for. I try my friend's Callaway iron and i get at least 15 if not 20 more yards for each club. I am limited to either a slice or a straight shot with these clubs as their workability is limited. I would HEAVILY suggest looking into Callaway X-18s or even the X-20s. If you're looking for a good deal, these are the way to go but if you are a competitive golfer like me, you will be in the market for new clubs soon after.

These irons are great especially for players who seek for game improvement as a priority. My only warning is that these irons are created as draw biased and so those who has already had a draw flight are likely to find the ball end up at the left side of the green or geenside bunker when aiming straight. You can notice from plenty of offset RAC OS2 have. My solution is I still keep 3-9 irons, whick I occasionally open the club face at impact, while replacing PW-SW with less offset wedge (cleveland wedge). Anyway, this iron set is still great in term of forgiving. Imagine you hit couple of inches behind the ball but don't lose much distance. Moreover, in term of distance, it is so amazing that I gain a lot distance with such high ball fligt (7 iron - 165 yards, not too bad isn't it?). The last thing I love RAC OS2 is they have very soft and spring-liked club face. I have no worry about any pain even though I sometimes miss hit at the ground. The club face can absorb the vibration quite a lot before reaching my hands and arms. If you are mid to high handicaper, I strongly recommend RAC OS2 as weopen to beat your pals next round.

I just took my os2's and compared em to the tour burners and r7's, side by side ....WHAT A LET DOWN the new TM stuff is! For as much as i wanted to buy new irons it made no sense to...the r7's (w/ a stronger loft) still didnt hit the ball as long as the os2 (5iron comparison...165yds carry r7, 170+yds carry os2)...and the other gripe i have w/ TM is: the 90g stiff flex in the os2 is ALOT stiffer than what SAYS stiff on the r7 (feels alot whippier)
