FANTASTIC. I play of 14 currently but expect to reach single figures in a couple of seasons.
You don't need to be great to hit these. I think 14 - 18 could play with these no problem.
They look great behind the ball and hit it like a dream. I got custom fitted (A MUST BY THE WAY) and have Dynamic Gold Stiff shafts. The control and feel in the short game is incredible!
If you are serious about golf and want a great set of irons get these. I was swaying between X20 tours, MP60's and these - the R7 TP beats them all no problem!

Outstanding set of irons. I have played only forged irons for the last 8 years, Hogan Apex, Apex Plus, Titliest 690CB, Macgregor 565, Mizuno MX23 & 25, and these R7's are better than all of them. The have a great feel, like forged but more smooth, more intuitively felt, and much more solid. The Dynamic Gold SL regular shaft work quite well with the heads, making the combination of head and shaft amazing. Wasn't expecting to like the sticks this much, made the change to fit diminishing abilities due to genetic nerve detrioration. But these irons took me from high eighties to low middle eighties overnight. I was a diehard forged player, but man these are easily better than the forged I have played. The R7 TP have about 1/2 the offset of the regular R7, so if you slice try those, if you are looking for the irons to take you to the next level of your game, these will do the trick.

Got these irons on eBay for $475 Brand new. Traded in a set of MP- 60s and i'm glad i did. I liked the 60s, but these clubs are more forgiving and on off- center hits. TP's have great feel and very consistent distance. I'm just amazed how confident they make me feel before each shot.

All I can say is holy crap, if oyu want the feel, comfort, good-looks, and work horse like iron then these are for you. Can virtually play from any lie and shape the ball whichever way needed, with the ability to spin the ball for more distance control. Basically a must buy if you want the best irons out their.

I'm a 12 year old boy looking for the best irons. I tried many irons. and I used pings for the last tournament season. I needed a change because some of my iron shots were alway's right. I went with the r7 tps with new nano graphit proforce shafts. I like the feel of a metal iron. So my dad had the 115 shafts installed and wow what a wonderful feel. I am not your average 12 year old. I shoot right around par golf. So mabey this advise will help the shave some shots off your game. Good luck golfers what a wonderful game. Matty

I'm a 14 year old and I had been looking for some irons to suit my game. I consistently shoot even or a couple over or under. I had been using top flight 03 irons which were nice but were defiatly not top notch irons. The first day I used these irons I shot 1 under and I wasn't even putting good. The feel of these irons is unbelievable and they're deadly accurate. I can't wait to see how these will perform once I'm used to them.I give these w/ the rifle shafts an A+++++

I used to switch clubs every 6 months and recently gave up my Ping S59 blades in search of a better set of irons. The S59s are beautiful irons, but I lost at least 1 clubs distance. Tried all available new irons and after much research and demos, I settled on the TM r7 TP irons w/Project X 5.5 Rifle shafts.

One word: AWESOME!!!

More feel, distance & accuracy w/forgiveness and consistency built in.

YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE FOR YOURSELF!

For many years I have been a loyalist to Callaway golf products. My most recent set were the X-18 Pro Series which I hit pretty good. After watching all my friends switch to these irons and their scores improving dramatically I decided to give them a try. I went to my local PGA professsional and got fitted. I have always played with stiff steel shafts but after trying out the TM graphite I couldn't get over the exceptional added distance and the soft feel these clubs give. I am hitting the ball at least 1 and 1/2 clubs longer, with a much higher and straighter ball flight. I also think the graphite shafts are much easier on my back as well. I thought the regular flex would be too soft but boy was I ever wrong! Forget all that working the ball hoopla, hitting it straight is what it's all about. I am so much more accurate with my approaches with these irons because of that feature. If you need new irons, do yourself a favor and at least demo a set of these before you buy anything else. They are kinda pricey but I bet you won't be dissapointed! They are worth every cent you pay for them..

Customer Service

I had some issues with them trying to get a R7 425 driver reshafted. I don't think they try to please the customer as much as they try to pleasure the PGA tour pro that doesn't even pay to use their stuff. As far as I'm concerned Callway and PING are the exemplary idea of what customer service in the golf industry truly is all about. I will miss that!

Time to upgrade irons? Mine were 10+ year old King Cobras. Went to the shops and hit anything I could find for left handed irons. The taylor made r7 tp with a stiff shaft s300 (driver speed 115mph) is a GREAT set of irons. Much more accurate, misses are not as far off line.
Played 6 rounds with the new irons and just shot my lowest round EVER.
If it is time for new irons, definately looks at these.
