Darn good iron, Darn good price! I would have never thought about buying these until I saw the price, these same irons were 700 bucks 2 years ago! All I can say is that I could not be happier!

I am going to keep it short, but I have hit all the 600 to 1000 dollars irons, I think I just bought a better iron, and saved enough to go on a weekend golf trip! Solid, Solid iron! Good feel ,good distance, good ball flight! Great Price! Enough said!

These are some responsive clubs, no need to overswing, lay a nice stroke on it and the ball will fly high and long!

These are by far the best irons Taylor has made. I hit these and the Ping I3, these were more solid, and 400 bucks cheaper!

I recently purchased these irons on sale for $399 for the 3-9 irons. I was ready to buy the XPC clubs from Golfsmith (Hank you're right about the price if you can't get them for what I paid) but found these cheap. I really wanted the Firesole irons, but needed the eat that month too, so I went with the LCG (LowCenterofGravity). I had a set of $30 garage sale specials before these clubs, and havent played any length of time with any others, so a true comparison is difficult. That said, I still can't consistently get the ball in the air, but the frequency of a high trajectory has improved since using these clubs. I often hit it off the toe (don't we all?) but these clubs are very much more forgiving than the old cavity backs I had. I get a much more solid feel at impact, and because of the weighting system--which may be bogus but feels good to me--feel less twisting on offcenter (often offcenter)hacks at the ball. My game isnt good enough to give a true rating of these clubs, but I can say that the look at address gives me a comfortable confidence, and the clubs feel very nicely balanced for me. The club is fairly heavy, and a nice easy swing is all this club needs. My longer woods have become much less of a white-knockle proposition than before as well. I love the feel on well-struck shots. I am quite pleased with them, but as Hank said, if you don't have the budget for them, or can't find them for a really nice price, Golfsmith has a couple of clubs that feel similar and are a little better priced.

Customer Service

Excellent. See my review of the Taylor Made Firesole offset driver.

Tried DCI's, Nicklaus, etc. Swinging these is easy. They hit better if you just let the club rip thru the ball. Most shots go nice and straight (the club really helps). Not too offset, just right.

As a beginner, I wanted to buy some clubs I could grow into. I tried the KCII, Tommy 845s , Callaway X-12s (just for fun) and these. I LOVE THESE. I can hit them consistently and straight. I may not hit my 7-iron 175 yards, but at least I know what's gonna happen when I swing. I can also hit down to the 4 pretty well. I think they're great and deserve looking at. I thought the KCIIs and 845s were pretty decent. I couldn't get through how big the X-12s looked and didn't care for the feel.
