Taylor Made 200 Irons Reg Steel
I am a bit of a golf club junkie, forever looking for the ultimate set of irons. I have tried many in recent months, from Wilson Deep Reds to Mizuno Pro II's but whilst there is not a lot between any of them to be honest, I have to say that these Taylor Made 200's are the best set of cavity backs I have ever played. They are easy to hit, feel great and distances are good and reliable. I almost expect to hit a good ball every time I set up, which is more than half the battle won. I am a strong irons player and have a back up set of forged blades which I sometimes feel brave enough to do justice to, but these 200's are so sweet that I can't see them coming out very often for the time being, a real gem from Taylor Made. I bought the matching 200 Driver and 3 Wood also and they are superb to. Customer Service Not Used Similar Products Used: Wilson Deep Reds, Pro II's, MX20's, Hogan Apex Edge Pro's etc... |

These are a great improvement from Tommy Armour 855's that I was using. Ball flight is much high due to the lower center of gravity. Feedback is also much improved without great sacrifice in distance unless you're way off center. Very nice feel overall. Lofts are a bit jacked up but a little time at the range with a laser range finder should give you a good idea about club selection. I need a little more time before I can say my handicap has dropped "x" strokes but the jury feels confident that the 200 series is in the bag to stay. I tried the 300's (forged) and said "maybe one day". The 320's are very similar but more expensive and less forgiving. The 360's didn't that the thin top line look, had too much offset and were also more expensive. I tried the Ping i3's since I love their woods but they just seem fat and vague. Traded in set of Ben Hogan Apex Plus irons which were extremely hard to hit. Saw instant results in forgiveness, and also saw added distance to each iron. The long irons were so much easier to hit. Great Clubs! Free Wedge with purchase! Customer Service No experience with customer service yet. Similar Products Used: Ping Eye 3, Adams GT Series Irons |

Finally bought myself some new clubs after struggling with a 10 year old set of MacGregor blades, these were fabulous clubs for a person who hits the ball really consistently but not for me. I bought hte Taylor Made's after reading the reviews here and I must say that I am very very pleased eith them, they are so forgiving and I have added 20 yards to most irons. I have only used them once on the course so far but I am sure that they are going to knock a good few shots off my handicap. The sand wedge is fantastic in this set, it sits just right and you can open up the face without the flange getting in the way. All in all, great clubs, great value, thanks to everyone who posted here amd pointed me in the right direction!! Customer Service not yet |

Tried Cobra SS irons and Callaway X-14's for months but seemed too bulky and unforgiving. Then traded irons in for 200's and loved then. Smaller sole sets up nicely, less offset is better for me, and the forgiveness and feel are uncomparable. For the price, you cannot beat the 200's. Customer Service ordered free sand wedge, not yet received. Similar Products Used: X 14's, Cobra SS |

Traded my X-14's in last month for a set of these and I like these so much better. Also had Cobra SS model for one week, it was to bulky. A little less offset, a little smaller sole and a great feel makes TM 200 irons a steal for the price and the best on the market.
