The benefits of being fitted for a set of irons can not be over stated. Being over six feet tall I had minor dificulties getting used to the longer irons, seeing how my previous set was too short. Now I do not need to use a woods off of the tee for the shorter par fours. All of the irons are very forgiving, and feel great. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Good overall club. Well made with no major complaints, the grips take some getting used to but now I really like them. They are forgiving (even in the player's edition) and get pretty good distance.

Nickel w/steel shafts. Great clubs, excellent feel and ball control. Have played with older Pings (Karsten III) which I've enjoyed. ISI-Ns have a similar feel, but more forgiving. Paid $599 for 3-PW, gave 5 birdies as the price is inline with other brands. Was able to demo the new i3. WOW! I like them ALOT! Ping has another winner. But, I'm too cheap to pay today's price for a set.

This is certainly a great looking set of irons, extremely forgiving, good for low-, mid-, & high-handicap players. Not sure if it's the club themselves or the club fitting that makes these clubs better, I suspect the latter. Majority (if not all) brand name manufacturers do not fit their clubs specifically to the individual. I would have to say that this is critical when selecting and playing golf clubs. Just as clothing goes, you won't buy a size small if you are 6'2", and visa versa. Overall I highly recommend these irons, however high-end products usually come with high-end prices. They do retain their value.

Customer Service

If you have bought a brand new set of PING irons, KARSTEN will re-fit the irons should your swing change over the years(i.e. loft & lie adjustment)absolutely free.

I have been using a set of stainless ISIs for about 4 years now. Since I carry my 2-iron to complete the upper irons, I don't even carry a wood. When I can take a 2-iron 240 who needs em'? Specially when it's possible to hit the wedge about 150. You can do all this with control too. Pick a spot and rip it. Over trees, no problem. If I would have done it again, I can't imagine what the Nickle Sticks hit like.

Custom Club Fitting. I Bought my irons at an authorized fitting center and they bent em' and changed the ""I"" color in 2 hours.

I hit the ball longer and straighter with all the short irons, but the long irons were tougher to get used to than the Callaway X-12s. The wedges are great and really nice to work with around the green. With all the options and fitting service, you really can't go wrong.

I will enter high school this fall and have played PING irons for 5 years now. I acquired my ISI's last summer from our club pro. Very forgiving, longer and straighter than my Eye 2's. Please get proper club-fitting. Highly recommended.

This is a great club if you are in the mid- to high-handicapp range. It provides forgiveness and control while still providing great feel and optimum trajectory.

GREAT clubs. Consistantly hit the ball 20-30 yrds farther than others and straighter, which is more important to me than distance. Great control too. I'm swinging easier and hitting farther. Great clubs--recommend to anyone who wants more control, feel, and distance. Be sure to have them custom fit to you by a qualified pro.
