I mistakenly ordered these irons before trying them. Mine are green dot with stiff cs lite steel shafts. The swingweight is too light for my taste. I e mailed ping to inquire about the specs of my irons. Their response was immediate. My irons are c-9 swingweight. I was told that they could increase the swingweight by changing the i3+ gizzmo on the back side of the head. They charge something like $18. for each club to do that. I was told the reason for their charging so much was that it was not easy to do and that they really do not like to do it. I am currently trying some lighter weight grips on three of my irons and can honestly say that it has helped not only the distance but also the accuracy. These clubs are high quality. If I were buying new irons today; then, I would purchase either TaylorMade RAC OS or Titlelist 822 OS.

Customer Service

Responsive but expensive. I was expecting them to make swingweight alterations at a reasonable cost. I thought that was a major reason for the i3+ thing on the club head.

I got lucky and won a set of Ping I3+ irons with the CS Lite shafts and blue dot lie. I swapped them even for a set with Red Dot. The Ping I3+ is a very solid iron. The lighter shaft took getting used to. Ball flight and sound at impact gives you feedback as the clubs are pretty forgiving and you don't get much feel at impact. I've played several rounds with them and am very satisfied. I still like my Hogan Apex Plus irons. But, the two sets aren't easy to compare as one is forged and the other is cast. I think the Hogans are about a club longer than the Pings. The Ping gets a higher trajectory which may be the cause of the distance loss. If you are looking for a forgiving set of irons that look good at address, then definitely check out the I3+ irons.

Still undecided. I was custom fitted for these graf.shafts. Like the looks, feel and ease. However have gone from 150 yd 8I in Callaway X14 to 130 yd with these. Pro is sending back to factory to increase swing weight. I know that lofts are strongeer in Callys but hope this helps. Ego won't let me settle for 140 yd 6I. I hit these higher than any irons I've ever had and wondering if 3* flat would also increase loft. I'm using Callys while pings being reworked.

Customer Service

I'm sure there is none better from experience with older models.

I upgraded to these irons from my old set of eye 2's in January. I'm not completed satisfied yet. I play at least 2x per week and practice almost daily. I take lessons. Distance is the main problem. I'm usually 1-2 clubs less than my playing partners. I have no confidence hitting an 8 iron 150 yards. I heard you "arrived" when an 8 goes 160 yards. Feel & feedback is lacking, even on solid hits. Shots go too high. Even though my handicap went from a 19 to a 9 in 6 months, it's due to longer drives (TM 580), better chips (Cleveland) and putts (2-ball). I'm seriously changing to x-16's, where I can feel the clubhead throughout my swing.

Customer Service

Never had to use them yet. Only contact through their website. Registered my clubs there.

I am a club junky, never happy with what I have, something's always better. It seems that every time I play around I end up back with Ping. The new i3+ has a better look and feel the i3OS and is lazerlike in accuracy. I might just stick with these. The only club i've seen that's close is the Titleist 822OS.

Customer Service

When you say PING you mean customer service. There is not a company anywhere that is more customer friendly. Buy Ping.

I played the O-Size for three years and decided to try a graphite shaft. I when with the Big Bertha 2002 irons and was that a mistake! I just got a new set of the i3+s and they are even better than the O-Size were. I think the feel and just overall the club is greatly improved. I think these are the best on the market.

Customer Service

Always super, but you probably will not need them.

Been playing golf for 12 years. These are the best clubs I have ever hit. Tried them all including the Callaway x-18, I3+ is by far the best club made.

I had decided to upgrade my Wilson Irons as they were old and miss hits almost broke my hands. I was torn between the new Callaway's and the new PING. The Callaways were OK but the draw bias would be a problem as I normally hit dead straight. They just didn't feel as good as the PING. The PING's just felt great in my grip and regardless of how many balls I hit they all felt sweet. Consistency is what I saw as thats what I look for in my Irons. It was also nice getting a custom fitting so I know the clubs I have are the proper match for me.

Maybe the best club Ping has made. Very forgiving with solid feedback. Consistant in distances. I ordered the set in my bag with Tour Flighted Rifles which is a wonderful match for me. I've also played the CS Lite Reg & Stiff(owned both) and they are very good shafts. Good feel & feedback. TFR just fit my game a little better.

I will start by saying I think the old Ping I3's are better clubs.Don't get me wrong, these are very good clubs.About 5 yards longer than the older model but harder to get a feel for though.I think it may be due to the lighter stock shaft. If you are a high handicaper(20 or more)then I would highly suggest these. If not,try one of the mixed sets by Nike(Pro Combo)or MacGregor(V-Foil CM).These clubs will benefit your game more.

Customer Service

I heard it is great but not needed.
