I have tried many of the most popular brands but this was the first set of Pings I ever hit and it was love at first swing. Not the best looking iron but when you hit them like this thats just a sidebar. Soft at impact, high but boring flight, and they GRAB the green. The Cushin shaft takes away any vibrations. They do get scratched up easily. You can hit any type shot with no problem. No problem digging out of the rough. I hit the long irons in this set the best i've ever hit(black dot).

Customer Service

Can't say enough about how I was treated. The Ping Rep was very cordual in assistance and answered every question. He worked with me for about an hour. Ping obviously has the best fitting program.I finally settled on the black dots.

I just purchased a set of ping i-3 plus, blue dot, stiff shaft, standard length. I tested out several sets of irons over the course of the last two months: hogans cfts, taylor made racs os, x-16s, big berthas, ta5s, and ta7s. I actually didn't want to buy the pings b/c I had read that the clevelands and callaways were very, very forgiving (and I need the help) and that the pings were not as forgiving. But, after hitting the clubs on the range numerous times, I liked the pings the best. The x-16s were a close second, but I don't really like the look of the callaway clubs. The ta5s are only $399 right now, but I didn't hit them as well and I didn't like their low profile. I also think the racs are terrible looking - why do I want to see the tungsten plugs (or whatever they are?)? Basically, it came down to which club I hit the best . . . and it was definitely the pings. Even though the pings were more expensive than some of the other clubs, pings have a much higher re-sale value, so it may even out in the long run if I ever change clubs. Hope this helps.

I agree with Mr. Jones, Pa doesn't know what he's talking about. I got mix set 3-5 o-size, very forgiving and great feel, easiest long irons I've had the pleasure of owning. 6-PW blades, very workable, I'm able to hit draw and fade at will it seems, couldn't say that about other clubs I've hit.

I have owned these clubs for about two months and can honestly say that they are the easiest to hit, most forgiving clubs I hav ever owned. I was custom fitted by a Ping rep out of Phoenix at a local demo day and their professional staff worked with me until we found the perfect match in the white dot with stiff shafts. I have never felt better when facing the need to hit a long three iron from a tight lie or thick rough. While they provide enough feel to let you know when the ball has been struck off-center, the ball flight remains true to the target line. On short iron shots, I haven't owned clubs with better feel since I got rid of the Hogan blades years ago. Simply put, these are the finest allarounf irons I've ever owned and would highly recommend to any mid-handicapper. My index is a 10.6 and the very first round of the box was a 77! I can't wait to get fitted for the driver and fairway woods in search of even better results on my scorecard.

Customer Service

Superb in the area of fitting and prompt delivery after ordering.

I am so glad I am the first to give a review of these clubs here. These clubs are the best I have ever owned. My previous clubs were Titleist and they were nice but the I3+'s are a huge step above. They have a solid feel to them and the distances are very consistent. They are also a bit longer than my previous clubs, but way more forgiving. I was custom-fitted for these clubs (blue dot, tour lofts, 1/2'' longer)and the confidence that brings is incredible. These clubs combined with plenty of practice and playing, will take me to breaking 90 and beyond. I had bought a Ping putter around a year ago and was very pleased, and I am happy to say that I am even more pleased with the I3+'s.

Customer Service

None needed, but they answered every question I had by email promptly.
