Just got a set of custom fitted clubs black dots.Great clubs.Very accurate and good feel.Possibly on par with Callaway x14 allround but I feel definately more accurate than them, but I think I have lost a little distance. Was recomended stiff Aldila shafts and came with them but I feel regular shafts would have been a better choice.

Customer Service

Was promised delivery of the clubs in Two weeks but It took a month

What a beautiful set of clubs. I had rifle shafts put in mine (I have no problem with the JZ shaft, I just like the rifle) and they feel grrrreat, and after some serious hitting they still look great too. I lost a few yards of carry, but my accuracy has definitely improved. Take it from someone who investigates products to the extreme, "these are great sticks".

I have tried many types of different irons and these are by far the best. Although they definitely aren't cheap, it is worth spending the extra money to play these clubs. None of the other irons had nearly the same feel as these and Ping offers custom fitting to fit different body types and swings. I played Taylor Made irons for awhile and noticed an immediate difference when I picked up the i3's. Just go demo them for yourself!

I demo'ed the similar products listed here all with graphite regular shafts and found that the pings were far superior. They were easier to hit, straighter, and longer on off center hits. In general, they were also longer by 3-5 yards on good hits. While they are not cheap, they are worth every penny you pay for them. There is a reason that most people at my county club use them, it's to bad it took me 15 years to find out why.

I purchased my set of i3s (2 thru sand wedge O-size) a year ago but didn't get to play them until this year. Beautiful clubs with a great feel. I have already taken ten to twelve strokes off of my game but this is a combination of the clubs and taking lessons for the first time in my life. The clubs give me confidence and I am finally starting to hit greens in regulation (instead of the contstant pitch and putt approach). I am hitting my 7 iron 165 to 170 yards. I love the 2 iron because it is giving me a much more accurate option of off the tee - 220 to 230 yards. The shafts are very effective at dampening vibrations and off center hits still go 80 to 85% of distance and straight. Very forgiving. The heavy head encourages an easy swing that lets the club do the work (as it should). Worth every penny. I also purchased a Ping Ally 2i putter which has helped me to eliminate the dreaded three putt. Also worth every penny.

These are excellent made clubs, and are among the most forgiving i found while testing. While the price may be a bit steep, it is well worth the splurge. Also, get them fitted, it makes a big difference, and will make your rounds much more enjoyable. Basically If you're considering new irons, make sure to give these a try. Oh yeah, your friends will be jealous, i know mine are.

I guess that it's all a matter of opinion. But for me, these are the best set of irons that I've owned. And, I've owned just about all of them. No, they're not forged, hence they don't have the feel of forged irons. But, they do feel good and they are STRAIGHT and LONG. And, much to my surprise, controllable. The key though, is to be fitted for them (lie, length and shaft). It makes all the difference in the world.

Customer Service

I live in the Phoenix area, so customer service is a given (as far as time). (I just drive down to the plant.) Anytime that I've delt with the Ping folks, it was a pleasant experience.

I try not to review clubs until I have played with them for a while. I have about 20 rounds with these clubs( 4 thru lob with gap, stiff graphite 350 shafts). Across the board the most forgiving I have hit. Long irons get up easy and are straight. Short irons are high and accurate. The biggest suprise is the lob wedge. It is extremely versatile. It has the same bounce as the sand wedge thus, useful from the sand. It is extremely accurate so it is the club of choice for most chipping. The graphite shafts are accurate and give up very little to steel. Flight pattern is straight, but can be worked. You ask they deliver. thinking about adding 3 iron but, I3 7 wood is phenomenal.

these clubs are fantastic. I am sixteen years old and have always been a consistent high 80s shooter. Once I purchased these clubs I immediately saw results. my handicap has now droppes from a 16 to a 12 and it still improving . these clubs hit so much easier that my original Cobra CXI's (which I hate). The long irons are soooo easy to hit and the short irons really get up underneath the ball and produce some really good shots. If you are looking for an absolutely great product screw cleveland, callaway, taylormade and titleist and go get yourself some pings. And definitely go for the custom fitting it can really improve your game.

Hit a few different clubs before settling on the i/3 o-size. Was really crushing the 6I when demoing the clubs and when being fitted. Ended up with blue dot (1* upright) and the JZ stiff steel shafts. Paid $720 for 3 thru PW + SW. Have had the clubs about 2 months now and I love 'em! My handicap has dropped 3 strokes. Hitting them long and high, which really helps keep the ball on the dance floor. The stiff shafts appear to be keeping the ball straighter as well. Expensive clubs, but a quality product. Definitely should give them a try if you're in the market for new irons. Note that it did take 4 weeks to receive them - I was told it would only take 2.
