I'm an inconsistent ball striker, and have gone back to these after giving the X-14's, the Evo's and Giant GX-2's a shot. For me, the Evo's were excellent for shaping shots, the X-14's were fairly easy to hit and the Giant's were super long. The Ping's simply offer me the consitency I need right now. They also work very well for me around the greens. Ping wedges really spin for me, although I've never tried Vokey's. I also noticed about 90% of the scratch players at my club uing Ping. Hmmm, lightbulb. Customer Service No recent experience. Similar Products Used: Ping Eye 2, Ping Zing 2, Tommy Armour Evo, Giant GX2, Calloway X-14 |

I have play with PING Iron ever since I've started playing golf. I have been using the Ping ISI Berilium Irons. When I bought the I3's and started playing with them I couldn't believe how well the ball was flying. I have been able to shape the ball better and have a lot more accurecy. Really doubted my choice at first. Thought forged would be my next advancement. However, after hitting these & forged irons, side by side, I can not tell great difference! These clubs are solid hitters with an outstanding address that radiates confidence. Though they felt numb to me at first, once i played more with them I can easily distinguish a good & bad strike. Definitely not just for high handicapper. I'll go into the 70's with these- I've already shot par & 2 over on different rounds! Customer Service Very swift & able to answer questions with awesome availability & an "800" phone #. Similar Products Used: Ben Hogan Aplex Plus, Tommy Armour 845 w/ titanium insert |

I havent bought them yet but i hit them at the range, and they are by far the most accurate and forgiving clubs i hit. I usually hit a hard 5 or easy 4 iros 170 yards but i hit a smooth 6 iron. these will definantly be in my bag soon. Similar Products Used: callaway x-12 |

I don't think it's true when I here these clubs are shorter in distance than others I get an extra 5-10 yards from them. I love these clubs to bits, they're very, very consistant & much better looking than their old eye 2's. Love at 1st sight. Well done Ping. very good club for young biginners. good quality service from their pro shop as well. cutomized fitting as well as customized adjustment for angles and shifts etc. i was using steel shaft and liked heavier feeling than other clubs. easy to hit all through the numbers. medium distance with higher flight. but didn't like wedges. wedges are not very sensitive. i switched titleist wedges instead for sharper feel. I bought the rifle tour trajectory shafts. First time out in AZ, I shot the best round of my life. Easy to hit and very accurate. Especially forgiving on toe hits but feel and sound good on good hits. New retail from Ping Works these would cost more than I would like to have spent. Now that I have played with them 4 times, I know I would pay the piper. Similar Products Used: Yonex Tour, Hogan Plus |

These clubs are probably the best in the market. The first time i tried this it lowered my score by 5 strokes! It is the most ACCURATE AND most FORGIVING club in the market at this time. And when I started using these clubs I have trashed my friend Arthurson Leong like dirt and he didnt even know what hit him. Well my advice to you guys planing to Purchase a new set of irons, dont even give it a second thought PING-I3 are the irons for you!!! I have had some difficulty in getting use to the i3s compared to my eye 2s, but am getting more and more comfortable with them the more I play. They are very accurate and set up beautifully. |
