Recently switched from an old set of Eye 2''s. Bought these on eBay. 12 clubs 1, 3 thru PW, SW UL, LW. Re-shafted with Rifle 6.0 Tour Flighted. Totally different set up than my old sticks but played these like a champ. No learning curve! Great feedback on miss hits. Look forward to playing my best rounds yet with these weapons. i3 Blades are good for a mid-seventies or scratch golfer who can play blades and not one who is not on the downside of being good - over the hill - there''''s lots like this who think they''''re low handicaps - in the head only. I shoot at best 82 to 85 and when rusty 90+, and I don''''t play enough for a standard size head blade design and I''''m not shamed to admit it. I suffered along time until I found TaylorMade 320s with R80 shaft. I tested lots. All you wannabe scratch golfers with MP19; MP33, etc..., think about it before you buy based on you think it''''s a good learning tool. It isn''''t if you duff shots. duffing a few shots = double + triple bogey golf. Not cool at all. X-12; Mizuno Sures hook too much; LCGs are decent. TM320''''s are the best combo of it all and long and forgiving beyond belief. All you 360 Yards with a new driver are full of beans. These clubs have the qualities of a true blade without the harsh feedback and major loss of distance on those miss hits. If you want shot feedback and a little help on miss hits, then you have to get a set of I3''s. These clubs offer the best of both worlds. Customer Service Outstanding, dynamic fitting was a great way to determine the best lie angle and shaft combination. Similar Products Used: ISI Nickel, Tommy Armour 845 and Taylormade 300''s |

None Do not let the word BLADES scare you out of the best golf decision you will ever make. I have owned, and played, the Eye2, ISI-S and ISI-N and can tell you that these are the best of the bunch. They have a smaller, compact head and are forgiving. I find these clubs to be even more forgiving that the Eye2 and ISI models and the minimum off-set will improve your game. I ordered the 3-W, U and S (10 clubs) with the Z-Z65 shafts and Lamkin Crossline grips and they are wonderful. Pay the $50.00 to get properly fitted and you will be completely satisfied. None I have been golfing for seven years and in that time I have tried every club that I could get my hands on, I have owned several sets of irons myself, and I would hit different irons that my playing partners own, and I feel that I have finally found the best iron for me. to be honest I hit the ping isi, zing, zing 2, and eye 2 irons over the years and never really liked them, however on a whim I tried the I3 blades and really liked them, the irons aren''''t a "true" blade, but they have a blade-like feel on well struck shots. the reason that I bought them is that when you mis-hit a ball you can "feel" that you missed it and still get good results, (unlike my old callaways where good and bad shots felt the same. In my opinion these irons have the best of both worlds, forgiveness AND workability. you wont be sorry if you get a set. Customer Service had paint problems with my ISI driver and ping told me that they would be happy to repaint it "FOR $50.00" (sure like I want to dump another 50 bucks into a driver that I paid $350 for) I was very dis Similar Products Used: just about every iron |

Ping i3 Blade

None I have played every Ping, Titleist, Callaway, etc etc etc. I truly believe these are the finest irons Ping has made to date. With the Eye2''s Zing 2''s etc I found the clubs to be of high quality however the large offset and light swingweight of these irons allways left me a little cold. The i3 blades have a great feel I love the smaller head and they feel much heavier then previous Ping models. The greatly reduced offset and workability of these irons is a vast improvement also. The short irons are laser like and the long irons are very smooth and solid. The SW leaves me a little cold. It is fine out of the sand but find it to be very short out of the grass. I solved that by getting the U wedge and that solves the problem for me from 65 to 110 yards. The custom fitting program by Ping is also excellent. Overall a very solid high quality iron. Customer Service Excellent had to have a wedge reshafted and had it in 10 days. Similar Products Used: EVERYTHING !!! |

None As a scratch golfer searching for a set that I can hit the long irons with better results. The Ping i3 irons are very forgiving for better players seeking boring ball flight. Easy to hit high and low shots. In fact, I love to show off the low wormburner shots and high moonshots on the range with this set of irons. Similar Products Used: None |

I had submitted a review about 2 months ago and wanted to give a follow up. I am playing even better with these irons than I thought I would. They were forgiving and accurate when I gave my last review, but now my confidence in their performance is so far above what I achieved in 2 years with my Taylor Made LCG's that I feel if I get a good drive off the tee I have a shot at a par or birdie on every hole (still working on that good drive thing). With my Taylor Made's, I never achieved that level of confidence. I am also glad I went with the Blades instead of the O-Size. The way the Blades perform, I don't think I would want another club like the LCG's which might make a lazy or poor shot look acceptable. The 1 iron is almost as long as many of my drives and far more accurate. The sand and lob wedges work very well, comparable but not superior to my Cleveland RTG's I used to play, though I have backed up a couple of shots with my pitching wedge into the green which I have never done before. Great set of sticks that I recommend you give a try! Similar Products Used: Taylor Made LCG |

Switched up from Eye2's that were fading, delivered in less than a week. After only a few hitting sessions I can already feel how the custom fitting helps balance my swing. These clubs are straight, straight, straight with a nice amount of spin. I love these clubs. Similar Products Used: DCI 981, PingI3 O-Size, Eye2, Mizuno Comps |

I have played these irons for two months now. Although I haven't really cut handicap strokes, I think that compared to the Ram blades that I have played for the past 5 years, the Pings are much more consistent. Fewer flyers and straighter shots. They have a very solid feel and give me a feeling of confidence to play any type of shot. I haven't found them much longer than the forged club except maybe in the 3 and 4 irons. I would recommend them to anyone wanting more consistency and control. Custom fit is the only way to purchase new clubs. I ended up with the ZZ shaft which gave me the best trajectory for my swing.
