Bought 3 to 9(wedges-Titleist Vokeys mild steel)Im not 100% satisfied with my i3's. I dont know if anyone else feels the same but i find the i3's feel shorter than my old clubs. And they dont give the same feedback as my old Mizuno pro-11's or the same accuracy. But they are 3 times more forgiving. If i dont start getting used to them i think i may have to change back to Pro-11's or mayb Callaway X-14 pro-series. Shelved Mizuno Grads... purchased i3 Blades due to setup, playability, and forgiveness. Tested TM 300 & Hogan Apex Pro - good clubs. Ping delivers as advertised - been playing i3's for approx 3 months and completely satisfied. Ping often critized for lack of 'feel' - however, when struck purely, the 'feel' and 'distance control' are equal to my forged Mizuno's. If looking for traditional setup w/extra forgiveness try the i3's - great clubs. Customer Service Not needed yet - but Ping has outstanding reputation for customer service. I3 Blade w/ZZ65 shaft
I previously owned a set of Ping ISI BeCu irons and just was not happy with the weight of the clubs. Before getting fitted I assumed I would end up with the O-size model. But I hit the I3 blade much better and it felt better. Even though I am a high handicapper due to inability to get in enough rounds, I am a feel player. And the I3 blades provide the feedback I like with the potential to meet my needs when I do take my game to the next level. I highly recommend these clubs to anyone who likes a traditional set-up in their irons. They are very accurate. I have made a tremendous improvement in my ball-striking in just three months. I have to say these are by fr better than my Titleist 962's. I tried some out where I work. They were the courses demos. I also tried the new Ping Tisi Tec. A Wal-Mart driver is probably better than that thing, but the i3 blades are sweet. I hit both the 962's and the i3's and the i3's were outstanding. I need to get some but the PIng Price is a bit high. Similar Products Used: Titleist 962, Ping ISI, Adams Tour irons, Nicklaus Air Bears. |

i3 Blade Rifle Flited 5.5 Shafts
I was getting bored with my Ping Eye 2 BECU irons, so I decided to pick up a set of i3 Blades. I was able to purchase the 3-PW, along with the SW and LW with the Ping "L Grind" for $580 According to Ping the Blades are supposed to be less forgiving than the Eye 2's. I have found the i3 Blades to be far superior in terms of both distance and accuracy. I am able to work the ball when I need to, however, a normal swing produces a straight and long shot. These irons are probably one club longer than my Eye 2's and much more accurate. To be honest I do not know if the improvement is from the i3 clubhead's forgiveness features, or the Rifle Flited 5.5 shafts. Either way, they make a great combination. I have even put my 7 wood away, because the long irons are easy to hit. If you are currently playing with Eye 2's you may want to give the i3's a chance. Customer Service Customer Service is great if you call them or mail clubs in for repair. But don't waste your time E-mailing them with a question. You will be retiring from the Senior Tour before they answer. Similar Products Used: Ping Eye 2's, Armour 845 Ti Face, Ping Eye's |

I/3 Blades
Played the I/3 Blades for a year. Wish I would have went with the OS model instead. The Blades offered minimal forgiveness and were even harsh feeling at times, I decided I may as well be playing forged blades which are more attractive. Had a chance to hit the OS a few times and they were much more in line with what you should expect out of a cast club. Eventually went with the Callaway X-14 Pro Series, which is easier to hit, offers better feel, has a profile similar to the I/3 blades and still gives you the ability to work the ball. If you are a better player than I, I'm sure the I/3's would be an excellent choice. But if I could play them consistently, I'd probably be choosing a forged iron like the MacGregor V-Foils (gorgeous sticks). Customer Service very good Similar Products Used: Ping ISI, MacGregor PCB Tour, Callaway X-14 |

The best irons I have ever played. You know immediately if you''ve hit a good shot, and it''s forgiving on those slight misses. I have the Dynamic Gold S300 shafts: ball flight is easily controlled and very consistent. Customer Service As previously mentioned: Lifetime guarantee is hard to beat. I even sent my Ping Tisi driver in and got it repainted for free. Similar Products Used: The Taylor Made 300 blade is a great iron, but not quite as good as the i3 |

I purchase 11 irons (2 - L.W.) and have never been so pleased with a golfing purchase. They look clean and sit beautifully behind the ball, the wedges in particular are very compact (not like some of Pings former offerings). The irons do not have a big head but do not let this put you off, there is plenty of forgivness hear so you are getting the best of both worlds. The fitting process is vital (I have JZ stiff shafts, and a one degree upright spec.) but is simple to do. Please try these irons before spending a lot of money on other sets that you may be selling on sooner than you may want to. Customer Service Pings is second to none, what else can you buy and get a lifetime gaurantee with?
