Recently purchased O size irons. Short irons were ok, but long irons hard to hit on a proper trajectory. Purchased G2irons. Short and long are easy to hit, with plenty of distance. I'm a senior golfer. These clubs are very forgiving. One suggestion... Don't purchase these clubs without getting fitted. With Ping's color coding, grip size, and proper shaft, you'll be a lot happier. Customer Service Excellent Similar Products Used: Ping 0-Size, Eye 2, Callaway x-14 Pro, Cleveland ta-3, Cleveland ta-7. |

I change my old callaways X-12 for the Ping G2. and they improve my game. Very forgiving, a little less distance (b'cause they are more lofted) but more accuracy. The ball trajectory is high. They performe incredible from any lie, and are fun to play. Great clubs, and with the fitting, make a difference. Customer Service Excelent. Similar Products Used: Callaway x-12, x-14, and BB. Ping G2's
After adjusting to the offset, these babies are easy swinging. I have 2 sets with different shafts. With the release of G5s and I5s, you can pick up a set very reasonably on Ebay. They like to go straight, but can be worked if need be. I have replaced the PW with a Vokey 48* wedge as the PW is a little too bulky and has too much bounce for me Customer Service Not used but by reputation great Similar Products Used: You name it |

Ping G2
After about a 7 year layoff from golf, I decided to get back into the game. I had been playing with some old SquareTwo Irons that I had owned for about 14 years. After reading the reviews from this site and going out to a manufacturer's demo day and hitting countless balls I decided with the G2's. It was a tough decision between the G2's and the Cobra 3100I/H. There was just something about the G2's that gave me confidence. It was nice to know that my clubs were going to be fitted for me from a Ping Certified Fitter by a proven technique. I am a silver with 2" extra length. It did take almost 6 weeks for my clubs to come in, but I was told I had an unusal fitting. I have played about 12 rounds with the clubs and I must say they are very easy to hit and very forgiveable. I would recommend these clubs to anyone who is looking for a game improvement club. My game contiues to improve with the clubs and I hope to break 90 real soon. I was a little shocked when I found out about the G5's but Oh Well!! Ill guess Ill have to play my G2's for many years to come. Customer Service I have not had to use them and Ping builds such great products, I probably wont. |

Ping G2 irons
Bought a set of G2 irons 3 months ago and they are the best golf purchase I have made.My handicap has come down from 21 to 17 over the period and should be going down more soon. Had problems breaking 100 during an annual golf visit to USA. This year never over 100 and two rounds in the 80's. Nice high flight with consistent distance about 10 yards further than my old Taylormade clubs. The offset takes some getting to used to but that only adds benefit as a concentration aid when lining up to the target. Customer Service Excellent. Always ready to answer any queries. |

After playing several rounds with these clubs I've got to say these clubs are pretty good. Obviously better then my last "beginners set" from Walmart. These clubs do hit the ball rather high when struck properly. You can get spin with these clubs just like you would with a forged blade which I thought was very nice considering the soft-light feeling you get when you strike the ball correctly. Buying these clubs off the rack at the store is probably the stupidest thing one could do if you plan on buying these clubs. I think that Ping prides themselves on fully customizing their clubs for their customers, because it really does make a difference. I purchased a set that is cut 1/4", 1* flat, and 1/32" (aqua) thinner grip, and I absolutely love them. Customer Service Received these custom clubs in 5 business days after ordering them at a local shop. Pretty damn good, considering my Callaway Heavenwood took a month to be made and sent. Similar Products Used: Pro Kennex Tour 3-Pw, Taylor OS2 (just as nice), Mizuno MX-23 (great clubs also) the Taylor's and Mizuno's are comprable so test 'em all out! |

Ping G2
I picked up golf earlier this year because I was bored. I got bit by the bug and since then it's been a battle to keep my bank account in positive numbers. I was playing a set of Ping Karsten IIIs that had been used by every member of my family and were pirchased when my mom was pregnant with me. I figured if I was going to play this game, using sticks from the 80s wasn't going to work. I went to the local golf house and was fitted for some G2s. Having irons fit to me is incredible. It seems like the less effort I put into my swing the further the ball wants to jump off the face. They cost me $750, but they were fit to me, and they showed up in a week. Customer Service I spent an hour with a Ping authorized fitter. Not only did he set me up with the right irons for me, but also diagnosed why pushed so many shots |

G2 irons
I have been palying the cleveland ta3 irons for some time now and decided to go with something a little more forgiving. Tested several clubs and decided to go with the G2. I got fitted and I recommend you do the same. These clubs are absolutely wonderful. Very forgiving, easy to get the ball in the air, about 10 yards longer than my other clubs, and great feel at impact. negatives? a little bulky, and too much offset, but this should not discourage you especially when you see the ball take off with much ease. Customer Service very good, got the clubs from ping in one week. |

G2 Black Dot - Stiff - Steel
Before I bought these clubs I was hitting 8 year old clubs I bought in high school. This year I decided to really step up my game and took a few lessons and got these amazing new clubs. I went from shooting 110's to 90's, knocking almost 20 strokes off my game. My goal is to shoot in the 80's by the end of season and the G2's are key to my success. There's no comparing my old junk to these clubs. The sweet spot is huge and even minor mis-hits go straight. Don't be fooled by some of these reviews though, if you have a bad swing you will hit a bad ball no matter what club is in your hand. When you hit the ball correctly there is nothing like it. It's silent and crisp and the ball just soars off the club. I am able to hit the ball the same distance as my old clubs but with slower swings speeds (thus more control). I highly recommend the HL clubs as well. I only went with the HL in the 4 iron and regret not getting the 5 iron HL. I've never had a problem hitting my 5 iron so didn't even think about it but the HL clubs are a whole new animal. They are extremely easy to hit and the results are phenomenal. Overall I couldn't be happier w/ my set, I just need to work on my technique so I can get the most out of these bad boys. Customer Service Slow turn-around due to unexpected surge in demand, but overall the best in the business. Similar Products Used: Nothing worth comparing. |
