Eye 2 PLUS
I have had Ping irons for years. Pretty much learned to play golf with them. Zing 2 irons, Ping ISI irons, Ping I3 irons. I got my handicap down to single digits one season, Then, for some unknown, STUPID reason ( I thought I was a better golfer than i actually am ! ) I decided to trade them in for something else. Well- my iron play went gradually down hill and my handicap went up. So it took me a while to find them but I recently bought a set of used Ping 2 plus irons with ZZ lite stiff shafts, with the same specs that I used to have. The first few rounds I was hitting the ball well with them but when I missed the target I was missing left. So I had them regripped with slightly oversized grips and VIOLA straight as an arrow. No hooks and no slices ! I am even able to hit fades on demand with the shorter irons which I could never do bafore. And, even though the irons I bought are used the irons still spin the ball on greens. I have noticed the 3 and 4 long irons dont carry the ball as far as the other irons I have had, Callaway and TaylorMade for example but the short irons are more accurate. But I have a hybrid to use in place of the 3 iron. I would recommend these irons to anyone. I would also get fitted before you buy- the right set up for you will make all the difference. Customer Service Used in the past. Great response. Similar Products Used: Everything ! Ping ISI, ZING2's, I3 irons. Callaway irons, Taylormade, Titleist blades. |

I have writen many reviews on many irons on this site. The ping eye 2 is back in my bag forever. It may not be the longest! But it is the most accurate and forgiving club on the planet.AZINGER-LUMPY-CALCAVECIA and a host of pros still use them. What do we want bogeys or pars. This club is still the best choice of scracth and high hcpers alike!Hands down.Ping needs to make a non offset of this model for the pros and forget evrything else. Customer Service Ping is still the best service around and still made in the U.S.A. Similar Products Used: mizuno-titliest-taylormade and everything else.

I picked up a set a year ago now 1-SW green dot and have found these to be the most perfectly designed set of clubs. I feel just as creative wtih these as my mp29's. I don't see myself ever playing another set. Now just to fill in the rest of my bag. |

Ping Eye 2+ BeCu
I bought the Ping Eye 2+ BeCu full set irons for $400 back in '97 (3-9,PW,SW). I didn't know much about golf back then, however, now i'm shooting in the 80's, I still like them. I dont get the distance much but I get the accuracy & feel I want. My dad has the Goldwin AVDPs. Pretty easy to hit with good distance. I'm not planning to change my clubs unless it breaks. But I dont think it will. Customer Service Changed the grips Similar Products Used: Goldwin AVDP |

Ping Eye 2+
Well, having played mizuno and wilson blades for the last few years, I decided to go retro and bought myself a set of Ping Eye 2+, green dot. Went out for the first time today in a local tournament and shot 81, best round for a while.

ping eye 2 irons are the best you can get, they are cheap without them being a knockoff like the rest. These clubs can be used for begginers to scratch golfers, they work great. The thing I like most is the backspin when landing on the green. It stops instantly on impact so you don't have to wonder how far it will roll. |

Eye 2
It's the fall of 2006 and I still have the Ping Eye 2 BeCu lob wedge (black dot) that I bought back in 1989 in my golf bag. I use it in the sand. I use it from the fairway. I use it from the rough. It is probably the only club that I will never replace. Similar Products Used: Cleveland
