I bought the T-Zoid Sure''s early this season and have truly enjoyed them. This is the first brand-name set I have owned, in the past I have purchased clones of highend brands. Wanting to get my handicap down I decided to buy an entry model and decided on the "most popular club on the PGA tour". Like many of the golfer''s who have submitted reviews I agree that you cannot find better value, playability, or confidence in the club. The previous set I owned was a Callaway X-14 clone, I hit the iron 170 yards, the t-Zoid''s are 185 with a seemingly effortless swing. The one thing which these clubs made me do was learn to hit the ball with less force and simply make a good swing. These clubs have contributed to a very serious case of golf-addiction, I can''t get enough of the game and am now wondering if the MP-33''s or T-Zoid Pro''s will get me to next level? As a sidebar, I caddied in the Eagle Creek Classic, Tournament Players Championship earlier this month. I was very interested to see what the pro''s actually used for equipment. I was astonished to see that most used older clubs, and they were typically forged. Of the golfers I was able to get close to the majority played Mizuno - I will be a dedicated Mizuno customer for a long time.

So far the best set of irons I've ever owned or tryed, much more forgiving and easier to hit then my old Armours 845's or my brothers Cleveland TA5's and my dad's Titleist DCI 990's. The response from the clubs is exceptional there is no vibration back to the hands just a solid feel even on off center hits. I use to have trouble hitting 3 irons in the past but the mizuno 3iron is simple to smash sraight and far I hit it roughly 180-190 which is really good for me. I only drive the ball about 230 with a callaway steelhead+ driver. Good clubs for all golfers very recommended.

This club is very forgiving and the long irons feel solid. I sugest these clubs to people who want to get distance even if its a mis hit. You can hit the ball on the toe and it still goes far.

I am still a high-handicap golfer therefore I can't say whether these club will cut back any strokes just yet. I got these clubs with Regular Steel Sensicor shaft, last week since my old clubs were too heavy. I played a couple of rounds and a few times on the range. One thing for SURE I noticed is the exceptional feedback when you hit a good shot and for the first time mishit did't hurt my hands!

Like I said, in terms of distance and control I don't have any comment just yet since' my shots/swing are still unstable anyways it's probably too soon to judge.

anyways, if you are looking for a set of clubs that feels good from the moment you hold it in your hand to finish hitting the ball, get the SURE irons! (tho I don't think they make them anymore)

Model Reviewed: mizuno t-zoid sure irons

I just started playing the game of golf in march and was using a set of powerbilts I had recieved from my friend. In about 15 rounds of golf I was consistantly shotting between 105-100. In june I purchased the mizuno's sure irons with true temper dynamic gold S300 shafts and truthfully lowered my 28 handicap to 17 handicap in two weeks of play. I must say that these clubs definately had alot to do with it, they are very forgiving and easy to hit, the feel of the ball off the club face even when hit off center feels great, like hitting a piece of meat. I recommend these clubs to anyone who has trouble hitting long irons and anyone who is new to the game these clubs will amke it alot more fun to play.

After a 20 year absence from golf, I knew I needed a set of irons that would be easy on the arms & shoulders of a senior golfer. I tried Taylor Mades, Prince, Adams, and Mizuno Sures-all clubs had regular graphite shafts. I decided on the Mizuno's as they are very forgiving clubs for the higher handicapper like myself. I never had confidence to use the 3,4, or 5 irons, but even these irons are smooth feeling and give me distance I never imagined. The 8,9 irons have a great feel and super control. Thus far, I feel the graphite shafts and the Mizuno clubs were an excellent choice for some one re-entering the game of golf.

What a awsome set of irons I just played my first round with these and all I can say is WOW they a Long and forgiving and you get good feedback for a cast club. I bought these because of the reviews that I have read on this web site and boy am I glad I did. I was really impressed with the long irons, I hit them with ease long and straight even when I missed the sweet spot they still flew good. I would recommend these clubs to anyone not just high handicapers. a friend with me today is about a 5 handicap and he hit them and really liked the feel I wouldn't be surprised if he bought some soon.

I love these clubs! I did as much internet and drving range research as I could before buying a set of clubs and these were the easy choice for me when the dust settled. I'm a bogey golfer and hope to get closer to a 10 hndcp with these. After reading reviews on this site I tried out Ping i3, Mizuno Comp EZ, Cobra CXI, TaylorMade SuperSteel, and the Mizuno Sures. I found the Sures to be the easiest to hit hard and straight, with fat and thin shots still going straight but with less distance of course. I also found like other reviews that the PW gets a little to much distance for my liking (120-130) so I'll keep my old PW in my bag for shorter shots. The long irons are easy to hit too, I never used anything lower than a 5iron before, but I can get a good 225yds from the 3iron now.
I liked the feel of the graphite shafts but not enough to justify the price difference (about $250US). I got regular flex golf shaft.

The Cobras and Pings were also good clubs but not as consistent for me, i struggled with the TMs and Comp EZ a bit. If its true that Sures are being discontinued I would try them out while you can.

2nd set of clubs, however, tried several others. Have been playing about 1 yr and hit a 39 on the last nine I played. I love these clubs. I seem to hit them straight and long with a very easy swing. I have tried other Mizuno clubs that were more expensive and still prefer the Sures. I don't know how to judge forgiveness but it must be good!
