Took up golf 7 months ago and just recently got these new in the box with factory Rifle 5.5 shafts, 2-PW. These irons feel great. SWEET when you hit the sweet spot and plenty of feedback when don''t with very little loss of distance. They love to hit the ball straight and I need all the help I can get. These irons will last me a long time as my game progresses.

These are a great set of irons. They hit longer than most due to the fact that they are slightly lower lofted than other irons. (but your playing partners don''t have to know that) The club is weighted beautifully. You can really feel where the club head is throughout your entire swing. The Sures are also very forgiving. I''ve noticed an instant improvement in my scores since switching to this set. To sum up, these clubs are long, straight, forgiving on mis-hits and cheap!

I took up golf a few years ago, using a full set of pro select diamond backs, very in expensive clubs. My game quickly progress to the point at where I now shoot consistantly in the ''''''''80''''''''s. I have a nasty slice with a wood, and therefore love to play my irons. I was looking for a club to I could use to progress my game to the next level. I noticed these clubs on a clearance sale and couldn''''''''t resist. I hit them a few times in the store, and hand them fitted then walked out with them before ever hitting them on the course. I have now had the opportunity to do just that, and I must say I love every penny that I spent. No wonder Mizuno makes the best irons. Seems like the ball hits the sweet spot ever time with a very effortless swing, and I''''''''m hitting a good 5-10 yards longer per club while using a slower swing. I have found a new ability to work a draw shot (despite my nasty slice with woods) and have been able to land the ball more softly creating some more favourable puts. If you can get your hands on a pair of these clubs they are great for improving your game. I will be a loyal Mizuno fan for some time, if not the rest of my career.

I bought these irons used, but in excellent condition. I loved them immediately. Very forgiving, I have yet, through 30 rounds, to hit a bad shot where the club feels like a tire iron. I put the Winn oversize grips on them and already I am hitting in the 80''s.

I had this clubs for about a year now but decided to hold off on the comments until I can get my iron games in order. After about 7-8 rounds and countless hours on the range, I can honestly say that these are great clubs. These are good looking clubs that are straight and easy to hit. The distance is about average. I do have some problem hitting the long irons but honestly could not blame that on the clubs themselves. I would recommend this club wholeheartedly for any beginner golfer who is coming along and wants to get a club for the long haul. Especially at the prices it''s going at right now, it''s really is a great bargain if you can find one. My only concern right now is if I would have a hard time getting a replacement clubs if one of them breaks. I would be totally heartbroken....

After ditching my starter set for more quality clubs I ran across a few choices which included Cobra CXIs, Taylor Made SuperSteels, and Ping Eyes. I chose the Sures because they felt right, the weight was perfect and the large sweet spot really got the ball going. I felt that the CXIs were too club head heavy, the Supersteels not heavy enough, and i just couldn''t get myself to like Ping''s hockey sticks. The clubs are fairly long (for me, 7 iron - 162yds) and I get a little spin with them. I am very happy with the set and will probably purchase from Mizuno again when I graduate to blades.

These irons are great for your game and light on your wallet. I bought these irons because I wanted a second set and wanted to try steel shafts. My total cost, including the matching fairway wedge, was $375 Cdn. I bought the fairway wedge based on the recommendations of others. These irons hit the ball straight or with a slight draw or fade. They are very forgiving. The distances I hit these irons are similar to my King Cobra II with graphite shafts. The big difference is that these clubs are more forgiving and cost me less money. As these clubs are being discontinued, now is the time to pick up a set. The deals are great and the selection is still not bad. The only problem you may have is finding a matching fairway wedge. I recommend buying the fairway wedge because the loft difference between the pithcing wedge and a standard sand wedge is about 8 degrees (ie. 2 club lengths). The other irons I was thinking about buying were the Cleveland TA5''''s, Wilson Fatshafts, or Top-Flite XL2000. All these irons are rated highly, but I chose the Mizuno''''s based on value. All the other irons mentioned above were about $200 more, and that''''s not including the fairway wedge.

Wow what a great set of irons !! I purchased these on ebay after reading many of the reviews writen here. My first trip out with these was not good as I did not practice with them at the driving range first, my second trip out I knocked several strokes off my game, third trip out I broke a hundred for the first time !!. They are very forgiving clubs, and good swings are highly rewarded dead straight. I purchased the sensicore steel shafts and could not be happier. Get a set of these while you can as Mizuno has discontinued them, you can find great deals online.

Bought these clubs without demos. Took a chance buying the clubs because the reviews here were excellent. THANKS to everyone for posting a review!!! Make a decent swing and the ball goes!!! I''''''''''''''''m amazed after every shot I hit... Sweet!!BEST clubs I have ever hit. Tried them all. Every shot with these are solid and straight. Club sets up well and feels great. Clubs are not heavy or light, feel just right. Can work the ball both ways. Three wedges came with set and play well. Have to add a lob wedge (don''''''''''''''''t make Sure lob). Pitching wedge is strong at 45 degrees so you will need a gap wedge with this set. BUY these clubs while still available!!!

My second set of clubs, honestly thought new clubs wouldn''t make a difference, but I was wrong. Noticed an immediate difference in distance, feel, and straightness. Club feels solid and the grips are excellent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a very good set of irons.
