After using it for a year, I'm feeling more confident to write a review now. This iron is straight. Period. I don't think it's longer than other popular irons like Taylor Made or Titlest, but boy is it straight. It's almost impossible to slice or hook with this one. It's a bit heavy, but the feel is great. Feedback is accurate and mis-hits are still straight. I bought it right after I started golfing. My score came from 100+ down to the 90s within a year. Yesterday I broke 90 the first time in my life: shot an 85 on the same course I played many times. I'm still feeling good today. This iron is one big reason for this good game. I've played these clubs for over a year now anf finally feel ready to post: They are very forgiving, and have a pretty soft feel compared to other cavity back game-improvement irons that I've played. They are super long (about a half club longer than anything else I've played). The problem is they are a little too lon, hard to measure consistent distances at times, and are only decent in terms of workability - or maybe that's just me ;) A fantastic deal, if you can still find them, for the golfer shooting in the mid 80s and up. Sure, Sensi-Core Gold Steel Shaft
These are outstanding sticks. I have been using Taylor Made LCG w/ bubble graphite shafts. I really thought that the TM's were a little too light. I could not feel the head through the swing. Also, I was losing alot of shots to the left(I know, I probably needed a stiffer shaft). The biggest problem is that I did not have good distance control. I tried the sures in a pro shop, and loved the solid feel. I tried them in a stiff graphite shaft. I found them in a sensi-core steel shaft for $200, and decided to give them a try. What I have found out is that these are some very accurate, and most importantly, very consistant. These clubs are straight-shooters, so do not expect to be able to work these clubs too much. I have found that mis-hits will go left to right. Thin hits go low, but hold their line pretty well. The club has the perfect amount of weight to it. As a bonus, the long irons are the most forgiving I have ever hit. This is a great golf club for high handicappers as well as mid to even low handicappers. If you can find these clubs, buy them. I found them for $200, but expect to pay between $200 to $400. It would be well worth your time to find these clubs and put them in your bag. Get this club. Excellent value, looks great, VERY forgiving, very easy to hit the huge sweetspot, easy to address, perfectly weighted (great feel), explosive distance. Not very workable but that's what you get in a game improvement club. I also recommend the True Temper Gold Plus Sensicore shafts and Golf Pride Sofftie grips (get the oversize grips if your big, I also extended the shafts). Similar Products Used: None |

Great clubs!! These clubs along with a few formal lessons have dramatically improved my game. I was playing a cheap starter set that took away from my confidince. With these new clubs, I swing away!! I have the "upright lie" version. Being a tall guy, these clubs feel like they were made just for me. Very forgiving, easy to hit. Customer Service I e-mailed mizuno usa asking for some specifications. That was two weeks ago and I have still heard nothing back. Thats my only complaint Similar Products Used: None |

I was looking for a set of irons to help me start improving my game. I read a lot about several clubs, but kept coming back to these. I hit Callaway X14, Hogen Apex Edge and several others. These are just as good (better than the Callaways) and costs a LOT less. Now I have $300 I would have spent on Callaway to spend on lessons! WOW! Just got back from hitting them for the second time. I can't believe these clubs! I am not good at all, but these clubs definatly make me better. What really blows me away is the value. I tried several other clubs & like these the best, better than all the ones that cost more. Similar Products Used: Cleveland TA5, Wilson Fat Shaft, Ram FX2, Toski TS2 |

I traded my callaway X-14's for these clubs and I truly love these irons more then my callaway's. It seem to me that I hit the ball straighter then ever. Customer Service Bought some new grips, Priced way to high. Similar Products Used: None |
