Great clubs. Easy to hit, but you can still work the ball and get good feedback. My only criticism is that the short clubs fly too far, with serious bunching from 6 to pitching wedge (for me ~160, 152, 144, 138, 130 yds respectively). The result is that I now have a 40 yard gap between my Cleveland lob wedge and the MX20 pitching wedge, and do not have an obvious club to drop from the set to allow me to carry another wedge. Mizuno should increase the distance separation of the more lofted clubs, bringing the pitching wedge back to 100. This is a common fault with modern irons where consumers buy distance (wow - I can hit my 8 iron 150!) even though distance for short clubs is irrelevant. Oh well, I still love them! I have been playing cavity backed forged irons for about 12 years ...tryed them all !! I had settled in on Mizuno T-Zoid Pro (the first version) and played them for 3 years. Last year I took a leap to the Taylor Made 300's ...a good iron, don't get me wrong but I was having problems with my shots running in on the face ...to the dreaded hossel. After putting up with that for 3 months I decided to they had to go. I visited my local golf shop and explained my problem. A gentleman that I have done business with for years never even stopped walking until we reached the MX-20's. He just said "Don this is for you" I hit them a couple of times off the mat and it felt like coming back home after a long journey ....and finding your house painted !! I took them to the course and fell in love. I have never hit a club that was that easy to hit and felt that good !!! Thanks Mizuno !!!!!!! It is a very forgiving forged iron and is great for mid handicapers and has took 4-7 strokes off my game and i played the taylormade 320's. These forged iron have feel and confidence that can improve your game to a higher level. The best the best the best. Similar Products Used: hogan apex |

These clubs are excellent. I was playing the Taylor Made 200 series and my game was starting to pick up so I wanted a club that I can learn to work, and that would continue with me as my game gets better. I hit absolutly everything, Cleveland, TM, Callaway, Adams...nothing feels like a forged club, I will never play cast again. I really wanted to love the Hogans, but they were just too heavy and the MacGregors were a little too "blade" like for me. These Mizuno's were the perfect balance or "players" club and are forgiving enough for someone like myself. Had them made to my specs by Mizuno, PGA tour van actually built them out, so they are perfect! Customer Service Mizuno is out of the mx-20 heads, so my rep got them made up in the tour van. excellent Similar Products Used: TM 320, Hogan Apex Edge, MacGregor v-foil |

I have played with these clubs in competion twice since I bought them. I had not managed to get below 100 so far this season but first time out shot a 98 with them and won the club Medal competion for the very high handicapper. During my second round I was on course for shooting in the mid-80's until I hit a hole-in-one with my 7 iron on the 128yd 8th hole at Kingussie, Inverness-shire. Still managed to be a couple better than the week before. I can't believe how well I am hitting the ball with these clubs as normally all companies hype up their products to make you think that they can make a bad golfer into a scratch player. With these clubs I truly think I can take 10 shots off my 26 handicap after years of mediocrity. Customer Service Originally wanted Comp EZs but were out of stock and got very valuable advice from Scottsdale. Included free BlueFire stand bag (wort approx. £90) after I told them the same clubs were available local Similar Products Used: RAM FX. Nice enough clubs for the beginner but too much offset if you improve your game suffieciently. |

I like these clubs, I like the feel and I like the look when you stand over the ball. My only criticsm is the weight - they're a touch too light 7iron+ for me, but then I've upgraded from Comp-EZ's (heavier)and they're amazing clubs too. Mizuno makes pure irons - I can feel that the MX-20's are better than my game - however they help me understand what I'm doing wrong, which helps me do it right! If you blame your gear for poor play don't buy these - you'll kid no-one. I rate 4 stars for value - even though I got them at a good price, I will have to pay again when I get them fitted. 4 stars overall until Mizuno puts a bit more weight in the high irons. Customer Service Always friendly Similar Products Used: Wilson Fatshaft(new ones), Taylormade 320, Ping i3. |

Let me just start by saying that these clubs ARE the best I've ever used. They have had a serious impact on my game since I bought them last April. I have won three club competitions and my habdicap has come down from 20 to 14 and these clubs have had a major part to play. Now for some history. I used to play with T-Zoid Pro II's and whereas I liked the feel of the forged club I could never really get consistant enough with them as they had small powerful heads and not much forgiveness. They were just too good for me playing off 20. So I decided enough was enough and a new set of clubs was needed but this time with no delusions of grandure when purchasing them. I was going for the Comp -EZ but my local mizuno store had MX-20's and I had a swing. The difference was dramatic and instant. More confidence over the ball, better trajectory, better consistancy. My only gripe, if you can call it that, was the loft in the PW to SW, which was 47 -> 57. This gap is far too big so I purchased a fairway wedge 52 degs and now I'm completely satisfied with the set. But as with most things in life the proof was in the pudding. I took these clubs on course and one my first comp shooting 44 point off 20. I then won the monthly medal ( notoriously hard for mid-high handicappers 0 with a net 65 off 19 ( which included a 10 on a par three... my bunker play needs some work !!! ). But I also stiffed four flags for 4 birdies. Then only last week, playing off 16 I had 78 points over 36 holes. I'm now down to 14 and I have the MX-20 to thank for the large part. I always had a decent swing, but now my bad shots are disguised by these new clubs into just loss of length rather than being way of target. I can't recommend these clubs highly enough ( as you can tell !! ) and I've used TM/Mizuno/Cleavland/Fazor. Customer Service Excellent. Had custom clubs fitted and deliverd bang on time. |

I have to agree with the majority of all the comments here. Confidence at address is improved, and distance and accuracy are both excellent, distance being at least a club further than my previous set. I have no regrets about this purchase and took a chance in purchasing from Cailfornia on ebay as the the savings are considerable when compared to here. I would thoroughly recommend these with no reservations for mid handicappers as well as low. |

Mizuno MX-20 Steel Stiff
I switched from TaylorMade SuperSteel regular flex graphite irons. Granted this is a huge change for me. I've played about 7 rounds with the Mizunos and I just love them. My greatest improvement has been in accuracy and confidence at address. Unlike others, I have not noticed a great deal of distance increase, but the ball goes exactly where I'm aiming and the distances are consistent. My playing partners are already getting tired of hearing me brag about what a great purchase I made and how pleased I am with these clubs. I had never purchased a Mizuno product before and now I am sold on Mizuno. A true bargain for a high quality forged club Customer Service Have not used.
