The MX-20's are the best! I've played forgiving clubs before. But you can really work these irons like a pro. The S300 shafts are great! With the forged head you can fell your shots. They are very forgiving with lots of distance. The irons have real distance compared to others. They look great! The heads are soft so protect them. The grips are excellent! The sound is crisp when hit well. You will really love these clubs....... Similar Products Used: Cobra OS, Cleveland TA4 , Rams, |

If you are searching for the absolute best forged, game-improvement iron currently available, you can now end your search. These are simply the highest quality, most forgiving, best balanced forged clubs available. I recently took delivery of a set of 3-PW, SW, LW fitted with Dynalite Gold S-300 with Sensicore. The feedback you receive when hitting these clubs is tremendous. They are very easy to square at impact. Can't say enough. If you buy these clubs at Discount Dan's without Sensicore, they will run you $529. Excellent value! Customer Service Discount Dan's customer service is very responsive and knowledgeable. Simply put, these are the best clubs on the market. I am a mid 80's golfer and my last three sets of clubs have all been Callaway (x-12, x-14, 2002 Big Bertha). I loved all of those clubs, but since I got my mx 20's, I have gone from a mid-80's golfer to a high 70's player and I can attribute that to the clubs. I just can't believe the greatness of these irons, if you are planning on spending $600 plus on a set of irons, do yourself a favor and buy the mx20's, nothing in its class even comes close! Customer Service Tremendous! Similar Products Used: Callaway x-12,x-14,BB2002, Cleveland TA-7, Ping I3, Zevo, Titelist DCI. All of those are great clubs, but nothing compares to the Mizuno MX20 |

Purchased MX-20's 3-PW 6 weeks ago, dropped 5 to 7 strokes from the second round I played and have continually stayed 5 - 7 strokes better. Clubs were fitted at golf Gear and retained stock R300 Dynamic Gold shafts and Mizuno grips. I've picked up 10 - 15 yards per club. Shots are more solid and straighter than my Pings, with no vibration and I've even backed up a couple pitching wedges to the green. Thanks Mizuno. Have played with these for about two months now and have seen scores go from low 90's to low 80's. Mostly due to approach shots hitting the greens. Bought 5-PW and Mizuno LW, GW, and SW. Had Rifle 5.0's put in the irons and Spinners put in the wedges. Had length and lie adjusted as well. Feel is wonderful and watching the ball go straight is a kick. Best part is adding up the card and realizing I'm just 2-3 strokes away from the 70's. Have played for 40 years and I know it's not just the clubs. Having the right shaft, grip, length, and lie makes as much/more difference than just the club head. Great Stix! Customer Service egolfdirect.com had Mizuno build them to my specs. Rapid delivery (lefty). RH may have to wait longer due to head availability. Similar Products Used: Mizuno Comp EZ, Top Flite 2000, Callaway (yuck). |

I'm looking to get a new set of irons(forged are truly best), and have hit most all of the top brand forged clubs(Mizuno,Titleist, Ben Hogan,Taylor Made, Precept,MacGregor etc) as well as a few cast clubs. The MX -20 is well balanced and easy to put a good swing on the ball. It also ranks high as being one of the more forgiving forged irons I've tried--well suited for even higher handicappers. It also has a very unique feel when struck on the sweet spot--crisp yet soft is the only way I can describe it. Solid, yet not to the same degree as the muscle back MP-33. The MP-33, being a blade, has a sweet spot about the size of a quarter, however. I only hit the club indoors into a net, so I cannot say anything about ball flight/distance/workability. The only gripes I have about the club is that the club head is a bit too large for my tastes, and the club does not respond well when a ball is struck high on the club face--the result is kind of a torquing rattle feel. In fact, despite having smaller club heads, both the Hogan Edge Pro's and the Precept Tour Premium CB's are more solid over a wider area of clubface. The MX-20 is forgiving, but it should be more so for a clubhead that size. A fine club overall, but that fact alone (plus, I just don't think low to mid handicappers like clubheads that large) has me giving the MX-20 a 4 out of 5 rating Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: Titleist 690,690cb. My usual game is in the high 80's. Since acquiring the mx 20's I've averaged 84. The irons are responsible for the improvement. You have to hit them with authority every time, but if you do they are consistently accurate and fairly forgiving. I added the sensicore shafts as I'm in my late 50's and glad of it as there is very little vibration on an off center strike. Customer Service Dans discount golf was great and the Mizuno service excellent. |

If you're hitting it good and your swing is on, these things are like throwing darts. But like anything else "non-shovel" like, if your off, there are no miracles here. Which long-term, is a good thing. You don't get away w/ bad swings, so the feedback helps you fix the bad swings before they become habit. Still the only set of irons with which I have hit 9 GIR out of 9 in a 9 hole round. Tough course, too....Arrowhead at Myrtle Beach. Customer Service n/a |

I've decided to place an order for the Gap and Sand wedges after my first review and playing a few times. I don't like Lob wedges and have an old Stiff steel Rifle TM LCG if I want one that works extremely well. I prefer a 4-wood to fill out the set. Lob has it's limited place though. The MX-20 Pitching wedge is as good as the the Mizuno Sure P-Wedge, and maybe better - higher - as long - straighter and stops real fast. Controllable from 115-135. The 9-iron is is almost border line too long, seriously. I've gained 15 yards over my old TM320 on the nine iron. It's very weird whacking the 9-iron from 150 after being used to 130 and wondering where the 8-iron will be effective from - 160? Next year to figure that out. The 9 can be controlled by 34 swing and some choking down. You game improvement guys should check these out. I really could care less about long irons, yet these are acceptable. It's easy to hit consistency from 170 in that really counts. Grips really grip and tear gloves fast. I'll re-post next spring after 10 rounds.
