amazing...im only a teenager...but a responsible one and have been saving up for a car since i turned 5....10 years later i had only 1500$ and didnt think i had a chance for a car...i took up golf 1 year ago and went to the fitting center and bought these for a discount for being under 18....i love them

i recommend them

only if like me..you go to the range 4-5 days a week because it is HARD to hit these consistently in that if you want to hit your 9 iron 140 yards consistently straight you need to put in time and EFFORT

other than that THESE ARE BASICALLY THE BEST IRONS AVAILABLE right now

Customer Service

excellent, got them next day for an extra 150$

My Hncp has dropped from 8 to 4 (practice lots a practice) and thought I,d try a blade. I was very worried that I would miss the forgiveness of my Taylor Made OS2 but I havent in the least.
The MP60 sets up beautifully with what appears a good size head without the huge top line of the Game improvement clubs. I have lost no distance and even off center hits are acceptable. Working the ball is a dream and the ball flight is lower (great here in Texas winds)
The bottom line is I love these clubs and would recommend them to anyone who wants to try a blade.

Retired my forged TaylorMade 300's for these beauties. The heads feel very soft at impact, and trajectory is somewhat higher than my previous, although lofts and shaft are the same(S300). Be sure to get these fitted, mine were custom ordered, +1/2", 2* up and +1/32 grip, came with build sheet. I had these checked for accuracy and they are absolutely perfect, as many other custom ordered irons have NOT been. Short irons have perfect bounce/leading edge and make chipping much easier. Square them up and it's at the flag every time. Great irons!

Customer Service

Don't know, assembly and custom specs are industry benchmark. Only 11 days from time of order.

First of all - don't let your iron play be characterised by your overall handicap. You may be a 28hcp putter, a 14hcp short game player and a 5hcp striker of an iron. Keep an open mind when picking a set of clubs and go with what'll give you the most satisfaction.

To the review - as a player of MP37s I wanted something that would take a little bit of pressure off without knackering my ball flight or making me feel I'd sold my soul to game improvement. I tried titleist's latest efforts and was disappointed with the feel and feedback. My pro suggested MP32s and MP60s and the 60's won hands down. 95% of the feel for 50% of the grief. No contest. Custom fitted with flighted rifles to keep the short irons down and I couldn't be happier. Unexpected bonus of funky blue grips!

Customer Service

As good as any manufacturer. 5 days to deliver custom clubs can't be bad!

When I last bought new irons a plus cap player talked me out of MP 30s saying that his view was that I needed game improvement irons and commented how bad it hurts if you can’t play the weekend at an important amateur event because you missed too many greens and made a couple of bogeys.

I chose and like my Cleveland TA7 Tours, but every winter at the net in the golf store, I always “demo’d” Mizunos. The feel of the clubs is just incredible.

Last Fall, I put the original cut muscle iron 6 iron demo in my bag a few times and I really didn’t have that much trouble with it, despite my 12 cap. Then, I decided to switch out my 3 and 4 irons for Mizuno Fli-Hi hybrids. There forged, feel good, can be bent easily, are forgiving and can be used around the green and from under trees.

One cold Winter’s night it hit me, I do not play serious amateur golf. I can always play the second weekend day, if my wife lets me. If I lose $15 in a $3 dollar Nassau, I won’t miss lunch. What do I really have to lose hitting clubs that feels so great? Even if they are harder to hit, all I’m loading is 5-W. Won’t I be fine?

So, I make a fitting appointment at the same place in Southington, CT, mentioned in post #1. I hit MP60 6 irons with Rifle 5.5, 6.0, Project X, TT S300s, Nippon. We used a launch monitor. The S300s, which were in my TA7Ts, seemed to have the best dispersion and were nearly identical in distance to my TA7T – about 165 with the 6 iron. But felt so much sweeter with a good swing. The last demo iron I tried was shafted with TT S300 SL. It was 0.5 longer than standard, which helped because my standard TA7Ts were 2* up. The superlight needed to go 1* up and tightened my dispersion, increased the feel of the sweet irons and I gained 13 yards average carry! The swing weight is the same as the S300 but the shaft is 20% lighter so there is a swing speed gain.

I ordered them with Sensicore and the nifty blue Tour Velvet Cords, made just for Mizuno.

I really like the clubs. I have also realized that I undervalued or did not understand how feel helps you play well. I am so driven to make direct center, down the line, contact that I am making better swings with these clubs. Better tempo. Shorter, deeper swings with better rhythm. When I miss, I know where on the face I hit it, or how my path was off, or that I got stuck. There is this strange voodoo connection between the nerves in my hands and my subconscious and my swing is just better. There is no “thought” to the better swing, its like the mind says to itself go find that good feeling and produces a swing to generate the sensation. The condom analogy above is crude, but apt.

I really believe that I am going to improve using these irons. By the way, TA7T are really forgiving and feel pretty soft for forged. The MP60s are not as forgiving but are more so than even Mizuno says. I think a 20 could probably play them and enjoy them on all but her or his most dismal ball striking days. Certainly, they could if the set goes only 5-W.

Mizuno clubs ain’t cheap, but the entire line is arguably the best in each niche. The X-tours are more dear, and not nearly as sweet. Mizuno is like the sword maker from Kill Bill 1 & 2. For me, the MP60s are the best.

In a word "Awesome". I have always been a fan of Mizuno irons. I played MP-33s for years. Last year I tried the MP-32s and I was let down. The new MP-60 is the best iron Mizuno has made since the MP-33. Very solid. Much more playable than the MP-32. I will keep these for a long time. Thank you Mizuno.

Customer Service

Perfect. No complaints!

I've had these clubs for about 6 weeks now - and decided to wait until I had more experience playing with them before reviewing. THe model I haveis Left hand, standard, with Dynamic Gold SL ( super lite) shafts, S300. I move d to these after playing Taylormade Rac LT2s, with Dynamic Gold S300. I love these clubs. Soft feel, small size (but not too small), confident leading edge ( not too round, but not too sharp) and beautifl looks. I initially considered getting them wit hregular flex, but with the DG SL, figured they'd be as easy as DG regulars, which proves to be true. Great shaft, easy to swing, and in STIFF they still play tight. Trajectory is not low, but average - but lower than the LTs ( which despite having the name LT - low trajectory, have a standard height of flight). Feel is nice - close to the buttery blades, and also feels solid. Distance control is brilliant, I tend t have gained 5-10 yards per club - roughly 1/2 to 1 club more than LTs ( probably due to shaft weight). Forgiveness is unbelievable. I thought I was moving up to something less tolerant than the LT2s and accepted this when purchasing, but these are much easier to hit, and despite that more rewarding in results - better distance control and tighter dispersion. They rate them for players under the 13 handicap range - I would easily extend this to app. 18-20 handicap as long as the tempo is not too fast (again maybe due to lighter shafts). Since getting them, I am playing my long irons more than before, and hitting them much more consistently. I still can't hit the Pitching wedge beyond 110 yards though ( same as LT2), which has to do with my swing.....My scores have improved by app. 1 to 2 points, due to a couple more rewarding shots per round. They are making me a better player, but the final result is more dependent on my bad shots than good ones. Scores have moved from an average of 77-78 to 76-77.

Customer Service

Mizuno service was great, but they deliver clubs with cusotm options (shafts, grips, loft, lie) quicker than they do standard - keep this in mind if ordering fro someone who does not have them in stock.

The Mizuno MP-60 irons are as great a set of irons as Angelina Jolie is sexy. First of all, just like Angelina this is a great looking set. Then after the initial infatuation, comes the first bucket of balls at the range. Thats when you realize that these irons are more than just a pretty face. The Mizuno MP-60's are also very talented. You are rewarded with a smooth gentle click when you hit it flush but you are not punished for miss hitting it either. Slight miss hits still have good distance and the feedback you receive from the miss hit will tell you exactly where you are missing it. As an 11-14 handicapper for the past 15 years, this increase in feedback has been the best thing to happen to my ball striking ability. My past two sets of irons were graphite shafted cavity backs. Because these former irons mask or adjust slight miss hits, minor flaws were not noticed, so they were never fixed. My MP-60's have the regular flex ultralight steel shafts. The wonderful feedback of these irons has increased my focus on hitting the ball perfectly and has given me the ability to work the ball a little. My three rounds with these clubs so far resulted in an 80, 78 & 79. I have never shot 3 rounds in a row like this before. I'm 5' 6", 150lbs, 47 years old with a driver clubhead speed of 88-90mph. My 7 iron goes 142 yards and 153 with my 6. (I am not a long hitter by any means, but have always been a consistent and straight ball hitter.) This is the exact same distance as my prior irons, however the MP-60 has a lower trajectory than my previous set. This may be another factor for lower scores as I play where wind is a factor. I recommend this club to 16 & under handicappers who are fairly straight and consistent ball strikers. If you are long and lost, this is not the club for you. It will not correct your mistakes! It will just point them out. Now if I could just get Angelina Jolie away from Brad Pitt as easily as I bought these clubs, life would be perfect.

Customer Service

Custom ordered the set from Mizuno through Nevada Bobs Golf. Took 3 weeks to receive, this was explained to me before I ordered, so I have no complaints.

Main reason for writing this review is to alleviate any fears that one might have in buying these `blade' type irons. I went from Ping irons with oversized heads to these tiny suckers. From the Pings, I couldn't tell a great difference in terms of distance and playability. In terms of feel and feedback however, the MP60 is worlds apart. Its the difference between having sex with and without a condom. There's nothing like hitting a pure shot with these babies. These clubs are also beautifully weighted. Good for promoting a smooth swing.
