Living in New England, I've only hit these clubs off the mat at ranges...so keep that in mind. I love the MP-60s. And my best score in the past five years of playing golf is a 94 (although I've played less than 10 times each year). As my addiction took off by the end of last season, I decided I needed new clubs. I went to my local fitter following Christmas after alot of research and was leaning towards the racOS2. But to be certain, I wanted to try all the game improvement irons at the outdoor range. The fitter was a big Mizuno fan, and suggested I give the new MP-60 a try. I panicked looking at it, but wanted to keep in open mind. I fell in love with it, and narrowed my search down to the MP-60 and racOS2. I then went on the launch monitor. It gave the Mizuno MP-60 better marks, but my fitter thought a shaft upgrade on the racOS2 would even them out so the decision was back to my "feel" for the two clubs. Went outside and hit TWO more buckets and just fell in love with the feel and flight of the MP-60. I was fitted and placed my order. Only after I came home and researched online did I learn that they are really "players" irons. Had I known this before hand, I likely would not have even considered them. I picked them up the other day and hit every club beautifully. While I'm a bit worried about how they'll handle out on the course (especially out of rough) I'm confident I chose the best iron for me. I learned that: It's critical to keep an open mind when trying clubs, and... What's right for someone else might be wrong for you. I hate the thick toplines of most game improvement irons...even the soles are too thick for my eye. These are the same things that a golfer I'm friends with (who is better than me) loves about his Big Berthas. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: King Cobra OS Irons |

First off, let me say I have been searching for the Holy Grail of irons for the past 2 years. Well, look no further! I have found them. These clubs are without a doubt the best forged clubs I have ever hit, and trust me I have hit them and owned them all. I am a 4 handicap and can play with pretty much any type of club. When I first saw these I told myself I hope they perform as good as they look. Well, they perform better than they look. That's a first! If you are a 12 or less, get these clubs! Trust me, you will not be dissapointed! |

The MP-60 is a great addition to the MP-32 Cut Muscle line. When I first saw the 32s I was impressed but intimidated by the long irons but with the addition of the MP-60 it makes this probably the best iron out there. I was hitting Fusions for a while and love them but no workability with the forgiveness. These MP-60s give you the forgiveness with the workability. I ordered them with the Royal Precision Project Rifle X shafts and while an expensive upgrade they are a great shaft and give these irons an excellent ball flight. I haven't hit the short irons in the MP-60 but if they are as sweet as the long irons, Mizuno did an A++ job with this years line of clubs for all players. They are a little on the spendy side, but with the forging as sweet as this you get what you pay for. Don't be put off by the price to try these irons, once you hit them you will be sold. Customer Service excellent, very accomidating Similar Products Used: Ping S59, Callaway Fusion, Callaway X-Tour, Hogan Apex FTX |

Just when you think Mizuno can't possibly out do their current irons. i.e. MP32's; MP37's; MX23's; they come out with what I think is "thee" best set of irons ever built: The MP60's are not only the best looking irons made, they are what I think, the best performing irons you can buy today. I've played just about every forged club there is, and none of them come close to this set of irons for feel, forgiveness, accuracy and distance control. Go out and get fit for these irons, and I can rest assure you, you will feel the same way as I do. Take it from one who once again, "has tried them all"!!! Customer Service Mizuno always takes care of any problem you have with your clubs promptly. This is simply the best looking and performing iron I have ever played. Have been playing the Cleveland TA7's for the last 3 years and really have no complaints whatsoever about them--they are great irons. However, as my game has steadily improved (currently a 3 hcp)I wanted an iron with less offset and some workability. The TA7 had too much offset and was causing me to have to play a big draw if I "went after one." Tried the MP32's when they came out and liked them, but were not forgiving enough. Then came the MP-60s. WOW!! This is exactly what I have been looking for!! First off--they are beautiful in the bag and on the course. The best part is they perform ever bit as good as they look. The feel of the Mizuno forged club is amazing. I hate to use a common phrase, but it is true--they feel like butter!! I knew that I could handle the 6-PW--but had some concern over the 4 and 5 irons. (I usually carry a hybrid instead of a 3 iron). No worries--hell the long irons are easy if not easier to hit than the mid irons! Distance has not changed at all from the TA7-the 60's just provide a much better feel and trajectory. Overall, these are just awesome. I will not look at any other irons for a long time. Mizuno may have hit a home run with the MP-32's, but they hit a grand slam with these MP-60's! Give em a go--they really are great irons with the added forgiveness--it's not just hype. I would suggest you take your time and get fitted and demo them on the course before you just go out and buy. Customer Service Go to golfclubdemo.com and they will send you a half set (4 irons) to use for a week--only $25 and they provide all the shipping labels. Great service. Just switched from the MP 32's to the 60's. For those of you who like a muscle back, but are tired of not playing to your handicap (as needed to avoid losing money to your friends too frequently), make the switch. Probably worth more than just a few shots. Don't get me wrong, I'm not likely to get rid of the 32's, but the 60's are more forgiving -as advertised. As far as feel goes, you'll hit more sweet shots --and there's no substitute for that. These are excellent irons. I highly recommend them. Not worth waiting for new Titleists 695's... Mizuno irons are simply better. Customer Service Shipped overnight with a custom spec. Paid $733. Similar Products Used: MP 32s, 690 CBs, TM LTs. |
