Handicap 22. Get these guys! It's a MUST BUY. Great irons. I love Mizuno. Weight, Feel on impact, are excellent. If you hit the ball fairly cleanly, get these clubs. As for 'shaping' your shots, now i have to only adjust slightly for a draw/fade and it goes... these irons you can AIM and FIRE!!!!!

Irons Mizuno MP60: 3-P, 53 and 56.
Woods Mizuno MP001: 1,3,5 and 7.
Putter: Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum.

Get Mizunos it's the only way to go. As a fellow Mizuno person said to me before my purchase, "Once You Go Mizuno, there is no turning back!"... and he is right. =)

Love these clubs. Been looking for a set of irons which gave me feedback and felt good swinging/hitting. Bought these slightly used (2 rounds played). Played 4 rounds so far and they feel great. MP 60s let me know exactly how I hit the ball immediately. Nice ball flight and workable. Learned to play with a handme down set of Lynx blades and dropped them because my dad said I needed to move to cavity backs. Bought a set of Armour 845s. I loved the Armours but missed the feedback from the blades. along with no feedback, the armours had a high ballflight. Tried many different clubs and just couldn't get a feel for any clubs but the MP 60s.

I have been playing for 1.5 years now and really enjoy the game. My first set of irons were the PING G2's, which are highly rated and a good game improvement iron. I've since grown tired of the way they look at set up and yearned for more of a players iron set.

I've played a round with a full set of Mizuno MX-23's w-DG Dynalite S300 shafts and didn't hit them any differently than the G2's. They felt good, but, not enough to make me switch.

After doing much research and demo'ing of irons, I chose to buy the MP60's. Not only because of their looks, but, the way they feel when you hit the sweet spot. Also, these clubs are easy to hit.

Everywhere I've read and heard that these irons are for handicaps of 0-14. I beg to differ. I'm a 23 and hit 5 GIR on my first round with these clubs, on a relatively difficult course with tons of water/wind.

If you shoot in the 90's, but, loose strokes like I do because of your driver penalties or 3 putts, you can hit these clubs.

Ball flight is somewhat high with the Dynamic Gold S300 shafts. Even higher than the PING G2's with DG SL-S300 that I have. Maybe should have gone with X100's, but, love them nevertheless.

I highly recommend these clubs. Confidence is everything on the course and these clubs make you feel like a pro.

Great Mizuno head weight that feels so good. Easy to move the ball both ways. Even the thin shots get a little more out of them . Great around the greens.

I recently purchased a new set of MP60's from my local golf shop. I was at the time a 12.5 Handicaper and a little reluctant to convert to a blade type club (boy was I dumb). The first round that I played with the clubs I instantly knew that I had made my best golf decision ever. I shot a 78 mostly because I could not put the ball in the fairway off the tee, none that less. I have played about 15 rounds with my new MP60's and my handicap has dropped nearly 3 full points in less than two months. The highest round to date with the MP60's is an 83 about 3 weeks ago. I have always stuggled with my iron play since that day I first picked up the game. I recently played my best round ever shooting a 75 last Sunday to my delight. I did have to have the clubs strengthened about 2 degrees becasue I was playing a cavity back prior to these and felt like I had lost about a half of a club. Now I feel like I have gained a full club even compairing to my old Mizuno MP23's. I would recomend the 60's to anyone that is serious about golf (while they are not cheap $$$)they are the greatest clubs that I have ever played. The feel of a blade and the forgiveness of a caviety back.
Mizuno has done it again! This is coming from a converted Titleist guy.

I have read many of these reviews, and to be honest I sometimes wonder about the "Reviewers".
Today I am reviewing the MP60 Irons from mizuno.
Without question they are the best Irons
I have ever hit.
The feel is supburb, they are like darts to the target, and off centre hits still go straight, without the sting in the hands
that you get with other clubs.
These clubs are at least 1/2 a club longer than my cg2's,easier to hit,and much more forgiving.
Don't take my word, but try hitting the hardest ball you can find and the feedback is like if it were butter.
I can ramble on and on but I won't.
I would just like to repeat an old addage
"YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR",and the MP60's
are the ultimate in forged Irons.

Hit the market looking to replace my KZG forged blades that I had been playing for the past 5 seasons. Wanted to stay with forged irons but wanted some forgiveness. Came down to the Titleist 735s, The TaylorMade TP, and the Mizunos. Before hitting any of the clubs I was leaning towards the 735s, but after two fitting sessions, I was set on the Mizunos. Just a better feel and to me a better look than the others. Distances haven't really changed, but my trajectory has gone up a bit, am not spinning as much, and mis-hits aren't as penal as they were with my KZGs. The workability of these irons is exceptionally, can hit a HIGH fade and a nice draw.

Customer Service

Best ordering concept I have seen. Wanted a blended set and they allowed me to get the 3-4 in the MX-23, 5-6-7 in the MP60, and the 8-9-P in the MP32. Need 2" long and 2-degree up. Took about 2 weeks.

I am a 7 handicap and most recently played Mizuno MP-30 irons...I tried the MP-60's on the range (much prefering a blade to the oversize irons that have flooded the market) and I must say they are fantastic!!!! what a feel!!! I have read only a few negative reviews on here and those people probably have poor swings because I let a friend of mine hit a few shots with the MP-60 7 iron and he hit just fine (he is an 18 handicap)

here are my thoughts: 1) amazing feel 2) amazing shot shaping ability 3) amazing feedback 4) amazing distance and 5) amazing looking!

my ball flight is slightly higher than my buddies, and these irons do promote a slightly higher ball flight, but if you have sound swing fundamentals, should be no issue if that is a concern

If you are looking for a blade style club, that allows you to work the ball very very well, than these are your clubs...

Yet another amaazing creation by the world's best iron maker

Customer Service

not needed but my company does work for them here in Canada and they have excellent customer service

I love playing with my new MP-60's. I was a little reserved switching to blade style items at first. I had a set of ping eye's that my grandfather passed down, but they got stolen. Then I played with my dad's Tommy Armour's, which were crap. So I wanted to get a good set that would last me a long time.
I tried out several clubs at Golfsmith, but I was surprised when I started hitting with the MP-60's. I had never really hit blades before yet I was hitting extremely well.
The MP-60's give good control over the ball and my rounds have improved by probably 6 or 7 strokes. I usually shoot mid to low 90's and I came out my first three times with the irons shooting 85, 84, and 83.
I recommend hitting these clubs, because they are definitely worth the price.

I switched from Callaway Big Bertha to a Mizuno MX-23 because I was looking for a club with more feel. The MX-23 the best of both world, forgiveness being cavity backed and feel due forging. However, I was visiting Golfsmith in Houston one day and happen to have a Mizuno fitting guy on site. Just like most readers, I thought that the MP-60 is more for low-handicapped players than for golfers of my ability. But I tried it anyway since I have nothing to lose. These clubs are actually easy to hit if you have a half-decent swing. They actually go farther than my MX-23s and the feel is incredible. The MX-23 got good feel but it is somewhat muted compared to the MP-60. I got fitted with a 1 degree flat and half-inch short. The results are unbelievable. I have been playing with these clubs for 3 weeks now and I am getting into a groove with these. Yesterday, I shot 1-under playing for a 4-ball scramble tournament (9 holes). And I am supposed to be the C-player! I credited the new irons for hitting a lot of greens and of course my Mizuno Mp-001 driver for splitting the fairways. The bottom line is: if you want to play good golf get yourself fitted by a professional, whatever brand you prefer. The difference is remarkable.
