Ok This is unbelievable. I just played with the Mizuno Mp-60 with the true temper SL s-300. I have struggled for 5 years with the titleist cb 690 and the 990 before that. These irons swing so much lighter and are so hot! I have added 15 yards to each iron and can swing with a smoother tempo knowing I am going to get the distance. More accurate, very forgiving and the feel is so crisp and solid...I will never leave Mizuno and was crazy to try any other club

I've been playing titleist 690.mb for 2 years. This year I haven't been able to get out as much as I wanted and it showed with titleist clubs. I went looking for a more forgiving club so I decided to try the mizuno mp 60's. Right away I could tell that these were more fogiving and actually more acurate. Today I had the chance to play Glenmaura, it is the course that the natiowide tour players play here in northeastern Pa. I shot an 81 and could not be happier. These clubs are amazing to say the least. Very straight and accurate. If my putting would have been better I would have been in the 70's. So if anyone of you are looking for a very nice club with foregiveness I suggest trying the mizuno mp60's.

Let me just say that I've been playing for over 20 years and I have never hit a nicer feeling club. I have always played with Ping irons beginning with the Ping Eye. Being a 10 handicap, I always thought that forged irons were only for scratch golfers. However, after a short time on the range with a six iron, I decided to make the transition to a forged iron. I ordered a set and have played with them twice. The feel is great, but the accuracy is unbelievable. I highly recommend getting fitted properly. I had always played with regular steel shafts, but found out that stiff shafts are better for me considering my kick point. The Dynamic Gold S300 shafts are great, and I have gained an extra 10 yards on my irons. The overall club is heavier than my Ping G2's with CS lite regular shafts, but the added weight is no problem and my distances have increased. No more bulky offset clubhead at address. These clubs have such a clean set up and they are such a sharp looking club. The only drawback is that they do get nicks very easily. I guess that is a sacrifice for such a soft feeling iron. This iron is good for low to mid handicappers with consistent swings or those who desire to have a consistent swing. Don't be afraid of the forged vs. cavity back forgiveness mentality. I will never stray away from the Mizuno line. These irons are awesome!!

Customer Service

Only experience is through email and they are very responsive. The clubs were ordered and at my door in seven days. I had them bent 2 degrees flat.

My iron game has improved, so I got the MP-60's as an upgrade from my MX-20's which I loved. I am a mid-handicapper, so I was concerned I was biting off more than I could chew, but these clubs are great! The transistion from the MX-20's to the MP-60's has been painless.

This is a beautiful, brilliant club. The clubhead weight feels perfect. The lines of the club at setup are clean, which makes alignment easier (one of my constant problems), and the feel of the club when you hit cleanly is amazing. I thought my previous clubs felt great, but the MP-60's are sick! Like others have said, these clubs are suprisingly forgiving for a "players" club. I find them easy to hit.

On the course, my shots are more accurate. They are also great for lower shots, and chipping. At first, I was hitting these clubs a little bit shorter than my older clubs, but now the distance is coming back.

I have been playing for 10 years, and my iron game had always been the weakest part of my game. Now I would say that my irons are the more consistant part of my game and I highly recommend the MP-60's.

These clubs do get marked up more easily compared to non-forged clubs, but you probably already knew that. If you have a pretty decent swing, you should absolutely try these clubs.

Mizuno has always been great.

I was inspired by some reviews I read about a consistant swing being the main criteria for these clubs. I am 1 week past a 3 month golf lesson series at GolfTec inside of Golfsmith. I now have very consistant swing and decided to upgrade from a set of Adams Golf A1's I have had for 2 years. They go very straight but hitting them harder or 'pure' just makes them go higher. I was looking for something that will get me more distance with a little forgiveness to boot.
I bought these Mp-60's with a S300 shaft last Monday and went directly to the grass driving range. I was hitting amazing low to mid trajectory shots and was astounded how great most of the shots felt. I went out again Tuesday to another range to see if that place just had really hot range balls. Nope, it was the clubs. I have found my magic bean.
Last Saturday, I hit to within 15 feet to 3 of the par 3's but that wasn't the best part. I hit 11 fairways with my driver and my 2nd shots were out of this world. I ran into a huge problem. 40 yards to go! That was very new to me and I have my homework assignment for this week. 50 yards and in. Finally, I can chip on my 3rd shot and not my 4th. Now if I can just get that chip closer to the pin. To be continued ....

Great clubs, easy to hit, forgiving yet will tell you what to improve. But very important : go to a clubfitter and try them in combination with a shaft that will work for YOU !
I am not the kind of player that finds it important to hit certain distances with a club, just because you're suppose to according other players or according brochures(I hit abt 150 yards carry with 6 iron). Also I don't believe that clubs will do the work for you. Often I hear talks about "working" the ball, where as I (hcp 11) just try to hit it clean and as straight as possible. I am certain very few amateurs are able to make exactly the same swing during 18 holes long. So you might consider me critical, even sceptic.
I admit, I fell for the looks of the mp-60: classic blade-like and great finish. But when I tried them out, they didn't feel all that good to me. I noticed that it felt as if I kept trying hitter it harder and harder, while normally I like to swing the club in stead of hitting. As I was about to go for another brand of clubs, I was promised by the clubfitter that with the right kind of shaft they would feel like butter to me. Built with Nippon R950 shafts I could not believe the shots I started hitting. Smooth, mid trajectory and almost forcing me to swing the club through the ball in stead of hitting. Due to the heavier weight of the clubhead it feels as if the club does all the work for you as soon as you set in your downswing.
And then .... you get to know the awsome feel of hitting a good shot with a forged iron. Golfer's heaven.

First off I would like to recommend that everyone going to a golf shop and getting fit for the right clubs. I used to play callaway BB 04 and decided that my swing had improved enough to try other irons. The Titleist 690CB I thought at the time, without being properly fit was my best choice. They are a great set of clubs but I didn't think they set up good at address and they just didn't feel right. I decided to go to a golfsmith with a launch monitor and they gave me a selection to choose from. After hitting all of these irons the MP-60 just felt by far the best. I had them specially ordered, because I had Rifle Flighted 6.0 shafts put into them and 2 degrees upright. After about 1 week I recieved them and just in time, because the next day I had a tournament. I shot a 75 and a 77. This compared to my average of 82. Since then I have averaged 78 over the past 2 1/2 months and my handicap is at 8.8. You do not have to have the perfect swing for these, but if you do hit it on the sweet spot, it will feel like butter. I have tried a number of different irons and I believe nothing compares. The balance is perfect, the address is very clean and ball flight with the shafts is thing of beauty. I think the distance is no different from the titleist. They have about the same CB which is small compared to most, but the difference between the two, is the Mizuno MP-60 is by far easier to hit including the long irons. Also I believe they are a little more forgiving than the titleist 690. I only wish I would of went and got fitted earlier. these clubs are worth every penny!!!!!!!!

The first time I hit the MP60 was off a mat at driving range. I had already hit 2 large buckets and was leaving for the day. The first hit took of dead left and low, the second stung my hands. My 13 yr old son took the nine iron and hit it 150 yds. So, I thought these may be worth a second look. I had a set of S59's I hated and the pro was willing to swap. I hit them a few more times okay but not in love. Well today I went to a driving range and hit them off the grass. I think I could have beat Tiger. I have never found a club that is so smooth, easy to work from left to right and hit straight. I can use three different swings through a round depending on what I want to do and these clubs respond to all of them. I have no doubt I got the best end of the deal. 3-P w/ 51,56,60 wedges. I have played most everything made. Long irons easy to hit and straight. Not much difference in distance. Mid and Short irons are phenomenal. Feel, response, accuracy.

I've been an ardent Titleist fan and I've always told others how buttery the feel of the 690MB was until I tried this set. This has to be the best irons that I've hit, and trust me I've tried a LOT of other irons. The weight of the clubs is very well-balanced and you can give it a very effortless swing and it produces very consistent results.
This iron combines the feel of a forged blade and the forgiveness of a cavity-back. Shaping ability is there but for a 12-handicapper like me, hitting it straight shot after shot, onto the green is a much better option, and these irons do it consistently.
Give it a try. I've never tried any Mizuno irons before but this is almost love at first sight.
