Having read the reviews and seen the awards that these clubs have obtained, I rightly had high expectations, hoping that these clubs will be right for me. However, I was sadly disappointed. These clubs are very heavy, and rattle in your hands at the slightest hint of a miss-hit with significant loss of distance. Even on a well hit shot, their distance was no better than my current set of pings that are 15 years old. I shoot in the low 80's, so these clubs must be suited for those who shoot in the 70's, otherwise I am mystified why these clubs are so highly rated. I'll ge going for the Taylor Made R7 TP's, they're perfect for me. Customer Service I tried to get hold of a demo club to try. I asked at 2 shops, and both of them had to order one in from Mizuno. I waited for 2 months for one to arrive and it never did. I eventually borrowed a set of 2nd hand clubs from a friend. Mizuno obviously don't want to sell any clubs, and if that the sort of service Mizuno give then all the more reason for staying away from their clubs. Better players will enjoy the feel provided by the clubs. I've been playing for 20+ years and find these clubs to be the most "controllable" I've ever used. I feel these clubs will help your game - High handicappers should probably avoid them - Mis-hits are forgiving for a blade but not as forgiving as a 90's golfer requires. These clubs are soft and "ding" easily. Club covers should be considered. All in all, th e60's are fantastic clubs that you will surely enjoy. I recently purchased a set of Mizuno MP 60 irons, 2 degrees flat, Dynamic Gold S300 shaft. I had been playing Callaway X-18s, and before that Callaway Fusions and Ping i3s. After a few sessions on the range to get used to the irons, I can say they are the purest irons I have ever hit. They are noticeably straighter, with a good ball flight. They are 1/2 club shorter, but that just requires adjusting club selection.

Im a highschool kid who loves golf, i was playing the rac os untill i learned how to shape the ball..i bought the new mp 60 because i was told they are the best club out there..i got them and right away i shot 72 and was very pleased. I will keep using these until i graduate and go onto college. The only bad thing about theses clubs is they have a sharper leeding edge..so if you dont play the ball back farther in your stance you may see some chunked shots. But besides that they are the greatest clubs i have hit..because of them my handicap went from a 8.9 to a 5.1 see you on the tour tiger |

I recently bought the Mizuno MP-60's and I could not be happier with them. When I set out for my new set of clubs, I think I performed the most thorough search in the history of golf. I demo'd every player's club out there and came to a few abrupt realizations. The first was that there is a distinctly noticable difference between the feel of cast vs. forged clubs. All the scientific research shows that it is the clubs lie, weight, shaft, ect. that creates this good vs. bad feel, but obviously these scientists are not out hitting clubs at the range. Forged clubs feel so much softer, like the ball is really condensing when you hit it. I really had my heart set on the Cleveland CG2's, but I hit them on several different occasions and couldn't believe how "clunky" they felt. You know that sting when you thin the ball just a little bit? Well that was how it felt with the CG2's and many of the other cast irons. Once I settled on forged, I look mostly at the Srixon I-506, the various Titleist blended series, the Taylormade rac series and the Mizuno MP series. I strongly believe Titleist is the most overrated club in the world, I liked them, but was not blown away. Taylormade makes a great club, but they had too much game improvement technology for me, the clubs looked bulky and more like a true cavity back than a blade. Srixon on the other hand, makes what I feel is the second best feeling player's club on the market. The Srixon I506's and the Mizuno MP-60's were, in my humble opinion, BY FAR the two best irons I demo'd taking both forgiveness and feel into account. I put a lot of thought into my decision, and decided on the slightly pricier MP-60's, primarily because of the soft feel, weight of the club head in your hands, and the look at address. I bought them and I am truly astonished at how much better these clubs are than any others I have ever played with. My distance hasn't changed much, nor would I have wanted it to, but I feel like I can really command the ball where to go more than ever. Being a 6 handicap, I have always struggled with precision from my irons rather than typical higher handicap issues (getting the ball in the air, hitting the ball straight, distance control, ect.)so I cannot intelligently say that these clubs will assist with any of those issues, but for players who just need that little extra feel and playability from their irons, these are the best clubs on the planet. I am so excited I bought them. Similar Products Used: Titleist blened series, Srixon I-506, Ping S58, Cleveland CG1 and 2, Cobra CB |
