Purchased on sale a couple of weeks ago. I'm a 9.6 and this past weekend played out of my mind (77 and 75) mainly due to the best and most consistent iron play I've ever had. The weight and feel of these clubs are perfect for me; something I was missing from my Ping I-10s. They work incredibly from the rough which has been very difficul this year. You feel the miss hits but distance remains fairly consistent. Customer Service Not used Similar Products Used: Ping I-10

Bought a used set Friday from the local golf shop. Had demoed 4,7,PW couple weeks back. Was skeptical about the price ($475) I paid when alot of reviews and ebay shoppers purchasing these irons new in the 400's. I was using nike forged pro combo os speed step stiff shafts, however ball flight higher than I wanted and had experienced distance loss. Set of MP 57's I bought had DG S300 SL shafts. I am not sure if it is the shafts, or a combo of the shafts with the lighter weight of the iron heads, however I can fully swing without any distractions of weight that I had always struggled with the nike irons. I have never hit a more consistent club. Even one of my common mis-hit shots (slight open face) opted the same distance only to the right (and in play). I'm telling you, Mizuno made these clubs right. My handicap after Saturday's round dipped to 11.0. Some posts say handicap 0-9, I think it depends on your swing. Know your distances and these will be deadly. Have fun! Customer Service Didn't use. Similar Products Used: Forged Nike Pro Combo OS, doesn't compare to Mizuno. |

Been looking at Mizuno for several years now. Finally bit the bullet. Boy am I glad I did! Was custom fitted using trackman and my fitting called for project X 5.5, standard length, one degree upright and one degree strong. Fitting shows six iron length of 184 vs. my old Titleist 690 .CB irons at 172 yards. My first three rounds have been 15, 15, and 16 GIR. Clubs feel like butter. I really like the pre-worn leading edge and cambered sole. Very difficult to hit a bad shot and most of all still has the traditional look. The project X shaft is an amazing piece of technology as well. |

Having read all the reviews here, i decided to buy these off ebay. Loved the look of the forged blades at first sight until i hit some balls. The hits felt chunky to me. Maybe the shaft was too stiff for me. I couldnt get proper contact with the ball as i felt that the heads were a little light. So i thought my swing was off. Then i bought a set of blades off ebay(not nike) with S300 shafts n swoosh my balls were flying with the buttery feel.

I bought these clubs a week ago and man, was a great choice. I was hitting Nike Pro Combo with S300 and before that I was playing the MP37 blades. I new I needed to make the switch back to Mizunos. They have the S300 SL. These clubs are butter! Very forgiving and easy to hit. |

Been looking at getting new clubs for some time. Demoed many types and loved the way the MP57s felt. Off center shots gave good feedback, but still traveled well. On center shots were like butter. I only thought I knew what a "right" shot was supposed to feel like before. I didn't experiment with shafts so I don't know if that would further improve my experience. I have the DGR300 which some suggest might be too "R" since I have a stiff shaft in my driver (~105mph clubhead speed). I think my iron speed is disproportionally slower than my driver though. Distance is still about the same (PW/125y; 8I/150y; 7I/160...) but I noticed my trajectory was MUCH higher (which I know some people don't like) on a teed up 7I and a little higher off the deck (compared to my only other set ever: Ping Zing). The weighting during a swing was very well balanced and built confidence. Looks good at address, too (irrelevant to me, but a nice perk since everything else works too).

I got a custom set of MP 57's. 1/2 inch short and 1 deg flat. DG R300 shafts. (I am 5' 6" tall). Have not been able to get any performance out of these clubs at all. I have been playing Ping I3 OS for several years, and the mizuno's have not been successful for me. less distance, higher trajectory (3 degrees on the 6 iron!)and of course, a smaller sweet spot. I know the MP 57's have way less offset and much less bounce, perhaps this is contributing to my lack of success with them. |

Have been playing pro t-zoid's for years and have been very happy. After much research upgraded to the 57's/px5.0 shafts.Playing several rounds this winter in high wind,I am extremely impressed with the preformance of the irons in combo/px shafts...ball flight was boring/soft landing. I highly recmd club. Customer Service mizuno custom fit....very pleased Similar Products Used: mp-62,cal tour-22 |
