Bought these irons because I wanted to play a forged club that would help me improve my game. Found them to be more forgivig than I anticipated and the Flighted Rifle 6.5 shafts an excellent transition from the Dynamic Gold S300 I had always played. Also, have been very happy with the distance and accuracy. Very comparable to other cast clubs that I have used in the past. Reminder though, these irons are not for everyone. There are a lot of other more fogiving clubs out there. But if you are a confident ball strikers who wants to play a somewhat forgiving forged club with minimum offset, give these a try.

Great clubs. Had Rifle 6.5s put on. Easy to hit. With the rifles they definately have blade like feel. Anyone can play them but probably limited to those who have confidence in their iron play. More forgiving than expected but not like a true cavity back. I switched from CBs and haven't seen a loss in distance. Easy to work the ball. If you are going to buy this get fitted and then shop around. If you are paying more than $650. You are paying too much.

I ordered my MP-30 2 degrees flat with rifle 5.5 shafs (4-PW) and a Fli-Hi 21 degree (with 5.5) instead of a 3 iron. These are the best clubs on the market period. I waited for the 690CB to come out and found them harsh in comparison to the butter smooth feel of the MP 30. A friend who got the 690CB insists he likes his clubs harsh - yeah - right! My foursome play 690MB (he traded the CB for MB - even worse, but he is a club ho), ping Eye 3 blade, Taylor Made 320 and my brother plays the titleist 990 (are these the hardest clubs to hit on the market or what!). every one of them hits better with my clubs. I suggest getting fitted clubs - the process is educational and the results are very rewarding - I no longer go left as a result of too upright clubs and it helped narrow my selection of shafts to R300 or 5.5. I will keep these clubs for a very long time as a grow into them.

I recently purchased the MP-30s. Quite a change from my cast game improvement clubs. They feel great, I can work the ball well, but the clubs provide more forgiveness than one would expect. Around the greens, the touch and clean contact, even from tight lies, is unbelievable.

Customer Service

Haven't dealt with Mizuno, but Discount Golf in Peacntree City was great. They initially mixed up the price, but were quick to correct the error. And apologized profusely.

what a set of irons. these are the best irons i have ever played. switched from the titleist 762( a great set of irons) and couldn't be happier. haven't lost any distance and improved both accuracy and feel. the trajectory is great , you can knock them down, hit them high, and chips and pitches are like target practice.

I had hit a TZoid offered to me by the guy on the range next to me and was all set to get one of the more forgiving Mizuno Iron Sets. My pro talked me into these and am I glad he did. I have great confidence in my accuracy and control with these irons and I'm getting balls to stop and occasionally spin back a little which I couldn't do with my Ping Zings. I'm threatening the 70's regularly now and it's only a matter of time before I break through.

Absolute quality! Had these irons 2 weeks now and after having thought i had made a mistake upgrading from my comp ct's i now have complete confidence in my new weapons. They look fantastic at address feel goood through the swing and a good shot will be rewarded with a sweet strike and the pleasure of watching your ball bite into the green. A must for any single figure golfer!

Since renewing my golf career 4 years ago, I've tried the Hogan Apex + , MacGregor PMB and the MP30. I've sold the Hogans and have the MP30s and PMBs. Both are excellent clubs and have True Temper S300 shafts. I find the MP 30s to be very accurate when well struck. The 3 iron gives me a little trouble off the fairway but is exceptional when used on par 3s where you can tee it up. They have a nice feel and distance is consistent with the PMBs and Apex+.

I have never played irons as good as these. Incredible accuracy and feel. Had them for a month and results keep getting better and better. For a players club, they are forgiving. Recommend to anyone looking to improve iron game. Played T-Zoids, Ping and McGregor in prior to getting these.
