What can I say these are the sweetest clubs in the world. I love mine so much. I bought them from someone who only played with them for 14 rounds. They are more forgiving then the Ben Hogan Apex and Blades and feel alot more crisp and pure when you hit them. When you hit them right its like warm butter on a cold day. You can't say enything bad about them at all. They are so sweet!!!!!!!!!! |

I am a professional golfer and I am required to play another line of equipment. When I am playing a casual round the MP-14's are in my bag. I love the feel of these forged blades and see no distance loss that is normally associated with playing a muscle back iron. I am trying to swith to these irons for tournament play. I firmly believe that Mizuno should consider bringing these irons back to the market. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Cleveland TA-3 Form Forged Nike tour blades Titlesist 690 MB |

What can I say, I have had my 14's for almost seven years now and have never thought of changing until lately. Started reading reviews of several clubs and spent time researching the specs and prices to narrow down the search. After all the time spent my search came down to the Mizuno MP30. I demo'ed several clubs right along my old set and came to the decision that my old trusty 14's were still the best clubs on the market. Even though the lofts are from 3-4 degrees weaker than the newer sets coming out, and may not be as forgiving as the newest technology, they are still the sweetest feeling clubs I have ever swung. I think I wiil be looking for an extra set to keep around when I finally wear out my current set. It is a shame they have dicountinued the MP14, but I guess you could buy the Nike forged clubs as their specs are similar. Customer Service not used Similar Products Used: McGregors pre-90's |

Being a very good solid ball striker, I recently switched from my Ping I3 to my mp14. And I loving it, amazing feel and sound. lower ball flight, workable, little shorter then my pings but not by much. Very forgiving for a forged blade. practice with this in cold weather and learn the swing, it will pay you back. Too bad they dong make them anymore. I have owned 3 sets of mp-14's...I have also owned every new club that come on the market...From Callawy x-12pro's,x-14,x14-pro's..TitleistDCI, 962, 962B'sTheir blades..Wilson..Tommy Armor...Ben Hogan....I always come back to the mp-14's...Tiger Woods still plays these irons...with a nike sticker on it...he has won all his amateur titles and everything else with his mp-14's and mp-29's...No other club come close to the feel, the feedback, and the consistency of the clubs...If you are a 10- or below handicapped player...find you a used set of these, and buy em'..Mizuno..for some stupid reason quit manufacturing these wonderful clubs, and the mp-29's..They'll eventually come to their senses and start remaking these classic one of a kind clubs again...I have mine with covers on them, and cleans them every day...They sleep by my bed...I have the tour flighted 5.5 rifle shaft in the clubs with standard lenghth, and 2 degree upright....crossline cord grips..With D-3 swingweight. I had a set of mp-33's..They suck & are to light....they are nothing like the mp-14's...That why you see a lot of used mp-33 for sale, and not many mp-14's...They are classic..If you have a set...you better hold on to them..Mine are two years old, and look brand new...I take very good care of my babies......Johnny Rogers Customer Service Mizuno reps are the best in the world at their service.... Borrowed a set of these whilst the owner (a very, very good golfer wasn't looking) and took them over to a challenging 4,000 yard 18 hole course called St Cranham. Me and the Bear, then looked to tee off at the first. The 1st was a very long, 230 yard par 5 with no bunkers. I put the small head of the 2-iron behind the Top-FlightXL ball that I had just nicked from the pro-shops and took a long, flappy swing at it. Its was a shank crossed with a duff hook, that sent the ball skimming the grass, over a fence and into a field of cows. As I usually do, it hit another one (not counting that shot), and fatted it up the fairway about 50 yards. The Bear chorttled to himself as I went round in 146 (about average). My word of advice - not for hackers ! Five dollars guaranteed Similar Products Used: Jigger, Mashie Niblick, Spoon |

i play off +1.2 handicap but only hit the ball about 230 yards off the tee.my swing speed with a driver is 100 mph but my angles of attack gives me a very spinny trajectory which looses alot of distance.I do put a huge amount of backspin on my iron shots, my 4 and 5 iron shots actually spin back.I take huge divots that aim well left.I was after a set of irons to replace my thunderbird &son blades from the late 70's. I ordered the mp 14 with X300 dynamic gold sensicore shafts that were 1.5 inches shorter than standard. my yardages have increased by about 6 or 8 yards. i hit it the following distances 2=140 yards 3=132 4=124 5=116 6=108 7=100 8=93 9=75 pw=67 sw=48 lw=36 these clubs do feel very solid and spin very well, which is a prob,So I oil the faces of my irons to reduce friction. Customer Service very good, selected right shaft for me(b9 swingweight) Similar Products Used: thunderbird&son blades sunderland rustless from scotland 1-9+jigger |
