These are an excellent set of irons. They are extremely accurate - I don't quite understand how little pieces of metal on a stick can make that much difference in this regard, but I have hit quite a few shots "stiff" with these irons, much more than my old set or any other set I've used. The set is forgiving on off-center hits. I can't feel them so much I think because I opted for the player's sofftie grips, but I know that I am hitting a fair number of shots on the toe based on the ball marks on the face of the club (this is one benefit of getting new clubs!), but I haven't had that many bad results. Shots hit on the sweet spot are wonderful. I hit a 3-iron pure, and I had to look down to reassure myself that I didn't completely whiff on the ball! I am still a bit of a novice at working the ball, but the mp-32's are easy to work - I don't always get the shape I want, but the "errant" shape is generally still a pretty decent shot. The only negative, and this is more a reflection on my game than these clubs, is that they fly rather high compared to my old set. Once I get a little better at controlling trajectory, these irons will be perfect.

Just received my mp-32's , after trying the 6 iron at the range every time I went to practice for the past few times, I decided to order these clubs. I am new to golf, playing about 8 months now. and just Love the lack of enthusiasm I get from the golf shops when I tell them this :-) so I told them I want to get the mp-32, and was told by every one there that these are for "better" players. So I asked them to come out to the range and just have a look. I think they where kind of giggling behind me as we walked up... So I took out my 5 iron mx-23 and shooting at the 185 yard flag, I put 3 on the green , and they where surprised. They handed me the 6 iron mp-32 with a chuckled. Out of the next 10 hits, they wasn't way high with a nice draw on them , and 9 out of 10 landed on the green with one 2 feet from the pin! Oh I Loved the expression on the re faces at this point as they all stood there dumbfounded. So I hand the 6 Iron back and he asks, will that be check or charge :-) These clubs are absolutely beautiful! The accuracy is just dead on to where you aim the ball. 90% of the shoots just dead straight with a slight draw, with Huge air, Now I will have to learn to deloft like the pros and I will have it made.. Currently I shoot most of my rounds in the high 90's. Please do not listen to the "pros" at the shops, Try these clubs, and See for your self. Most of all find clubs that fit the way you play, and these clubs fit my style exactly - Aggressive!

Customer Service

Called for advice, they where very helpfull to get the clubs that I wanted.

WOW Just got a set of MP 32's I can honestly say that these are the nicest irons i have ever played. Cosmetically clean and set up perfectly. Great soft feel. Length is as long as any i have played. Penetrating ball flight. The long irons get up high and are easy to hit. This is a simple piece of steel molded into a precision tool. They have done it right !These play easier and are as forgiving as any of the cavity back irons i have ever hit

When I first looked at these clubs, I was hoping they would hit as well as they appear. It was really a choice between the MP-32 and the Titleist 690 CB. A few pros told me that the 690 CB would be more forgiving, since it is a cavity back. Well, I guess it all depends upon your ball striking ability since the MP-32's have the same feel on slight miss shots. The most impressive aspect of the Mizuno MP-32 is it's distance. They are very long, which has made fairway woods obsolete. The feel of a good shot is more rewarding than it ever has been. Great product and a few hundred cheaper than Titleist, Taylor Made, and Cleveland.

I had been playing a set of KZG's which I got custom fitted about 5 years ago by an apparent crack head (or maybe my swing drastically changed and I shrunk 4 inches). They basically no longer fit my swing and I felt it was time for a change. I visited a professional who gave me my specifications, and bought the irons from a certified Mizuno retailer via eBay. I chose to upgrade to the Project X 6.0 flex shafts. The MP-32's sold me with their marketing and technology, but they really back it up. The short irons are absolutely perfect. Beautiful mid trajectory and for some reason they really spin! Plus the feel is like hitting nothing at all when you pure them. I also feel like I'm hitting the short irons 5-10 yards longer than my previous clubs. Long irons are taking a while to get used to. The 3 iron looks like a butter knife, but it's all just a confidence thing and I'm sure I'll come around. When hit well, the long irons are absolute rocket launchers, very high, very far, very soft. The heads are much smaller than my previous set which makes me concentrate much more and will eventually lead to more consistent impact. These are truly world class instruments, plus they look awesome! I don't think these clubs are for everyone though, so I'd try to demo them before you buy them. Demo them on the course, not the hitting bays at the golf store. I'll let you in on a secret: Those hitting areas are calibrated to sell you drivers. That machine said my 6 iron went 220. In my dreams... Enjoy!

As an improving player I wanted to upgrade my MX15s to something other than a set of 'game improvement' irons which I felt wouldn't benefit me or challenge me. Plus I hate chunky looking irons like Callaway & Ping can often be. (Why do people insist that a thick top line inspires confidence?) I tried various sets, including my mate's MP33s, which I was surprised to find I hit better than my 15s. I was always steered away from blades?? I tried the MP32s after spending 10 minutes convincing the store that I could hit them! I was not disappointed and was subsequently custom fit for a set. I usually drive about 290 - 300 yards with a swing speed in the high nineties, but found I got on better with the DG300 Rs as they gave me better flight than the standard stiff shafts, and with less effort. Leave the ego at home people! After several months of practice I'm now shooting better scores and my iron play is the best part of my game. The confidence these clubs give me has helped enormously and I now know when I've hit a good shot or a bad shot, such is the feedback you get from the club, whereas my old clubs felt the same regardless. Admittedly I hit the ball higher than some might like, but I like the extra yardage (on average +20yards over MX15s and +10 over Mp33s for some reason). Plus this helps with landing the longer irons on the greens when they are a bit firm. Off centre hits should be avoided as with all blade type irons I guess, but these are still forgiving enough to still get you down the fairway, just 10 or 20 yards less than a clean hit. Now I'm able to shape shots with more control and look forward to using the irons when I know I have to be accurate. Hit well these irons feel so sweet and the ball just flies with so little effort, much to the annoyance of my pal with his stiff MP33s! In fact, thats also my only criticism. I still get caught out sometimes when I really middle one over the back of the green. But that's a nice problem to have.

Customer Service

Not directed at Mizuno as such, but golf stores and fitting centres in general. In several locations I practically had to insist that I was good enough to own these clubs before the 'pro' even saw me hit a ball or would fit me for them, just because my handicap is over single figures!? What's that all about? One even asked me if I knew how many of the worlds top ten players hit blades, so I asked him how many of the worlds top ten players were in his shop? Don't generalise people, and give people the benefit of the doubt until you've seen them hit the ball!

Just bought a set of these shafted with Project X 6.0's. I have played nearly every set known to man, and hands down, these take the prize. The ball-flight of these irons are like any other I have ever swung before. You strike the ball and you immediately feel how soft these forged irons are. They provide the feedback that I was searching for. Once the ball is hit, it gets up, and this is where these irons set themselves apart...the ball levels out. This has shown better penetration and stopping ability on the greens. These irons are not for everyone, so do your research. This set easily moved my X-18 PS to the 2nd bag.

Customer Service

They're superb in answering any and all of my questions.

These irons are as smooth as butter - with the low center of gravity and great balance, these are the best set of blades I've had the pleasure to hit. I ordered these from Edwin Watts with +1/2" and 4 degrees up - took 2 weeks to receive and the wait was well worth the reward. I feel very confident, even though the ball flight is higher than I'm used to. Good shots can barely be felt coming off the face, while bad shots provide feedback. Without a doubt the best-looking irons available. Highly recommended for ANYONE - I've been playing with blades since I've shot in the high 90's.

Model Reviewed: Mizuno MP-32 blades

Purchased the MP-32 blades with Project X shafts. These are left handed and had to wait till production started on them in February and received them within 2 weeks. Everything was perfect on them, lie, length and loft that I requested was there. A quality product, first class. after some practice with them for yardage adjustment went out for my 1st round and shot 1 over. they were exactly what I was looking for, great ball flight, consistant feel with the Project X shafts and distance control was right there. A top notch line of blades, traded in my 690MB Titliest for them. Looking forward to the year.

Customer Service

Excellent response time on the irons and delivery was quicker then expected.
