Wanted to see if blades were really harder to hit, my old irons were X-16 Callaways w/ultralight shaft. The mp-32's are fitted with a R300 Dynamic gold shaft and all I can say is they feel like butter compared to my callaways. There has been an increase in distance over the x-16's and the feel is amazing! They are extremely easy to hit and look very good at address, much better than the bulky callaway. I have not seen any crazy ball flight from them. I now am a firm believer in the fact that you must hit the ball well no matter what club your hitting. Long iron blades are not for everyone but if you can hit a 7 iron in your cavity back then you can still hit the blade. Absolutely no complaints, Mizuno would still be #1 iron on tour if they threw around more money!!!!

Customer Service

Absolutely superb, they will talk to you very frankely and let you know anything you want to know about their equipment.

Classy irons that look and play great. As the hype says, the feel and flight you get throughout the set is extremely consistent. They do exactly what it says on the tin!! Long irons have a reasonably penetrating flight yet still seem to get to the same height as the short irons - without balooning. Very useful for hitting into tight, well guarded greens. I tried them with both DG 300s and Rifle 6.5. The DGs felt a lot softer, however I was getting better distance, trajectory and consistency with the Rifles. The Rifles are definitely a touch firmer though. Forgiveness...Well they are pretty easy to hit, however I would only recommend them for decent ball strikers. Mis-hits don't feel too harsh due to the soft feel, however you probably lose a few more yards than you would with an MP30 or other cavity back.

Customer Service

I was custom fitted at Mizunos custom fitting centre in the UK (Cumbernauld, Scotland). Can't fault it. Was able to try the MP32s (along with the other models) in a variety of shaft, length, lie configurations before ordering. The set arrived about 10 days later.

Similar Products Used:

Taylor Made RAC Combo - almost as soft as the Mizunos. Not much between them in terms of performance. Ping S59 - Excellent boring flight. Decent feel considering they are cast. MP30 - soooo soft. Not as nice to look down at though. MP33 - Cracking blade but went just a bit too high for me. MP37 - Again, very soft, low penetrating flight. Was a hard decision between these and the 32s, I felt that MP32s are just that little bit easier to hit though.

i've always been a big muzuno fan but i have to say that i am not impressed with mizuno's latest offering. i bought the set custom ordered to my specs x-100,+1/2" 3 up and was very excited when they arrived. it didn't take long to disappoint. i hit the ball along way (125+ driver speed)and i like trajectory control in my irons. i hit these irons extremely high. for most golfers thats a blessing, but i need trajectory control. i had to try to knock down the ball just to hit what i feel is a normal trajectory shot. if you need to hit the ball higher and want a set of blades these are for you. they are forgiving for mis-hits on the toe. i thought the irons felt a bit hollow compared to the usual buttery feel of blades. i think the 33, and 37's feel better and do a better job of controlling my trajectory. these will be good for average swing speed player who want to make the switch to a blade.

I have read that blades should only be used by lower handicap players and even Mizuno recommends them for the better player. This may be true for some blades but the mp-32 are definitely easier to hit than other blades I have tried. This is my first venture into blades so I kept my old mx-20s just in case. Initially, I noticed a slight loss in distance probably due to the weaker lofts compared to the mx-20s but now after 3 months I notice little or no difference. I am not a blade expert but I believe these clubs will help my shotmaking in the long run because the feedback from blades helps develop good muscle memory. IMHO, Mizuno makes the finest, sweetest feeling irons on the marked.

I don't own these clubs but I have hit them numerous times at golf stores. I love the feel of these clubs. Even though they're blades I think they feel more forgiving than the MP-30's. I shoot in the mid to upper 80's right now and if I get my game down to the low 80's/upper 70's I'll definitely be targeting these irons. I predict these will be Mizunos best selling irons yet because of the fact they have the playability of a blade but are more forgiving than most blades.

This will be a fairly short review because these are simply the best irons I have ever hit period. Great feel, good distance, excellent control, excellent workability, great looks, and innovative technology. I have found the long irons easier to hit than most full cavity back irons. Mizuno designers have hit a home run with these.

Customer Service

Excellent.

I bought the MP32's because Mizuno has such a great reputation for making first-class irons and I hit a six iron and really fell in love with the ball flight and feel. In my mind, I wanted to get a set to be proud of and that I wouldn't want to change every 6 months as I have in the past. I knew I would change out the DG S300 shafts but played with them for two weeks before doing so. I changed to DG S400 and that helped the left and right control quiet a bit (a little heavier feel). In this set, I hit an 8 iron 165 yards on the fly. The longer irons taper off a bit to only 215 yards on the fly for a 3 iron. I am going to change out the DG S400's for DG X100's for even more control and consistency against the wind. I noticed the heads were very inconsistent in terms of head weight. I had to add different lead weights to each head to a D3 swing weight. That was the only thing that I thought Mizuno could have been done better. If you don't change out the shafts that won't be an issue for you. Did I mention how well they feel and how easy it is to hit draws or fades and very consistent in terms of distance. mda

Yeah baby, this is the best iron for blade muscle back.. Although this irons cuts not only its muscle, it also cuts off my bank as well.. :( But it worth every single penny!!! A beautiful set of iron.. my say is that this is the only equipment for low handicappers that have improvement since the old days where forged irons were found.. Looks crazy and dead accurate workability.. I used this with a true temper stiff dynamic gold. I won;t recommend this shaft to anyone. unless you can generate a driver with 270 yard forget about that shaft.. don't get the ego over your head :) no one cares what you use for equipment as long as your score is good! :)

Mizuno has come through with a set of irons that are truly outstanding. I've played with their MP-30's and the MX-23's. These are excellent clubs as well, but don't come close to the feel and looks of the MP-32's. I traded in a set of Titleist 690.CB's for these, and can honestly say, even though the MP-32's are more of a muscle back iron, they are more forgiving and have much better feel than the Titleists. I had these new Mizunos custom fit for me with Dynamic Gold Lite shafts. They perform like no other clubs I've had. You have got to get a demo iron and go out and hit these to know what I'm talking about. Then, make sure you get them fitted for you by a pro. You will be one happy camper!!

Customer Service

Mizuno has always been great with their service. I had these custom fitted and in 7 days I had the clubs.
